great
This is great if you have breakouts and you are looking for a cheap and effective way to treat your skin. i use one pill mixed with a little water & abit of honey to keep it gentle enough for frequent use. Doesn't dry my skin out this way, and I'm not worried about overdoing it on the aspirin.

Pros:

helped my acne so much
gets rid of red spots and blemishes
gets rid of pimples and blackheads
prevents new acne from forming
exfoliates my skin and it's not rough like other exfoliating products
makes skin smooth and soft
so cheap!

Cons:

dries out my skin a bit the first day i actually do the mask but everything goes back to normal a day or two after. plus, moisturizer can help the dryness.

THIS STUFF SAVED MY LIFE! i had such low self esteem because of my bad acne and red marks. i was so self-conscious but this stuff saved me. my skin is now touchable and less red. it helped me so much. it might not work for everybody but it is definitely worth a try! i still get acne because my skin is acne prone but this definitely helps soooo much! i use it once a week and use about 3/4 aspirins with water each time.

Pros:

-feels absolutely smoother after wash off
-cheap
-works!

Cons:

-a little messy

I have been doing this now for a month and the change is so significant! I have pimples popping up like crazy ugh! but once I discovered this I can not live without. Became a little obsessed, was doing the mask everyday but realized your skin will get immune to it (and not work as effectively) so you should try every other day or just a couple times a week depending how you skin reacts. If your skin is dry already and you just want it to take effect on your acne just put it on and wash off and dont rub the little aspirin beads into your skin. Make sure to leave it on your face for minimum of 20 mins.

Pros:

Shrinks pimples
Reduces clogged pores
Makes skin feel smooth

Cons:

Messy
SNEEZE!!!

I use this as a scrub and as a mask. Well, I was using this daily as a scrub, as my skin is very oily. During this time, my acne was very limited. However, I got some face wash from a friend I decided to try for awhile in it;s place.. disaster! More pimples than ever. I finally figured out it MUST be the lack of the aspirin in my regime a month into this acne disaster, and it's finally calming down. I've been putting the masks on my cysts, and it shrinks them a lot. Usually they last for a few weeks. One was popping up and now it's barely noticeable. :)

No problems here!
I have a terrible habit of popping pimples for too long. I just sit at my mirror and pick away at the smallest blemishes and then all of the sudden my whole face is red. This is obviously my fault lol. So at night, after my pimple fest is over, I only crush up one Aspirin with a few drops of water & do a spot treatment on my redness. After about 30 minutes, I rinse it off with hot water and then again with cold water. If anyone is expecting Kim Kardashian skin afterwards, you're a silly goose. In conclusion: for me, the redness goes away completely, and my pimple is usually gone/tamed by morning.

Pros:

Leaves skin clean and soft. It gets rid of pimples over time, it won't get rid of it in a day.

Cons:

It dries easily.

Its great! I still have pimples but its way better than before. Use HONEY IT! It lets it stick better and honey is good for your skin. DO NOT use it everyday but once or twice a week because you have a higher chance to get sunburned.

Super Aspirin Mask recipe
I tried an aspirin mask for the first time several months ago and loved the effect: reduces redness, deflates existing acne, preventative. I've incorporated it into a mask I already use that I find to be good for acne, and I wanted to share the recipe: 1) Combine an egg white (tightening) and a few drops of eucalyptus and tea tree oil in a bowl. If you'd like, whip it for a few minutes to thicken the egg white. 2) Crush a clove of garlic (I use a mortar and pestle) with powdered aspirin (I use Goody's powder aspirin with caffeine) 3) Combine the two in a container you can refrigerate. Add a tsp of honey (anti-bacterial) 4) If you'd like to thicken it for a nicer mask consistency, add up to 2 tsp of pectin (the kind of you don't need to heat) and let sit for 30 minutes. Advisory: Make sure to refrigerate this, because of the egg. I'm not sure how long it lasts but certainly don't go past 2 weeks with it in the fridge, and try to use it in a week. The crushed garlic lets off some fiesty fumes, and on the whole, the combo of egg, garlic and tea tree oil makes this a rather stinky mask. The smell washes off, but I have to keep my eye closed for a few minutes while this is on until the garlic fumes air off. I use this time to do some stretches :) I leave this on for about 15 minutes. I like using this mask all over the face because it both spot treats and helps to stave off any latent breakouts. This is a lifesaver for me when I'm ovulating or am pre-menstrual.

Pros:

- VERY CHEAP
- make pimples gone
- contain salicylic acid
- makes skin feel soft
- get rid of blemishes (little bit)

Cons:

NOTHING!

this is how i do it! 1. i clean my face with proativ cleaner 2. I apply the mask Ingredients: - 3 to 5 aspirins (it really depends on you) - couple drops of honey - tiny bit of water, just to dissolve the aspirin Procedure: Dissolve the aspirins with tiny bit of water (i use a teaspoon), crush the aspirins, add couple drops of honey, mix it together, apply on face, leave for 10-15 mins., pat your face with some water and start to exfoliate(the aspirins have tiny beads) for 5-10 seconds, rinse ot off, pat your face with a clean towel (do not rub!) 3. I apply my proactiv toner 4. If i have a zit (or zits) i dab proativ mask on the pimple. Trust me it works really well. 5. I use proativ oil-free moisturizer. Then you're done! :) Im a fan of proativ btw.
