Pros:

Makes skin super smooth and brings acne flares down.

Cons:

Can be over-drying if used too much or too long on sensitive skin.

The salicylic acid in the aspirin is what does the trick. I've really come to love this treatment. :)

Pros:

?

Cons:

Nausea

I think I'm the only person I've seen who has had this problem. Maybe I just have a really sensitive stomach (Minocycline made me supersick too), but aspirin--even topically--made me feel sooo sick. I was really excited to try this--cheap, good revies, etc. After my first application, I became sooo nauseous. I didn't initially connect the dots, but after my second application and another round of nausea, I realized that this was really affecting me. I'm glad it works for others, though!

Pros:

reduces the redness of pimple
helps with blemishes

Cons:

nada

Just started using it, I only use 2 tablets of asprin, a dab of water and I put a little aloe vera gel on my finger and barley go over when I put the asprin on my face. Works really well and very cheap to buy. every 6 months am only out for aloe vera gel, asprin- that goes a long way...

Pros:

Its very cheap!
Near instant results!

Cons:

?

I just tried it for the first time today after reading about all the rave reviews that the Aspirin mask got. But, I must say, you do get almost an instant difference, whether it lasts or not, thats a good question. I have incredibly oily skin on my face that Im trying to combat with Diane 35. But while I was waiting for Diane to kick in, I decided to use the mask. It helps if you have a little water in a bowl and then add the Aspirin. You'll find that the Aspirin will dissolve in like 10-20 seconds and its much easier to crush. More than anything else though, it does minimize your pores!

My face broke out a few week ago, and i have tried everything nothing worked. So yesterday i decided that i couldn't live with this acne more bought a bottle of aspirin. I tried the mask yesterday and this morning i woke up the acne has dried alot, I will continue to do this until everything is gone. My face has never broken out until i started to use facial products. After my face heal i will stop using all facial product except for my cetapil wash and moisturizer.

Pros:

Works great when used consistently, face texture is much smoother, diminished blackhead & whiteheads, reduces redness, shortens length of pimples,

Cons:

You have to use constantly, if I forget one day I will break out

I'm almost 30 and have been battling severe acne since puberty. I have tried every over-the-counter thing you can think of. I've been on antibiotics and other perscribed medications. ASPRIN IS A MUST TRY! The only thing to ever slightly work for me was a Biore scrub with 2% salicylic acid. I was on acne.org searching for yet another remedy when I saw great reviews for Asprin. I was suprised to find out that salicylic acid is Asprin. The 2% put in some over-the-counter wash is equivalent to about 1/2 a baby asprin. I just needed a stronger dose. I put 6 to 8 asprins and a few drops of water in my hand. After a few seconds they will get soft enough to mush easily making a paste. I mix with my Biore scrub and scrub my face gently. I do this morning and night. As long as I use a moist. after I never have a probably with dryness. I'm not totally blemish free but I don't get as many and when I do they don't last as long. I also don't get those huge under the skin ones anymore! GIVE IT A TRY!

Pros:

Great for oily skin, works better than expensive treatments, and it is better than anything a dermatologist has done for me. I can get a bottle of 200 for $1.00 at the dollar store.

Cons:

Messy and makes you sneeze

I usually wash my face with a cleanser and then take about 10 aspirin in the palm of my hand and pour a small amount of warm water on them to dissolve the aspirin. Next, I mix the aspirin with a cheap over the counter face mask and let it sit on my face for 10 minutes and rinse. By mixing it with the mask, it tends to stay on my face longer and not flake off.

Pros:

Very cheap and easy to make paste.

Cons:

No noticeable changes.

This DID NOT work for me at all. I would have gotten the same results by just leaving my face alone. The redness was still there and maybe even redder the next morning. Ill try it again in a couple days. It also didnt shrink any of my pimples. After doing this, Ive literally tried everything but Accutane...Im so sick of this.
