Pros:

Coverage is really good
I had a great color match
It lasted ages

Cons:

Gave me bumpy skin
Made me itchy
Really messy

When I first found this I truly believed that I had found my holy grail foundation. I couldn't believe how it could be non comedogenic and afford as much coverage in one go as a concealer and a heavy foundation. I used it for months and was delighted. I had bad skin but I thought that was just the way it was. I was focused on the big pustules and inflammed acne rather than the bumpyness of my skin in general. I had what felt like little bumps all over my forehead and my chin, my forehead being the worst. It wasn't until my derm commented on the bumps that I really noticed them as I was always more focused on the bigger more red acne. She advised me to quit using it. After quitting for a while all the little bumps went away and I won't be using this again. I loved it for the coverage and how flawless it looked but the itchiness and all the little bumps are not worth it.

Pros:

-Good coverage for light acne
-Somewhat controls oil
-Easy to apply

Cons:

-Flakes
-Causes breakouts
-Rubs off easily
-Gives very little coverage for not severe acne

IF I HAD ONLY KNOWN!! I started using bare minerals 2 years ago when I started getting acne. I thought it was a godsend when I first starting using it (seeing as I only had 1-3 pimples at a time) but then as I started breaking out more I would just continuously apply more and more. Then, I found out that a ingredient in bare minerals as well as other mineral makeups is known for its allergic reactions and potential acne breakouts. I have been covering my face in this for years now assuming that it would help when it's only made it worse. Not recommending this!

Pros:

covers acne well
good skin tone match
healthy minerals

Cons:

made pores larger
cause white bumps along my chin/jaw

I really liked this at first. it covered my acne really well and matched my skin. however over time I noticed my pores were larger and that I was getting white bumps under my skind on my chin..the area of acne concern. I would constantly have these bumbs and nothing cleared them up. I decided to stop using this and start using Maybelline PureStay foundation. Once I switched the bumbs started to clear up and my pores got smaller. I was bummed because i thought it would be healthy and healing to my skin but not for me

Great. (If you have perfect skin...)
This foundation is amazing-if you have flawless skin. Unfortunately, I do not. It does do a really good job of evening out your skin tone but doesn't do much at all at actually covering a spot or pimple. Also, it only works on oily skin. Although it is still a better foundation than others as it doesn't make my skin any worse.

Foundation is great, contour is not!
I have been wearing Bare Minerals for so long and it has never made me break out. But since my face is naturally red, I decided to use warmth as a blush instead of a red base color. Over 2 weeks, I've noticed that there were pimples only where I put warmth on. I then went back to sephora to try a compact bronzer from Bare Minerals. I still break out only where I put it on. Guess I will return and look for a different brand for contouring.

Pros:

feels like nothing's on ur face
coverage is quite good

Cons:

makes u itch and irritated my skin
made me breakout a lot, esp around my jaw line

bare minerals has a lot of bad reviews from multiple sources because of how it aggravates acne despite being "natural" and minerals. the concept is great, but overall, i wouldn't get it. my face itched too much and the break outs were not fun.

Pros:

It matched my skin perfectly. And it doesnt feel as heavy as the liquid makeup.

Cons:

Makes my skin itch and sometimes the coverage is not as good as I want it to be.

Im starting to think that its causing some of my break outs. So Im currently looking for another foundation.

Pros:

Awesome coverage (especially when using a small, more concentrated brush)
bare-feeling (but really only when you first brush it on)

Cons:

expensive ($35
makes the skin slick after a few hours, but dry in other places
rubs off way too easily

I've used this product for forever it seems, but just this summer (and after checkin out other reviews) I've realized this hasn't helped much, if at all. I realized it just recently because this summer I spent days at a time without foundation on, helping my skin breathe SO MUCH! And when I started using this again, I realized it really made my skin unappealing. Hugging my friends, it would rub onto their clothing, even if I barely brushed their shoulder! It also seems to sink into my skin show my blemishes again by the end of a school day. I do not know why I'm just starting to believe this; I think it's because I wanted so badly to love the product, both because of hype, and because of price! I would both recommend and not because I do believe people who have LIGHT or no acne would love this product, but for light-moderate to severe acne, I don't believe this will help you. I'm now stuck in rutt for a foundation though!

Pros:

doesn't feel like you have makeup on. Easy to apply

Cons:

doesn't cover much. Hard to get the right shade. price.

I got the matte version, and while I don't think that I had an increase in acne, it also didn't seem to have the coverage or oil control that I was looking for.

Pros:

-Feels natural
-Looks fine from a couple feet away
-Doesn't break me out

Cons:

-Looks TERRIBLE up close
-Makes skin look pretty oily
-Doesn't help with acne (but like I said it doesn't break me out either)

I started using this about a 6 months ago. At first, I was very proud of how I looked. Now, I don't really like to wear it because my friends told me I put on too much. But I can't put on any less if I want to cover up my acne.
