great
This is great if you have breakouts and you are looking for a cheap and effective way to treat your skin. i use one pill mixed with a little water & abit of honey to keep it gentle enough for frequent use. Doesn't dry my skin out this way, and I'm not worried about overdoing it on the aspirin.

Pros:

helped my acne so much
gets rid of red spots and blemishes
gets rid of pimples and blackheads
prevents new acne from forming
exfoliates my skin and it's not rough like other exfoliating products
makes skin smooth and soft
so cheap!

Cons:

dries out my skin a bit the first day i actually do the mask but everything goes back to normal a day or two after. plus, moisturizer can help the dryness.

THIS STUFF SAVED MY LIFE! i had such low self esteem because of my bad acne and red marks. i was so self-conscious but this stuff saved me. my skin is now touchable and less red. it helped me so much. it might not work for everybody but it is definitely worth a try! i still get acne because my skin is acne prone but this definitely helps soooo much! i use it once a week and use about 3/4 aspirins with water each time.

Pros:

Cheap, simple, and pretty fast results

Cons:

Face can feel kinda raw when you wash it off, depending on how well you were able to crush the aspirin

It's very helpful. If I have a zit with no head, just a bump that won't go down, this'll do it. I just mix it with something that'll help it stick (like hydrocortisone), and put it on over night. Usually gone in like 2-3 days if I do that every night

Pros:

I read that the active ingredient in aspirin is salicylic acid (beta hydroxyl acid) which only dissolves in oil- unlike the alpha hydroxy acid in prescribed acne stuff. So to use it as a facial peel I mixed the crushed aspirin with a little water and then mixed it with olive oil. The oil is very soothing and mayb eit is as good as a moisturiser. I'm hoping it will peel the scaly stuff that is emerging after the benzoyl peroxide cream I've been using.

Cons:

I haven't really used it long enough to find out if it reduces the angry red bumps on my chin. After trying the cleansing/benzoyl peroxide/moisurising regimen for a week I'm not sure if anything is really working. If I don't see results in another week I'm off to a dermatologist.
Maybe I don't have acne - maybe it's perioral dermatitis, menopausal acne, rosacea etc etc

Worth a go!

Pros:

-feels absolutely smoother after wash off
-cheap
-works!

Cons:

-a little messy

I have been doing this now for a month and the change is so significant! I have pimples popping up like crazy ugh! but once I discovered this I can not live without. Became a little obsessed, was doing the mask everyday but realized your skin will get immune to it (and not work as effectively) so you should try every other day or just a couple times a week depending how you skin reacts. If your skin is dry already and you just want it to take effect on your acne just put it on and wash off and dont rub the little aspirin beads into your skin. Make sure to leave it on your face for minimum of 20 mins.

Pros:

- reduces redness and size
- works as an exfoliator
- makes skin soft and smooth
- helps visibly infected pores

Cons:

- hard to apply because its grainy
- messy

Aspirin works so well on inflamed pimples because it helps to calm it down :) I did have one that was coming (could feel it and it was red that area) and I put aspirin on it last night and this morning I could still see it but the bump was somewhat reduced. When its time to wash off it acts as a great exfoliator, so basically this mask leaves your skin less infected, less red and smoother :)

Pros:

Shrinks pimples
Reduces clogged pores
Makes skin feel smooth

Cons:

Messy
SNEEZE!!!

I use this as a scrub and as a mask. Well, I was using this daily as a scrub, as my skin is very oily. During this time, my acne was very limited. However, I got some face wash from a friend I decided to try for awhile in it;s place.. disaster! More pimples than ever. I finally figured out it MUST be the lack of the aspirin in my regime a month into this acne disaster, and it's finally calming down. I've been putting the masks on my cysts, and it shrinks them a lot. Usually they last for a few weeks. One was popping up and now it's barely noticeable. :)

Can be useful.
Oh, aspirin. This used to be the only thing that kept my skin clear. I would dissolve 5 or 6 uncoated tablets with enough water to make a thick paste and mix it with honey and leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes. Probably better for those who are dealing with redness/clogged pores and a few break outs here and there. Unfortunately for me, now that I'm 23, my skin has been doing some weird stuff and this no longer helps with my breakouts, which tend to be deep, under the skin cysts. It's worth a try. See how it works for you. :)

For these deep cyst like acne lesions use peppermint oil.

good to try
It works. I dissolve it in 2 drops of water and apply it on blemishes. It really helps inflammation and helps them heal. I really like it.
