I'm in my late 30's and have been suffering since my teen years. I was reading some of the posts on this site earlier tonight and just had to try this. So I went out and got me some baking soda and mixed it with lemon juice instead of water. I made a very thin paste and left it on for about 30 minutes. I had a mild tingling when it was drying but I LOVED the feel of my skin when I washed it off. My skin felt very dry when I washed and blotted dry my skin and I had also read that olive oil is a great natural moisturizer so I put that on as well. I also read that you should change your pillow case often. So I am trying all these things at once and I am hoping that the combination will be a winner for my long suffering. so here goes.

It works great but Use with cautions
Has anyone experienced pinkish skin it totally clears your skin within a month of consistent use but it's left me with pinkish skin anyone know how long it takes to subsided? I came back to this to help people i feel like i owe to other suffers because i hated life during the time i had severe acne so i came to say after washing with it your face will be red compensate by applying aloe vera from a leaf for 10 minutes wash off and apply coconut oil for a few hours and wash off and apply lotion ..me personally i sleep with it on some people it clogs there pores but i dont feel like that and thats that im a very oily person all this will help the proccess. Eggg white mask !! They help as well

Pros:

Gets rid of acne
QUICK FIX
soft smooth skin

Cons:

Dry Skin
Stings

It gets rid of acne fast, like if you need to go to some occasion soon or something. And its cheap and fast RECOMMENDATION: not that i have tried it yet, but i think next time, don't add too much baking soda? cause that would really make your skin dry. i guess add a little more honey to thicken it? so that way it is still a paste, but not mostly from baking soda. AND ALSO... don't let the baking soda dry up completely, because that would be flaky and messy and (probably) when it begins to dry up your skin most. SO AFTER, use moisturizer immediately, something acidic/higher in pH to balance the baking soda which has low pH. OR.. I've done some research, but try a sea salt solution (cleanser) right after to balance the acidity again. The sea salt solution also helps treat the acne, not to mention balance out the pH again, so win-win situation i guess. TRYYYYYY IT.

Pros:

Cheap. Cleared up pimples along my forehead.Left my skin very smooth.

Cons:

A little bit of redness. A little bit of stinging. I have sensitive skin so it was a little dry,but I dabbed on some cocoa butter.

I love it. it was my first time trying the treatment. I will most definately tell my friends and continue to use it myself. As I mentioned before I have sensitive skin,so I will use it every other day. But overall I love the effect and I am randomly rubbing my skin as I'm typing it feels so smooth.

Pros:

dries up pimples, gets rid of dead skin, and has even gotten rid of some of my blackheads!

Cons:

leaves skin red and a little dry, but the redness only stays for a few minutes, and putting on moisturizer after keeps skin from getting to dry.

It works! Does more then I actually expected it to. I say only do this every other week, because its pretty strong stuff and might irritate your skin. My skin gets extra dry in the winter, so i do it every week then, but only every other week in the other seasons. And, it's super cheap!

Pros:

dries up pimples and removes scars with persistent usage.

Cons:

might sting a little if the powder comes in contact with yr lips.
might be drying for ppl with dry skin.

i usually use the baking soda at the end of the day when i bath (where my skin the the oilest then..).. i mixed it with water, SLATHER them on my face and leave it on for 2 min. i've got visible pores and realised that they are a lil enlarged when i SCRBBED the powder solution on my face. after rinsing them off, 90% of the oil are washed off! then i would only use a drip or 2 of my TTO cleansing gel from TSB to wash off the dirt and baterial on my face. *after 3 weeks of usage once per day, i realised that some of my acne marks were gone totally!! Such a cheap product that works amazingly! *u would need a good moisturizer after the wash, no matter if u have dry or oily skin.i'm using neutrogena oil free spf 15 moisturizer.

Pros:

GREAT for cleanser and a smooth face. I have acne scars and oily skin. It seems to reduce the appearance of scars and controls the oil for a longer period of time!

Cons:

Irritates a little so dont use it everyday if you have sensitive skin. Use it every 2 or 3 days...but its worth it really!

Its cheap AND effective! Go out and TRY IT!!
