A little nervous...
Ok, I have super sensitive skin. I've tried everything from Proactiv, Proactiv plus, Aspirin masks, you name it... I came across the baking soda and coconut oil face wash/mask. I decided to try it. now, I do have dry skin and was a little nervous about this one. I didn't want my face breaking out anymore than it has. i did the 2:1 ratio. 2 teaspoons coconut oil (organic) and 1 teaspoon baking soda. I used it as a face wash rather than a mask. After I washed it off I was feeling a little nervous but decided to wait until the next morning. The next day I looked in the mirror and WOW! My face was smooth, and my pores were already starting to shrink. I was so surprised! I have awful acne on my forehead and around my chin. Definitely helped. I wouldn't use this everyday but maybe 2 or 3 times a week. :D Hope that helps!!

i used to have the worst acne ever but i went to the dermotologist and got retin-a micro, ampicillin and pan oxyl. i would use those products as prescribed and after a month of decent results i added this and honey to my regimen. it took all summer but i went from having more acne pimples than i can count(i counted 100 and gave up because i only counted on a qaurter of my face) to now having 1 to 2 on a normal day, when i break out like i am now which is not very common for me anymore i have 4 to 5(small and hard to notice tho thanks to this stuff) so basically this stuff works use it at night than put on honey over night after bs application

I recommend it to people who have oily skin. If you have dry skin, I only recommend you use this once every two days.

softer skin

Cons:

burns like HELL

I have very little acne, but just enough to bother me and make me feel less confident. i use this to get that clear airbrushed look on my face. i use the b. soda and leave it on for less than 5 min. was it off with hot hot hot water and a wash cloth. afterward i close my pores with lemon juice dabbed on with a paper towel. this seems to work good. i also use a few differnt other products, just a face wash i use every morning right when i get up and the at night before bed. i will also use toothpaste on a zit, just a little dab right before i go to bed and wash it off in the morning. this seems to be good!

Pros:

Fades scars
Made skin less oily
Practically in every home
Very Inexpensive

Really great for oily skin. It doesn't dry skin too much, though moisturizer can help. Be sure to have enough water mixed in otherwise it feels a bit abrasive.

I LOVE baking soda. Before I used this, my acne was moderate. I got the occasional pimples around my face and I would freak whenever I see them. I lost confidence and I would always try to hide my face. I would search all over the internet for helpful tips on how to get rid of them, that's when I found baking soda. I have been using it every other day for about a month now, and I can easily say that the severity of my acne went from moderate to moderate-light. It's a miracle, it truly is. I only get major pimples like 2-3 times a month and they end up healing in about 2-3 days. My face has never looked better *knock on wood. What I do is: After washing my face in the shower with St. Ives Apricot Scrub (I use this scrub every morning and night) Get a bowl with some baking soda. Put a little bit of honey in the mix. Then add a few drops of water to make a paste. GENTLY rub it on your skin avoiding the eye area. Leave it on your skin for about 10-15 minutes or until dry. Then finally wash it off with warm water. After all of that I cut and rub a piece of fresh aloe plant on my face and use Neosporin as a spot treatment. It's really amazing. I can go on and on for days about baking soda, but it would be best for you to try it yourself. Good Luck!
