Pros:

gets rid of black heads!! :D

Cons:

it burns if left on for a while but you get used to it

i have had severe acne since i was 12. i have come across 2 things that work extremly well. 1) dead sea mud 2) baking soda dead sea mud is very expensive but it dries out white head ver very well. baking soda clears the black heads and leaves skin soft and smooth. i recommend a mask of mud at night and a baking soda wash in the morning. it really helps.

Pros:

brightens face!!!!

Cons:

dries out skin-use a moisturizer

i love baking soda for my face. i mix it with warm water and then put it all over my face and wait 10-15 min. It dries onto your face making a mask type thing. When you rinse it off your skin feels soft and looks noticeably brighter. It also makes your skin less red. I'm not sure how well it works for acne, since i just started using it.

Pros:

Very simple, cheap, works well

Cons:

If you scrub too hard, you could make a sore on your face. I've got a scab on my nose

It works. It made my skin feel so amazing and smooth and my pores were tighter.

Pros:

It is dirt cheap and it leaves your skin refreshed!

Cons:

It is a bit overdrying but only if you leave it on for more than 5 min.

I never knew something I had in my fridge to keep it smelling clean would help my really BAD acne. It has no side effects what so ever and it even helps with evening out my skin tone. Also, if you have back acne, it works just as good. You just have to make it pastier in the shower and leave it on for about 10 to 15 minutes. You will notice a diff in about a week or so. LOVE this stuff.....who knew?!

Pros:

Did do something, will continue of its price.

Cons:

It burns, becomes red for an hour also a more expensive cream would be better.

It's nice to try and it does do something.

Pros:

Can't get any cheaper than this! It seems to be the only thing that works, too. Makes my skin super soft.

Cons:

Nothing, besides tasting a bit funky (but it's still better than if you get some of those other ones too close to your mouth).

Now that I've told people I'm having a baby, everyone seems to be an expert on every aspect of my life, but this advice I am glad to get. I had to stop taking Retin-A because of possible side effects and that on top of hormones has made my face crazy. A girl a work told me she just keeps a box in the shower and when she washes her face she dips her fingers in the box and scrubs her face. I decided to try it a few days ago and boy is my face soft! Already the redness is going away and my acne is getting smaller. I've always had a problem with redness long after the actual zit is gone but I think I'm winning that battle with a combo of baking soda and Aveeno's Calming moisterizer. I've been plagued with bad skin since the college stress kicked in a few years ago but have been wary of using harsh chemicals on my face. This is about as natural and good for you as they come. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Pros:

Inexpensive, it works!!!! Clears blackheads, fewer pimples, softer skin.

Cons:

can burn

I mix it with a Salicylic Acid wash and scrub gently 2x a week. Excellent results. Wash off well with warm then cool water. Use a good moisturizer after. Why buy expensive, fancy label brands when this is so good and cheap?

Very helpful

Pros:

Affordable!
Works great
Works fast

Cons:

Burns a little bit especially if zit is open. But this doesn't not bother me much. My mother always said beauty hurts! :)

I personally don't have anything with sensitive skin but the best part about this is you can find it in most homes as don't have to ask your parents for money. Use it as a spot treatment as wear it over night. It decreases pimple size significantly!
