Pros:

- uses as a scrub it gets rid of most dead skin
- mixed with water and used as a paste spot treatment it dries out zits
- really inexpensive

Cons:

- can be TOO drying
- can casue mild irritation, so dont use it before going out

I use it every other night as a scrub and it gives me better results than other scrubs for acne. I also use it as a spot treatment. Mix baking soda and water, apply to zit, stick a band-aid on it over night and in the morning rinse! it can be pretty drying so you should experiment with your own skin, but I will say I do have sensitive skin and some acne medications irritate my skin alot more than baking soda

Pros:

It took out some or most of my blackheads on my nose.

Cons:

It burned and made my skin a little dry.

This is good for treating blackheads not pimples. This is meant for blackheads not pimples.

Pros:

smooths skin, easy to use, exfoliates, very cheap, works!

Cons:

burns a little

After reading some posts, I started using it as a mask- leave it on for 20min then rinse. BAD IDEA. It burned like hell and my face was so red afterward. I stopped using it but I started again a few days ago. Instead of leaving it on, I massaged it lightly into my face and then rinsed off right away. Followed with ACV and moisturizer. My face feels so much smoother and I haven't seen any new zits! Sweet! And my makeup goes on soooo smooth! I just want to touch my face! I'm waiting to see if my stupid blackheads will go away. The thing about baking soda: don't over do it. Once a day, no harsh scrubbing or leaving it on. Trust me, it will do its job.

Pros:

cheap

Cons:

little messy

using this product didn't not heal my acne by any means, but it shrinks my pores (if only temporarily) and makes my face feel very soft. i like to use it before putting make up on because it tightens my face and the make up goes on really smooth

Pros:

Works fantastically...for a day.

Cons:

My skin got used to it.

In one night of using it, I saw a complete change in my face. Literally murdered my whiteheads. Sadly, all the thought-to-be dead pimples came back within a day, and get no smaller, no matter how much friggin baking soda I put on them. I'd really only recommend this if your in a pinch, like the night before school pictures or something.

Pros:

-seems to exfoliate the skin well.
-doesn't seem to leave a vicious burn mark on my face like toothpaste even though it burns.
-exfoliates well when used properly.

Cons:

-burning sensation
-kind of annoying to mix it with water, but whatever it works.

Baking soda, also known as sodium bicarbonate is a salt everyone. Salt naturally exfoliates the skin although it can leave a red mark on your face that is only temporary for a few hours. If you swim in the ocean, you'd noticed that the salt water naturally exfoliates your skin as well and kills all the bacteria on your face that is causing your acne. If you want to think of it this way, using baking soda is pretty much like swimming in the ocean with relatively the same benefits. Its a really cheap yet effective tool for acne, and it 100% beats any acne product that exfoliates the skin that is 10 times the cost of this. Because it is also pure and not something man-made, there are no chemicals either which is a good sign for your body. This is my only first time using this so I will have to see after a few more trials how well this works. But after the first trial, you can definetly notice how well exfoliated your skin feels.

Pros:

I have alot of clogged pores and breakouts (thankfully not cystic)This is soothing and very helpful for my breakouts. I get reactions from every commercial product. It breaks down oil and my skin is much less clogged and irritated!

Cons:

It burns a little if you use it as a scrub everyday. usually ,I dissolve it in a small amount of water and apply it as i would any other cleanser.

Try it if your skin is breakout prone, yet super sensitive. If it doesn't work for you breakouts, it doubles as an awesome deodorant!

Pros:

Helps treat the acne better than any other products that I have ever used.

Cons:

Dries out the face>

I didn't know that you could use it as a scrub but I tried it and It worked. Even though it dries out my skin. So I use a gentle lotion. Hope it works for you!
