Pros:

It made my skin really smooth and took all the redness out with the first use.

Cons:

I had to rinse forever because there were little granules of baking soda left everywhere.

It was my first time using the mask and I'm extremely amazed with the results. I spent all this time and money buying heavy duty products when this little remedy was in my house all along. I'm extremely impressed and hope I keep getting great results.

Pros:

Really clears up skin quickly

Cons:

Slightly messy to apply; dries out skin a little (but moisturizer fixes it)

I use baking soda mixed with water as a scrub daily and the difference in my skin is amazing. It's really reduced the number of pimples I see - it even reduced the number during my monthly period-related breakout, which is nothing short of miraculous. It doesn't get rid of every single pimple, so I'm combining it with a tea tree oil gel which I spot treat with.

Pros:

Clears skin, refreshes, and evergizes.

Cons:

Nothing really.

Helps clean the skin. It is great afterwards to put on a great toner like, withch hazel. And then after to use a natural moistirizer like cocunut oil, or other essential natural oils.

Pros:

Gentle exfoliant, improved skin texture, quick & easy! No burn for me!

Cons:

None so far.

I have been using topical retinoids for over a year. I was on Retin-A for about a year, which helped to bring me out of the worst flar-up of my life, however, I was still not satisfied with the state of my acne. I was then prescribed tazorac cream (supposedly the strongest retinoid) and have been consistent with it every night for three months now. After a substantial IB, I hadn't seen much of a result. Lately, I have found myself turning to natural remedies to supplement the Taz. I just read a story about someone that was cleared from adding baking soda to their regimen, and that sent me flying into the pantry to try some for myself. I must say, that within the first use, my skin felt considerable better. It felt more soft and nicely exfoliated. I left it on for 10 minutes and did not notice any burning (I wouldn't say my skin is super sensitive, but I have experienced burning with other products i.e. Mint Jeulep Mask) only a slight tingleing sensation. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Pros:

Works really, really well. Very noticeable results with the first use.

Cons:

None so far!

It cleared my pimples (Mostly, I'll keep using it!), it kind of "bleached" my scars, so they're not noticeable now, and cleared redness. I mixed a bit of it with water, and rubbed it on my face as a paste. Washed it off an hour later. It's great!

Pros:

i have been using baking soda for i day and i have noticed that all the red spots that i used to have from trying to pop pimples are no longer on my face. and all the really small pimples have disappeared. and it fells great.

Cons:

i have read many things that people have put in this and they say it burns/stings. but im 12 and it never did that to me. i dont have acne really bad but i would like to get rid of most or all of it.

im 12, and we all have a crushes and so on. so all of u kno what its lik to lik a guy/girl and not want them to see ur acne. its imbarrasing. and it feels amazing to have smooth fresh skin. i myself have used many face creams and all that. THEY DONT WORK. u waste ur money on things that make ur face break out even more and way worse than what it did to start with. and for ur info proative doesnt work. my mom has used it for so many years. it dosent make a dif. and if u stop using for even a week it comes back really fast and worse than ever. she has wasted so much money. she finally stop in '07. and i wanted to try it. it works for a small period of time but it comes right back. DONT USE PROACTIVE. its just lik all of the other scames on the TV or computer u see. and the same thing with all those advertisments that give u a week trail of food that let u eat what u want without getting fat.
