Pros:

Works fast

Cons:

made me sneeze alot when it dried out and started falling off

This is a very quick way to get rid of acne. The main ingredient that fights acne is ofcourse sylicilic acid, when you mix water into it, it undergoes hydrolosis and sylicilic acid is formed. I usually leave it on for thirty minutes and just wash it off. It reduces the redness and size dramatically.

Pros:

Cheap and easily accessible

Cons:

Unless you consider drippy honey to be a problem, I don't think there are any cons to this.

Definitely give this a lot of time. Be patient. My skin is a lot smoother than before and it has shrunken a few of my cystic pimples within a week of treatment. I still have pimples left, but my skin isn't as red as it used to be and I am a long-time sufferer of acne. If you find this too irritating, then jsut do it every other day. Or just use it as a spot treatment.

Pros:

totally reduces redness, swelling, pain, associated with breakouts

Cons:

kinda messy but well worth it

mixed a few aspirin tablets a few drops of water and some honey in a ziploc baggy. if you mix it with your fingers outside of the bag it dissolves super fast. Ive spent SO much money on stuff to treat acne, and nothing has worked as well as this. : )

Pros:

Aspirin, being the sole ingredient found in nearly all acne medications anyway, is almost magical.

Cons:

can it have any? ha, just don't do an aspirin mask more than once a day, it may thin the blood

Bottom line really is, aspirin is acne medication without the extra unnecessary ingredients. Companies put in scents, and other active ingredients that differentiates who their acne medication works for. Aspirin should help everyone, reducing redness and size of pores. Mix about 5 or 6 tablets with enough water to make a rather viscous mixture, too much water will make it runny and won't stay on the face very well. Some people use aloe vera or organic honey with the aspirin instead of water, but I just use water anyway. Apply entire affected area and leave on for about 15-20 minutes. Gently rinse off and admire your natural beauty. Use consistently every other day, and then onto every day after cleansing face with mild cleanser. Good luck!

Pros:

The first time you use it, you just feel awesome! I use it in the morning, and people noticed my skin was bright, and healthier right away!

Cons:

It's REALLY hard to get off. I had to use like, 3 cotton balls to get it all off.

So unbelievably cheap. You'd think, with people paying $25 for expensive things, 'cheaper is poorer' for acne. But really, people get so discouraged, they're willing to PAY all that, just so it GOES AWAY! This is a lifesaver. I swear, you haven't used this yet? Do it now, and whenever you look into a mirror, be happy for what you see. You don't need to be miserable anymore! This is a gift from the gods! lol

Pros:

Instant results, it's hard to believe!

Cons:

Powder tends to flake off on your clothes and skin.

Dirt cheap! I already had a big bottle of aspiran already in my cabinet and used it right away after reading all these blogs. I left it on my face for 45min and washed it off then applied moisturizer after and I notice it immediately!! Even when I woke up, it had seem to have disappeared. It's just unbelievable, I would really recommend this home product for sure.

Pros:

Inexpensive, immediately visible results, it's always 'fresh'and you know what you put in and it reduces redness.

Cons:

just like any other medicine, you have to use it for it to work, your skin can get a bit too dry.

It's an amazing mask and one of very few that truly work. I love it. Aspirin pills are cheap and easy to get. Using it for a quite a while, I have managed to work out the perfect Aspirin mask. What I usually do is: 1) Crash 1 Aspirin pill (500 mg- uncoated and 3 water dissolvable Aspirins(each 200mg). 2) Add 1 tea spoon of mineral water and mix it. One can also squirt a bit of lemon in it 3) Add 2 tea spoons of honey(I use forest honey) and mix it well! Put it on your face and leave it there for about 30-45 minutes. You can keep it in your refrigerator and use it for another 3 days.

Pros:

Works in minutes, cheap

Cons:

Itchy and flocky while on

Unreal results. I am 35 and have small skin colored bumps that appear and end up staying for weeks and months if I don't try and rid my face of them. acne comedonica i think it might be called. They are the bumps that have no head and are clogged pores under your skin surface. no redness or infection unless you mess with them. But ugly and making me feel older. The aspirin mask reduced them the first time i used it and now the 10th time they are almost gone...after over a year of struggling with them UNREAL!!! I want to tell everyone. I used a bunch of aspirin, honey and water.

Pros:

cheap, effective, simple to use, very portable and good for travelling, calms down pimples

Cons:

a little messy

I found that this actually softens my skin and isn't that drying. I use it alone (about 5 uncoated pills mixed with water) or add a little bit of honey or Cetaphil moisturizer for sticking power. Sometimes I add cinnamon which I heard is good for acne as (it actually stings). I leave it on anywhere from 5-30 minutes a few times a week then use it as a scrub while rinsing. You don't need to use facewash . Since using it, I've had very few large pimples or ones that come to a head. In combination with facials and some diet changes, I think my adult acne is finally under control! Maybe it's the change in weather, but I think my face is less oily too.
