Pros:

great exfoliant, tight pores, scars less noticable

Cons:

itchy while drying :(

It worked pretty well, I made amask from egg whites and b aking soda and applied for about ten minutes. It itched and irritated scabs so I would not reccommend putting it on healing areas but other than that it worked great. I put it on for ten minutes before bed and when I washed it off nothing looked that different but the next morning my slin still felt soft and refreshed, some of my major scars had faded and it was like my pores werent even there, you could barely even see them, a vast improvement!

Pros:

Cleared my skin more than anything else. MUST USE FOR ATLEAST A WEEK!!!!

Cons:

Stings a bit but that goes away after a few days.

I didnt give this enough time on my first review. After a little over a week, I can confidently say that my skin is looking clearer than it has in a while. I am also getting compliments from family and friends on how much better my skin is looking. I think the key is not to give up on it after just a few days, my skin looked the same if not worse after the first few days, but I continued and got great results. I mix with water then leave it on for about 5 minutes or until dry. Give it a try, if it worked for me it can work for anybody.

Pros:

It really seemed to expedite the break-out process.

Cons:

I have combination skin, so the drier areas burned a lot while the stuff was on my face. It's still the night of application, but I'm sure my lotion will take care of that. There's a lot of redness and a lot of white-heads.

Usually I'll get little bumps under the skin and within about a week and a half-ish they will have grown and developed whiteheads. I started to get the bumps2-3 days ago, and after I used this scrub, I had white heads on most of the little bumps...It pretty much dried up my skin-which I like It looks horrible now, but I know tomorrow morning it'll be much better, and hopefully my skin will have cleared within a week, as opposed to two to three with my regular face soap/salicylic acid toner regimine. I used baking soda made into a paste w/ hydrogen peroxide, applied it all over my face, and tried to work it gently into the skin, more so in the problem areas. I left it on for an extra min. or two and rinsed it off. Then I added some salt to the paste that I had left over (for its drying/exfoliating/healing properties) and did the same ting again-I can see it working instantly, but I wouldn't do it in the morning because of the redness and irritation.

Pros:

Easy, cheap, makes skin very soft!

Have only tried washing with it once but it definitely left my skin feeling soft. I mixed it with cetaphil cleanser. I also used a lot of moisturizer afterwards because my skin has been dry lately from using apple cider vinegar. Things are improving, I'll keep it up!

Pros:

Effective, very cheap, easy

Cons:

Itches while on face, crumbles off on everything when dry

I've been using baking soda as a mask for about five months, every few days, and I love it. Combined with the daily routine recommended on this site, it's miraculous. However, my skin is very strong and not at all sensitive, but if yours is, leave it on only a few minutes before washing off.

Pros:

Reduced Redness
Made Skin Feel Smoother
Dried Up Pimples

Cons:

Made Skin VERY Dry (You Must Moisturize after)
Stings and smells a bit
Messy

It's messy, it stings and it's a lot of work. But it gets the job done fast. I mixed some baking soda with warm water and a bit of honey. Made it into a thick paste by adding more baking soda. Applied it over my whole face for 10 min (Until it was dry) I rinsed off with warm water. My skin feels better, and redness went away and overall it made me have more clearer looking skin. Try it.
