Pros:

I'm nearly 40 and have developed more issues over the years.

I started using an aspirin paste years ago. It works well and can be used as a preventive.

I did find a work around for the abrasiveness of crushed tablets. I use Aspercream! It's not terribly expensive, lasts a long time and simply works for me. It's not smelly, either.

Cons:

Can be a bit greasy. I put it on overnight and wash my face before putting on my make-up. However, it's not excessively greasy.

Worth it - not abrasive or smelly. Convenient.

Pros:

Can be used as a spot treatment (haven't tried it as a face mask).
Reduces size and redness of pimple

Cons:

Takes a few days to work on big ones
Slight stinging at first (first few minutes).

I had a crazy cyst on my cheek that I thought would never go away. As soon as I saw the cyst forming, I mixed a little water with uncoated aspirin. I then dabbed the paste onto the cyst and let it sit there for a few hours. I did this for a few days. By each day the cyst got smaller and smaller. Now the cyst is flat. It formed into two pimples during the process, but these two pimples have been greatly reduced. I still have a slight redmark, but it's flat now.

Pros:

Flattens Pimples, Smooths, Tightens, And Some What Softens.

Cons:

Kind Of Crumbly.

Get A Small Bowl, Crush Up Four Or Five Asprin, Put A Little Warm Water In, Mix It And Put On Face For About Fifteen Minutes. After An Hour My Pimples And Zits Were Flat. Still Had The Color, But It Really Helped The Pain And Texture! Not To Mention The Tightened Cleanly Feeling After Wards.

Pros:

Reduces the red. Reduces inflamation. Smooth if u add honey.

Cons:

It made my face really dry once when I did it wrong. And I scratched some of the peeling skin and it feels Like a sunburn. Stinks when u put it on.

After I get out of the shower and my face is washed at night I dissolve 4 aspirin in a little plate with a little warm water. Then I scoop some honey up with my finger. (it has to be pure honey). And I mix it. It will look like a crumbly cream with a yellow tint. And put it all over ur face for 10-15 minutes. NO LONGER than 15. I lost track of time yesterday and left it on for 25 min. and that's wat caused my skin to try. Then I wash it on. And go to bed as soon as possible. The more sleep the better. I only get like 4 hours of sleep which sux.

Pros:

Inexpensive, better than most OTC meds, I've tried everything else, why not use it.

Cons:

A little messy, (trying to get the right consistency). As with anything you use, be careful using this for an extended period of time, (that kinda worries me).

I have been using this for only couple of weeks, twice a week, I did read alot of reviews of the honey/aspirin mask and decided to give it a try. I also have "hormonal" acne and it is very difficult to get rid of. the mask makes my skin smoother after using, I am going to continue using this regimen for another couple of weeks and see what happens, so far I am still "bumping up" I only have this severe problem on my cheeks and chin. The rest of my skin looks pretty good, as I said, I will give this another couple of weeks, and write back on results. I also using the phisoderm acne facial gel wash, dickerson witch hazel and( tea tree oil/vitamin E mixture) on a cotton ball, after I do the honey mask. It feels very soothing and calms down the pain of acne which I find very annoying. I also use a warm towel to my face for a few minutes on the new acne to reduce pain. The vitamin E oil I 've heard is good for acne scarring. I've even used PROACTIV, too expensive, and abrasive.

Pros:

acne was not as red.

Cons:

slightly stung me.
almost hurt to wash off.

I actually JUST got done washing the aspirin off my face and I can say right now, it kind of stings. I must say though, that the few pimples I have on my face are actually not as red and I have only used the aspirin idea once. I am sorry, I do not know how much I spent on the aspirin....it is old. =)

Pros:

doesn't smell.i like putting it on my face even if it's messy.reduces redness.reduces breakouts.....etc

Cons:

falls off.it fights scars slowly

i was on a routine for 3 weeks.i was using some other stuff but only aspirin had immediate results.i really don't understand why not to use it even 2 times per day every day and only some times a week? well i avoid dryness because i put castor oil and steam my face.when i stoped my routine i lived a small nightmare.redness and painfull breakouts everywhere...when i was putting aspirin no breakouts and redness to that area.after stopping it...you all know.i don't want to have any breakouts on my ''road'' because i m bored sick and have other problems to solve.life in not only acne.so i go back to aspirin and i hope it help me... i don't mix it with anything else but in might put honey.alone is perfect...

Pros:

reduce redness, bumps and big/small/white/black pimples, tighten pores, make skin color brghter, smoothe skin surface

Cons:

none

It really works for me!!! I've been having pimples for over 20 years, and my doctor told me I'm his worst case in his working history. Of course, I've tried everything you can name, but Aspirin mask is the best thing happened to my life! I'm using this everyday since I don't have sensitive skin. Please avoid your evey area. Don't get Aspirin from Costco because its coating is too thick and not water soluble. Good luck!

Pros:

It works great it helps get rid of your acne and helps smooth your skin well.

Cons:

Makes your skin dry and it smells kinda bad.

I take 2 aspirin tablets and smash it with a spoon then I put about 4 drops of water and 1 drop of honey this is a really easy natural way to get rid of your acne. And I just leave the mask on my facwe for about 10-20 minutes then I wash my fave with Cetaphil cleanser.

Pros:

Reduces redness, softens skin, makes skin glow.

Cons:

can be drying if used too often.

I use an aspirin mask once every two days leave it on for ten minutes, wash and then I moisturize with jojoba oil since it can be quite drying. It really reduces pimple and redness. Love it. I also notice my skin has a nice glow to it.
