Pros:

OMG! i loved the new skin feel after I exfoliated!

Cons:

You must instantly have to add a moisterizer such as olive oil.

I have been using retine for a year! I want to stop using it and replace it with something else. Arm and Hammrt is going to be my new exfoiliant! Im only going to use it about every two weeks though!

Pros:

makes skin smooth and tight, eventually evens out complexion. dries up pimples.

Cons:

a little messy

very cheap. if you have a pimple that has just formed, wash your face, dry it, then wet that pimple alone and put the baking soda on it . Leave it on over-night. it will eventually bring the pus to the top, just as if it were about to burst. . I know you shouldn't squeeze a pimple, but if you are tempted (like myself) squeeze it till it gets flat and blood comes out. wash face and put baking soda on it again for overnight. you will see how it dries it up quickly. I can even wear make-up over it and nobody notices.

Pros:

Leaves skin smoothe,, really cheap acne fix, don't forget to moisturize afterwards!!

Cons:

Can tingle a bit...taste disgusting don't put it near your mouth lol Will dry out skin so use moisturizer after!!

I mix a teaspoon with my cleanser, sometimes I mix alot of baking soda and some water and make a mask. I'm black and dark skinned so redness isn't really an issue, nor do I have really bad acne I only get a pimple like once a month if that. However when I get them I get little black scars on my face. The bs helps make them less visible and and I actually was experiencing a breakout the first night I used bs and it took it away in 3days!!! I also noticed my pores look smaller , which is grrreeat since I don't use foundation or concealer etc. Oh Definately moisturize after using it!!!

Pros:

Just washed it off, pores I was upset about before I applied it have shrunken considerably, though not completely gone. (Yet!)

Cons:

Mild sensation when first applied... but I kinda liked it.

I just washed this off my face a few minutes ago after being a first time user and leaving it on for 20 minutes. My face has suffered no redness, in fact I found a decrease in redness since I've removed it and my face looks like it has an almost matte finish.. well minus the blemishes! I found no difference in those small annoying little bumps most people have but my large inflamed acne has cooled down a bit. :] excited to continue use!

Pros:

cleans deep down clogged pores, makes my skin really really soft and smooth after use (depending on how you would apply it)

Cons:

not much cons so far, i've only started using it and actually liking its results.. but it tastes ewww when some got to my mouth while rinsing xD

the results depend on how each and everyone of us use this. I used mine with oil control facial wash, and a pore minimizing facial wash.. but, idk.. I bet the result would be awesome no matter how you would clean your face with baking soda. (4 smileys because I have just started using baking soda)

Pros:

Price, Skin feels so soft, Seems to be pulling all pimples to the surface and drying them out.

Cons:

Messy!! Stings a bit.

I mix Baking Soda with water and leave it on till it dries. I have been desperate for help with my face. My skin was always pretty clear growing up, never had any real acne issues. When I turned about 31, I started to break out a little more here and there. I recently moved to Europe and all hell broke loose (literally). My skin is awful! I've tried everything under the sun, but it never seems to work. Now I'm on Spironolactone which is great for weight loss and other things and I think it's slowly starting to take effect now. But, I just tried the Baking soda scub mask thingy. My skin is much softer and it seems to be pulling all the pimples that may have been hiding to the surface. They seem to be drying up quite a bit and the overall apperance of my skin looks a little better. I'm of course on of those instant gratification kind of people so I get frustrated easily if I don't see improvement right away. Wish Me Luck!! So far so good :P

Pros:

smooth skin, less pimples, relieves dry itchy skin

Cons:

none so far

Okay i found out a great way to relieve pimples and dry itchy skin!! yay=] so i did some experimenting and i found a baking soda remedy recipe. heres how you do it: 1.) first you grab a small container, and pour in water filling up about 1/2 of the container. 2.) put 2 tbsp of baking soda in the container of water. then grab a cotton ball and completly soak it in water. 3.) then get your usual face cleanser (unless its very tough stuff, just get body wash or hand soap) 4.) dab the cotton ball in the container and apply to zits. 5.) let the baking soda sit on your pores for about 3-5 minutes 6.) then wash with warm water and exfoliate with soap/regular face cleanser. AND YOUR DONE!!! your pimples almost disapear instantly depending on how band you have acne! if you alot of acne, you may have to continue doing it for a few days up to a week or so. hope this helps all you acne haters=]

stings

Pros:

Exfoliates, cheap

Cons:

Strong stuff

Works for me. I think it removes dead skin cells which may be blocking/clogging your pores. Hopefully won't need to use this after using the regimen because you're not supposed to exfoliate too often.
