Pros:

-; definately reduces any redness, makes your skin very soft and smooth, easy to make, it's cheap, it works!

Cons:

-; makes your sun more sensitive to UV rays [or so I heard]
-; touching your soft skin too much might make it break out D:

I barely get pimples, if at all, but when I do I have a really bad habit of touching and scratching it, which tends to make it worse.. but this mask really helps to reduce it to nothing in almost no time at all [by that I mean a couple days? haha] it makes my skin feel really smooth and I can't stop touching it which will probably make me break out if my hands are dirty.. ewww. But yeah you should try it, it works. I've been using it once/twice a week for a couple months now :]

Pros:

soft, smooth skin, reduces redness. Even balances out color tones on my face.

Cons:

makes you far more susceptible to sun exposure. I heard it makes you 50% more susceptible. Be sure to use a good moisturizer and at least 30 spf protectant

absolutely great. I wish I had known about this as a pimple-faced teen. It would have made my teenage years so much easier! I use BC powder because the caffeine is what helps with the redness and new studies show that caffeine used topically or ingested may prevent skin cancer. I take one packet add a couple drops of water to make a paste, then a few drops of honey to make it adhere to my skin. I leave it on 10-15 mins max. Then wash with cold water and pat dry with soft towel. I use it only once a week as I am afraid of the effects of the sun because I am in the sun a lot.

Pros:

Reduced redness significantly
Reduced size of pimple
Worked quickly without side effects

Cons:

None really, the only thing that bothered me was the smell. But is bearable

(I am knocking on wood as I speak) This has worked well for me so far. I got acne as a result of changing medicine and also it was hormonal. The first time I used it, I saw a big difference in redness and pimple size. I continued to use it and have been using it for a week (once a day). It smoothed out my face a lot and also reduced the number of pimples and redness. I feel so much better about going out in public now, Thanks to this aspirin mask :)

Pros:

It reduces swelling, redness and bumps

Cons:

A little difficult to crush (if you don't have the right tools), a bit hard to apply if you use too much or too little water, can dry out skin if using water.

I haven't really started doing it consistently, but every time I've tried this it's worked wonderfully. After leaving the mask on for about 10 minutes, I immediately notice that individual zits are much smaller and redness is reduced overall. The effects are noticeable for up to a week after treatment. I am confident that if I begin daily treatments, my skin will be completely clear within the next couple of weeks. I use the aspirin face mask in addition to the following skin care regiment (which I go through twice daily): Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Neutrogena Oil-free Acne Stress Control Neutrogena on the spot Acne Treatment Nivea Creme I am thinking of using aloe vera gell in the face mask instead of water, in order to further reduce any drying that might occur.

Pros:

MIRACULOUS! Instantly reduces redness. Skin smooth and clean

Cons:

Have to mix it yourself

Truly amazing! Had been mostly clear for years, and recently had BIG flair up. Tried Reg and really had trouble with BP - skin and eyes especially are just too sensitive. Am hooked on Purpose liquid, but know my face well enough that it needed extra cleaning and something else or I was going to be stuck with breakouts on my forehead, chin. Plus had a deep BIG red nod on my chin that just wasn't going away. SPRINKLED just a little water on 4 coated asprin and let it sit for awhile. Then mix with about 1T of honey. Scrubbed lightly onto my face and left for 30 minutes. Washed off with warm water and my skin instantly looked better! This morning redness was markedly better and even white heads were done. MIRACLE!!!

Pros:

effectively reduces acne, calms and smooths bumps/redness, even out skin tone

Cons:

none

I had moderately severe acne. Like many here, I've tried drugstore cleansers and masks, Proactiv, Nature's Cure tablets, etc all to no avail. I've used the aspirin mask for about half a year now, and for the first time since my mid-teens, I can leave the house without makeup/concealer. My skin is not perfect, but it looks a lot better. My sister's mild acne completely disappeared after two weeks of use. This REALLY works. Tips *Buy non/lightly-coated tablets. They dissolve better in water. *After dissolving aspirin, add a drizzle of honey. It's good for your skin, and keeps the aspirin from flaking off too much

Pros:

Cheap and works great!

Cons:

flaky and crumbly mess

This worked great. I noticed a difference the first day. As I began to use more I saw great effect of smoothness and shrinkage of bumps. Works well with toners and other care products. It is messy and crumbly so don't apply near eyes or nose! Still gets my vote

Pros:

Great all natural mask for evening out skin before a big event, Exfoliates bumps on skin, Reduces Redness, Lightens Acne scars, Reduces Pore Size (temporarily though), Feels relaxing and soothing on skin, Super cheap for a lot of pills

Cons:

Dries skin out a little, Messy when worn, Can be bad for skin moisture if used too often, Makes face super white and pale (but even-toned),

I decided to try this after a friend of mine swore by its power to clear her face up. It doesn't solve your all your acne problems but it does work great for smoothing your skin out and evening out your skin tone occasionally. It also fades acne scar redness slightly. Any time I see my face going downhill, I crush some pills, mix it with a few drops of water, spread it on my face, leave it on for 30 min max, and when I wash it off, my face is more even toned and the redness from my mild acne is lessened. But it didn't solve all my acne issues and it gets messy and flaky while on. I do recommend it as a face mask before an event though! Just be aware that it makes you a little paler. But since it evens out my skin a bit, my makeup goes on more smoothly!

Pros:

inexpensive, immediate results

Cons:

messy

I modified because I did not want to spread honey on my face and didn't have any Neutrogena Anti-Wrinkle cream. I used cetaphil cleaner with the aspirin, only left on for 10 minutes, then after washing off, applied LacHydrin 5. It worked great; my face is glowing and very soft. I would do it once a week or before a big event, but not more often than that.

Pros:

It really works. Have had acne for the past five years. Over the counter products and prescription drugs (Accutane, Retin-A, Duac) only had temporary results.

Cons:

none

Actually, the honey and aloe vera are not required, simply put about 12 uncoated aspirin in a zip lock bag and use a hammer to crush them then add a little water to make a paste and apply for about twenty minutes two to three times a week to keep acne at bay. I also mix 1 tablespoon of vinegar to a cup of water and dab all over face for 20 minutes once a week to kill bacteria.
