Pros:

very cheap, instant results, reduces any redness, leaves skin feeling smooth - easy to do

Cons:

makes you sneeze a bit when it dries and the bits fall off!

i've tried everything under the sun and can't believe i haven't discovered this earlier - it really works, it's so cheap to do and it's better than any face mask or toning product o've found before

Pros:

Cheap, easy, works for whiteheads and blackheads

Cons:

doesn't do much for cysts

I had acne for years and still get pimples on my chin and the occasional cyst, but the worst part was the blackheads left on my nose and chin. Using ASA as a scrub and mask has dramatically reduced my blackheads. I'm still purging a bit, but I'm not getting any more (the blackheads have to go somewhere). It really does help with redness and pimples, and my chin is getting pretty clear (after a setback at that time of the month). I'm not sure how much it's helping with red 'scars'. When I started with this I had the most painful, swollen cyst between my eyes, and this brought down the swelling and redness, but I still have the cyst under the skin. My skin is much softer and smoother now. I just wish all the red marks would disappear!

Pros:

It's cheap, and you can incorporate it with other skin products you like.

Cons:

Crumbles all over the place if left on overnight, and probably won't cure acne.

I have tried everything: proactive, tetracycline, tricyclen, the proactive system, power cleanse detox, acnezine, and loads of other expensive products. I've used aspirin mask for 4 days and it's worked better than any of them. I am still getting pimples, but my skin feels smoother every day and just has a generally cleaner look. Also, a lot of dead skin has been flaking off, which is refreshing. My method is leaving the mask on overnight. Here is what I do: I have scarring from acne, so I begin by rubbing a squirt or two of cocoa butter scar serum into my skin. Then, mix three Aspirin tablets with a few drops of water in a small container -- I use a bottle cap. Once the mixture is somewhat smooth, I add in a little blob of toothpaste (toothpaste has been said to help with acne, and it also binds the aspirin mixture to keep it from crumbling). Then I mix that with a big blob of moisturizer and rub it all over my face. After rinsing it off in the morning my skin looks so much

Pros:

Easy to make and way more affordable than other treatments! A very quick fix for zits and such.

Cons:

Stings a little, and finding things to add to it can be confusing.

A very quick, easy treatment that anyone can afford! It's fun mixing up the solution and putting in things like aloe lotion and olive oil. ^^

Pros:

dries out my zits in a span of 1 week and cleared my skin

Cons:

can be very drying

I used 6 Aspirins dissolved in few drops of water, then i dab some hydrogen peroxide after washing my face from the solution. I do this every night, and sometime in the morning if I don't go out in the sun. After a week or so, i did see amazing results as first witnessed by my dad's officemate.

Pros:

The aspirin mask plus honey has really shrunk my pores and decreased my skin's oil production after application -- two things nothing else has accomplished -- and also seems to have decreased (although not eliminated) pimples.

Cons:

Messy, and I found the mask works much better than using aspirin as a scrub, so I have to keep it on for half an hour.

Really worth a try. It's not an elegant solution -- you look comical covered in aspirin paste -- but it is incredibly cheap and fairly effective. I should mention I use it in combination with Duac and Differin. When I tried to stop the Duac and just use aspirin and Differin, I broke out more. But using all three together is much more effective (so far) than just using the prescription products.

Pros:

More even-toned skin, softer, smoother and reduces redness.

Cons:

A little drying, but my skin is dry to begin with. Nothing a little Olay moisturizer won't fix.

About two months ago I started getting these little blemishes on my forehead and my cheeks...nothing seemed to work until I sucked it up and tried doing this. Once a day I take 4-5 little uncoated tablets (I got like...a billion of them at CVS for $7), mix them up into a paste with some hot water. Then, I mix it with my Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser and wash my face with it for about two minutes. Don't SCRUB! Very gentle rubbing is best. It's been about three days so far, and I'm happy to say that those little forehead/cheek blemishes are almost all gone! After, I use some Olay Complete Moisture Lotion with SPF 15 - Sensitive Skin....and my face is starting to look normal again! I haven't used it as a mask yet, but perhaps I'll try it one day!

Pros:

SMOOTH skin (baby's butt smooth)

Cons:

Using the aspirin with just water is hard to do. It flakes and takes practice to figure out how much water to add.

I tried this for the first time last night and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Like everyone else has said, after all the HUNDREDS of dollars I have spent on every kind of acne product out there, I finally found one that costs me $4.00 every two weeks or so! All I use is genaric uncoated aspirin mixed with water. It's only been on use, but my skin is so smooth and the bumps I could not get rid of on the sides of my cheeks are barely noticable and far less rough. It is NOT drying either (which I thought it would be). I don't use any moisturizer. I think I'll keep this up every other day to hopefully see even better results!

Pros:

I’ve been browsing the net for a treatment for acne. I’m 25 and still get it quite badly. Anyway I cam across this site and this idea. Because it is so cheap and I had some Aspirin in my cupboard I decided to give it a go. Used 4 tablets with a w

Cons:

None

I'm def gonna use it again. People seem to worry about the '˜risks' but if you get a headache you take 3 Aspirins? As long as you don't use 20 odd on your face I don't see how you are at risk. If your not sure about it'don't do it! Simple. I mean people have acid peels and don't worry about absorbing that!!! If anyone has acne give it a go!!!!!!!!!!! Its not gonna cost a lot to find out!!!! Thank to whoever posted this!!!!!
