Pros:

You get a lot for the price and the packaging is good.

Cons:

It strips your skin and is really too harsh for me and i dont even have sensitive skin.

Some people find it works so give it a try but it didnt work for me. I wouldnt trust all the rating here as most of them are from people who having only been using the product for a few weeks.

Pros:

Lathers nicely, removes oil and makeup

Cons:

Smells absolutely terrible - kind of mildewy

Try it for yourself - maybe I just got a bad bottle?

Simple to use, easy on the skin.

Cons:

Doesn't work too well.

Give it a shot, it could be right for you.

Pros:

Lathers great and it pretty cheap.

Cons:

Dries out skin like crazy. There is no way this cleanser is gentle in any way. YOUR SKIN WILL PEEL BADLY! I do not have gentle skin by any means...I was using 10% benzoyl peroxide wash on my face at one time and it was not as drying as this wash.

I would use Purpose face wash. It also lathers well and makes my face feel great.

Pros:

good lather, nice size, doesn't dry out skin

Cons:

leaves skin too oily, expensive shipping

i really like the rest of the daniel kern products, but i have gone back to my old soap. like the rest of daniel kern's products, this is really expensive to ship, so it's not worth it to me. it left my skin too oily, and after a week or two my acne was significantly worse than it had been previously. now i use my old soap and the daniel kern bp and moisturizer and things are back on track!

Pros:

Good Value
Non Perfumed

Cons:

Slight Over Drying
Gave Me more spots

I never believed that Face wash was a real essential part of the regimen until trying out this one.It does represent good value for money and doesn't smell of horrible perfumes that so many cleansers do these days. However thats where the likability stoped for me. I found it over dried ever so slightly but on the other hand i have always found that this is more than often the case. Having used it for 6 weeks I can safely say that this cleanser isnt suited to my skin type - which happens to be normal. I was clear for about a year using st ives facial scrub and simple moisturizer. For some reason I decided to change to this cleanser and that turned out to be a big mistake. By all means try it, however if your skin is clear then don't bother.

Pros:

A little goes a long way, so with a bottle this big you won't be buying face wash again anytime soon. It also does clean your face, almost too much. Fragrance-free or if anything, too little to notice.

Cons:

My biggest complaint is OVERLY DRYING!!Also, with shipping it's pretty pricey, although if you buy a whole bunch then it's not too bad.

For a long time I thought it was the benzoyl peroxide that was drying out my face until it looked like sand paper and was peeling like crazy. I had to constantly put a moisturizer on my face. I started to reduce the amount of bp until i was only using a tiny dot on my face. unfortunately, I was still getting the same results. I started to think that I was allergic to bp. But then I went on a trip and forgot my facewash at home. Instead I ended up using my mother's. Miraculously my face began to get less and less dry until I didnt even need to use a moisturizer any more. I even increased the amount of bp. The first time that I used Dan's facewash after I got home, the flakiness started to come back and for the first time in a week I had to put a moisturizer on. For about two months I had had extremely dry skin and coulndnt figure out why. Now I know that it was the facewash that dried my face out like a raisin in the sun. I definately will not be buying this again.

Pros:

- Silky Smooth Application
- Positive Solution for Shaving
- Large Bottle

Cons:

- Too Overdrying for Combination Skin Areas
- Shipping and Packing Costs Too High
- Fails to Penetrate Cleansing Deep Enough

A generally quite good product depending on your skin type, but it appears that flaws are present. Parts of my skin find a good tolerance with the product and therefore it proves effective in the job it is aimed for, however for combination skin like mine certain areas around my Nasal regions have massively over dried leading to flaking that very few moisturisers can touch. Overall though for the application and the anti-irritation factor for shavers, this is a good product. I think another guy may of touched up on this, but it would be a great idea if 'Dan' could introduce a FREE sample or charge a small fee for a much smaller sampler. The cost implications involved for a poroduct that potentially may not work is quite frankly off the scale. I'm in two minds on whether or not i shall stay on this and fight it out, on the other hand i'll probably move away from it. Read before you buy, it's not for everyone.

I read a lot about acne products and what surprises me the most is that this facial wash is lacking tea tree oil. I hear nothing but good on tea tree oil! Would be neat if people start a topic about adding in tea tree oil with this cleanser and test the difference... as far as how much, that would be hard to decide. I would think that 10% pure tea tree oil added to the cleanser would help significantly.

Pros:

Kinda cheap if you buy in bulk.

Cons:

It honestly does overdry. A lot worse than anything else. A lot of these reviews are biased as you can easily tell. My sister also tried it and said it was way to overdrying. So buy a bottle and see how it works.

try it.
