Aspirin Mask

I have a ton of acne and have had it for over 7 years now. A few weeks ago, I looked up the aspirin mask and the ingredients and decided what the heck. Wow. In just two weeks, my skin looks so much better. I had gone home mid-August, pre aspirin mask, and returned last weekend, where my family noticed a huge difference. My skin feels so much better, looks more even, and reduces zit size. I just take three non-coated aspirin in a soup spoon, add a dime size amount of honey, and a few drops of water, wait for it to dissolve and put it on my face. I leave it on for about 15 minutes and then exfoliate it off. I do this every 2 to 3 days in place of my usual cleanser at night.

This is by no means a miracle mask but you can definitely see improvement after the first mask. I take between 5-10 aspirin tablets with a few drops of water and let them dissolve. I then mix in a little honey for the hydrating effects and because honey contains glycolic acid, and also some sour cream because it contains lactic acid. Yogurt works too, I just figured sour cream probably has more lactic acid in it since it has been soured. I then leave it on for 30 minutes and then gently exfoliate as I remove it. Try it, you will fall in love with it too!

I have suffered from a very severe form of acne for years now and nothing has worked with much consistency. The RX's out there just wouldn't work. I came across this when researching black eye cures for a friend and decided to try it. My skin hasn't looked this good in over ten years! I vary of my mixture from what I've read...I use castor oil, honey, flax seed, and mix these with the aspirin. I found that the most pleasant result came from crushing the aspirin and flax seed using a mortar and pestle then adding in the "wet" ingredients in equal pasts. It's great and none drying when mixed with the caster oil (which is packed with omega 3 and 6). Bottom line, if you are like me... there wasn't anything else that worked... what do you have to lose but the blemishes??

TRY IT. after using this noxema was in june, my face was a mess, my cheeks HURT from all the huge red pimples. there was a point where i didnt even want to go out. my doctor gave me a prescription topical gel erythromycin which took away most of the huge pimples but i still had a BUNCH of tiny pimples under the skin which WOULD NOT go away. i tried the aspirin mask and now my skin is completely clear except for one pimple i picked at, and the ones of my forehead which are only there cause of the oil from my hair. TRY IT. you will LOVE IT.

I have a big event to go to TONIGHT and I had the two biggest pimples. I just happened to come across this page by chance, I did it, and the pimples are SIGNIFICANTLY smaller now! I didn't add the honey; instead I just crushed up a couple aspirin pills, added some hot water, rubbed on my face, and let dry for about half an hour. The pimples are pretty much gone now! Thank you to whoever came up with this idea!

Cheap and if used properly as well as drinking lots of water regularly, it "does what it says on the tin" :o)

I mix 2-3 dissolved aspirin with some honey and leave on my just-washed-face for 20-30 mins a night, and as I am washing the mask off I gently rub in circles as an exfoliator for my skin. The immediate result is baby soft texture and the next morning my bumps have visibly reduced. After two months of this I am definitely sold, it works wonders and I wish I knew about it years ago.

I woke up one morning with really ugly bumps on my face and it's not acne, they're not even red, they're just a bunch of bumps even on my forehead, so I panicked and tried washing my face several times daily, nothing works, and I found this article and comments about the aspirin mask so I went to the store and bought a bottle with 100 tablets for $1.99. I put on the mask as soon as I got home and then once more before I went to bed, when I woke up in the morning, my face was back to the way it was, smooth and flawless, so now I am gonna be using this everyday. If you're gonna try it, just don't forget to put on moisturizer because it can be a bit drying.

I use this as a spot treatment everytime I pop a pimple because it gets rid of the swelling very, very quickly. If it's really swollen I let it fall off as it does when it dries after a few minutes, put a little more on the spot for 10-15 more minutes and the inflammation is completely gone by the time it's dry.

I love this mask! I use it once a week and my skin looks and feels great. I had a hard time dealing with acne and one day I found a video on aspirin mask on youtube, I thought it wouldn't work but i gave it a try. It worked!
