Pros:

very visible result! cheap!

Cons:

none

wow yest was my first attempt of using this. Was very skeptical at first and I also worried it will irritate my face. Hence,I started the allergy test on my hand and neck for 5mins and everything was fine:p I mixed 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of water, this is for the cleansing. After my face was cleansed, I mixed 2 tablespoon of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of water to make the paste then apply on those acne spots I was worried as my face looked very red after I washed it off but this morning when I woke up, I was amazed by the results! Wow, just one use, my face looked brighter and some of the marks have been lightened! AMAZING

Pros:

There are many pros to this alternative (Which shouldn't be called an alternative but rather a treatment on its own). Redness has really slowly "crept" away. Blackheads faded. Pimples halting. Beautiful skin. Excellent exfoliant. Cheap.

Cons:

Sorta stings your face if you are not used to it. Salty, don't get it around your mouth line.

This was interesting, I must admit. My face is extremely severe, cysts rose to pickers acne to blackheads and white papules, you name it. I had it. This is miraculous. I tried ProActive, Clean and CLear, Neutragena, AcneFree, you name it. I used them for a good 4 months at a itme, just to have my face half clear. I used this product with Apple Cidar vinegar to even out the PH value of the product on my skin. My face is now almost clear. I use this solution in small amounts and I'm gradually getting to use a mask in about a week. I use this one to two times daily, depending on how oily my face is. I ingest Apple Cidar Vinegar and put some on my face (beware, You'll smell like sock, be careful). The solution is diluted, and i'm SLOWLY and GRADUALLY going to more potent solutions via water. For TREATMENT I use Green Tea Extract as a spritz on my face with water. For Moisturizer, I have not found one yet. My intake of water is drastically improved to 6 glasses per day. Getthatbloodpumping!

Pros:

Very simple, cheap, works well

Cons:

If you scrub too hard, you could make a sore on your face. I've got a scab on my nose

It works. It made my skin feel so amazing and smooth and my pores were tighter.

Pros:

Did do something, will continue of its price.

Cons:

It burns, becomes red for an hour also a more expensive cream would be better.

It's nice to try and it does do something.

Pros:

cheap
simple

Cons:

slight irritation

baking soda and mixed with a little water works like a charm. the first few times using this really made my face red and burned, but after a few uses it wasnt a problem anymore. i found this to be really helpful for the acne on my neck and shoulders. ***for sensitive skin- do not leave it on your skin for more than a few minutes! baking soda is sooo cheap, just give it a try!

Heyy guys!!!lol My first review so I hope yall like it. I actually was googling baking soda uses and found this site, so I decided to try it and join this site just to join in! I read some reviews and people said that it made their skin smooth and faded their dark spots but I didnt believe them. Let me tell you, my skin was BABY SOFT! It felt sooo smooth I couldnt believe it. Your face will defitnitly feel clean! As far as the dark spots, I can't really tell because this is my 2nd day using it. But I hope to continue to use it, not sure if we can edit and update our posts but I think yall should try it, especially because its soo cheap! My regimen is as follows. I wash my face in the morning with Ambi complexion soap, then I use my Benzoyl Peroxide 10% solution, then I use the baking soda to finish. I moisturize with Aveeno Salycic Acid Moisturizer. At night time, after washing away my makeup, I use the Ambi soap again, then I use my St. Ives Apricot Scrub, then use the baking soda again, then I put Vitamin E oil on my face and add a bit of cocoa butter. also a lot of people said that their pores were smaller after using it, I didnt see that, my pores are huge and this didnt help. Like I said this is only my 2nd day, so who knows whats to come. Also, please remember to rinse well, my first time, I didnt rinse well and there was a white line on my face. Baking soda makes your skin very dry so please remember to moisturize immediatly after. I have dry skin, so its ok to use this if u have sensitive skin or eczema, just moisturize! :)
