Cons:

Baking soda is amazing! I brush my teeth with it! and I use it on my face as a mask and in the shower as a scrub! I use it for many more things but baking soda was one of the best products i have ever used. and its cheap!

Pros:

Its all natural. And cheap too!

Cons:

Just a little burning, but I have super sensitive skin so I expect it.

I've been reading so many good things about using baking soda so I thought I would give it a try. It's to early for me to tell how well it will work but I have faith! I used it last night and this morning mixed in with my Mary Kay deep cleansert and then I used it tonight as a paste with water. It burned a little especially on my lower jaw where I am broken out, but it's ok now. I applied mosturizer afterwards but no salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide as usual, I dont want to mix the two. I'm hoping to see some good results when I wake up in the morning! I will keep posting!

Pros:

It made my skin smooth, and got rid of breakouts the first week I used it

Cons:

Stings, redness, dryness, caused me to really breakout

When I first started using it it seemed like I finally found the solution to my acne problems. My skin was the smoothest it had ever been and the pimples I started faded really fast. I felt like a million bucks. I used it every night. I would make a paste with it and rub on my face for about a minute and rinse it off. I was a little careless with it though. I found I had not completely rinsed it off some mornings. Also, at this time I began taking vitamin D, (2000 iu). Then the second week rolled around. I noticed my skin was starting to get bumpy around my temples and on my forehead. Initially I did not think much of, but then It started to really breakout. It has been the worse breakout I have had in a long. Usually, I breakout with one our two pimples in areas, but now I breakout in clusters of small pimples that. These areas have become very rough and blotchy. I have stopped using the baking but not the vitamin D. It seems like it is getting a little better.

Pros:

*makes skin smooth
*exfoliates

Cons:

*stings at open sores

I just tried it llike two seconds ago after reading some of these reviews and it felt pretty good. It exfoliated my skin and made it smooth. It did sting and its still stinging a little but its deffinately not bad if it works. Just add a little water to some baking soda and rub it in a circular motion on your face. And don't leave it on too long. Right after your done rubbing it all over just rinse it off and dry. And don't forget to moisturize :) Good luck! Hope it works for u!

Pros:

It really works!
But soda is not only good for acne (skin problems) but also used to rebalance someone's acid-basis equilibrium.

Cons:

Itching and red spots

What's more- adding baking soda to a hot bath at any time also helps wash acid wastes out of the body. I tried for throat ache (as I had it every morning in winter). Before go to bed I put some soda- in a wet shawl-then around my neck and the morning after (and since then) I have no more throat ache...

Pros:

makes skin extremely soft. I'm talkin baby soft. Alleviates redness and irritation of acne.

Cons:

Dries out skin a little bit and stings a little when you put it on.

I used baking powder as a mask for the first time, just added a little bit of water to it and smeared it on. I left it on for about 10 min and washed it off with warm water. The results were incredibly smooth skin and my big acne bumps seemed to be less irritated and not as red. I will definately try this again.

Pros:

Helps clear zits from skin. I have only used this a couple of days but I feel I am already noticing a difference in my skin.

Cons:

Stings a little, but I think its worth it (and it doesnt sting too badly).

Make sure you use this one your face for only a couple of minutes, otherwise your face will get very red and your skin might react.

Pros:

Great exfoiliator (not harsh) & cheap.

Cons:

None

I use this every 2-3 days depending on how my skin feels. I use a liquid black soap cleanser on my face then take baking soda and rub in small circles all over for about a minute. cheap & easy!

Pros:

*CHEAP
*Easy to use and non-irritating
*SIGNIFICANTLY reduced 2 CYSTIC pimples I'd had that normally take 2-3 weeks to resolve

Cons:

Messy.

I've been trying everything from lemon juice, vitamin C, ACV, peroxide, Acne Free, Proactiv, Cetaphil, OMG. I'm depressed reading how many I've tried. Back in June I went to the dermatologist because I was breaking out occasionally and wanted to get a handle on it, he prescribe me terazol which COMPLETELY destroyed my face. Been fighting the breakouts every since. I wanted to try and cure my acne from the INSIDE out inside of the OUTSIDE in, so I went on a natural hunt for a acne cure.Currently I'm: Eating an apple a day (malic acid) taking 2 apple cider vinegar tablets daily to balance out my acid in the morning wash with desert essence face wash tea tree with awapuhi follow up with lemon juice on the dark spots to lighten them up jojoba oil (closest to skin oil) with a few drops of tea tree in it in the evening I used a little baking soda and washed my face with just that and the water have a spray bottle with half water have ACV and SPRITZ my face, put a b.soda dot on pimp.
