Pros:

Great exfoliant
Available to everyone for very cheap

Cons:

Did not clear acne at all

I used this for several months, and it gave my skin a healthy glow and sloughed off the dead skin, but it did not clear my acne at all. In fact, I felt like it made my scars stand out more and made the redness a lot more noticeable. I also kind of felt like it bleached my face a little bit, which was both good and bad - I have some dark hairs on my face but I don't want to look like death. Bottom line - great exfoliant, but if you want to get rid of acne, it may do nothing for you.

Pros:

left skin feeling less oily- skin feels a bit smoother in areas- seems to help some with hyperpigmentation as well

Cons:

acne is still there- made skin red

give it a shot you dont have anything to loose but your dreadfull acne! trust me i know how your feeling right now. i continuosly research acne blogs online hoping to find a miricle cure but i think the main thing to focus on is having patience. try not to stress out about your acne and do something fun with the girls for a night to get your mind off of it! -oh and give things time to work. if you use it for a week and see no results dont give up. it takes a while for your skin to adjust to new produtcs! :)

Pros:

Cheap
Clears up /most/ big red acne
Works AT FIRST

Cons:

Does not gurantee long term clear skin
Prolonged use caused immunity

For the first few weeks, it cleared up my skin ALOT. It was amazing! :D (Water + Baking Soda Mask, leave it on for 20 minutes). /Most/ of my large pimples are gone (those annoying red ones). BUT.... now there are many of these tiny little bumps, which I hate even more. The baking soda DOES NOT work anymore, my skin has gotten used to its affect, I believe. It's as if my face doesn't want to get any better. ;_; It may or may not work out for you. I would reccomend it, but not for long term use.

Pros:

Cheap and easy to use...I just mixed it with a few drops of water to make a paste. My face felt so clean and smooth afterwards.

Cons:

Made my face red and I got a bit of a rash that disappeared after a few hours...it wasn't too bad, I just looked a bit flushed. Also, my face is a bit oily today, I think because I stripped so much off last night, it's overcompensating!

I wouldn't recommend this if you have sensitive skin as it's probably a little too abrasive and harsh. If your skin is tougher than mine though, it will really make your face feel extra clean.

Pros:

slightly reduced inflammation of acne
made my skin soft
cheap and very gentle

Cons:

is a little messy
will sting a little
very drying

i have very sensitive skin, so i was skeptical about using this. it is not a wonderful for treating acne, as i did not see much of a result. however, this did make my skin very soft! i have only used it a few times, so maybe it will have long-term effects. i sure hope so! P.S. it dries very quickly and will feel a little funny. when it starts to flake, its ready to be washed off. follow this with a lotion, as it really is drying.

Cons:

Stings, makes skin more red and very sensitive. Normally I don't have sensitive skin but this did not feel good! My skin was very red and is still red a day later. Made the small break-outs I had way worse.

I would not use this again. Way too harsh on my skin.

Pros:

-Seems to get a lot of good reviews
-Leaves skin feeling smoother

Cons:

-your acne may be red after you remove the mask
-you may not like the results at first but you have to be patient!

It really does work. Although, your skin will be redder after you remove the mask. You need to be patient and wait, within an hour your skin should feel better, as well as look better. The key is patience. **** Again, this is my opinion, MY skin was redder after I removed it, but feel free to try it out yourself. :)

Pros:

-Makes a noticeable difference in the size of cystic pimples

Cons:

-Stings
-Irritates skin

Does not clear up acne completely but it's worth a try if you are willing to do a mask once a week or mix with water and use as a scrub before bed.
