Pros:

This mask is awesome! gets rid of pimples very fast, and fades red marks and scars!

Cons:

none- you could complain about mixing it and the time you have to wait, but who cares if its this good!

I've had acne for about 3 years.. and i've tried every single thing there is- trust me. I just started Roaccutane which is my last hope at a long term cure. My doc said i would get an initial flare up (badly) but the same night i started using the Roaccutane, i started using this mask and my skin is getting clearer not worse! amazing, just try it :p

Pros:

very affordable, softens and tightens skin, also acts as an exfoliant, calms acne slightly

Cons:

none that I can think of

Found out about this from this site, thought I'd give it a try. It's not a miracle cure but it did help my skin and I will continue to use it. I've had acne for about 13 years now, have gone through Accutane and various cremes. My acne is incredibly resistent, but not as severe as it used to be. The aspirin mask really helped calm it down, and even softens up some of the bumpier acne on my face. I can totally feel it cleans better than the Nivea exfoliant I buy. I use 3-4 aspirin tablets and little bit of honey and leave it on for about 20 mins, 3 times a week. Other people may need to do it less frequently as apparently it can dry skin out pretty fast. It definetly has a positive inpact on my complexion so far and I fully recommend it!

Pros:

Works great! I ger these big red bumps on my forehead. I tried everything, and it wouldn't get rid of them. I tried this earlier today for the first time, and applied it for 15 min. And it reduced the redness, and the size of it shrunk!

Cons:

None!

Works great, fast and affective! And also very cheap! I crushed 2 Aspirins mixed it with 4 drops of water, mixed and applied on the troubled area. Waitied 15 minutes and washed it off. The redness and the size of the bump reduced! I think after a few more tries, it will be gone (cross my finger). I wish I would of known about this earlier!

Pros:

Affordable, easy, and worked VERY well (I made mine with honey)! I a saw noticeable in my skin texture after just one use! Plus, the honey makes it smell really nice, too!

Cons:

None!

I mixed 4 aspirin, 1/4 teaspoon water, and a couple squirts of honey all together and spread the mixture over my face. I let it sit for 15 minutes and then washed it off, letting the aspirin exfoliate my skin. After just one use, I saw such great results. My skin was so much smoother and softer, and my pores seemed tighter and less noticeable. It seems to have made my existing pimples smaller, too! I was so thrilled with the results! My skin really does look fresh and beautiful now. If you haven't tried this, do it! You have nothing to lose!!!

Pros:

It actually works! Not expensive. No serious known side effects.

Cons:

None so far!

I can't believe this actually works, but it does. The only other treatment I have experienced which is this effective is Accutane, (which I took for months, had bad side effects, and was expensive).I was about to try laser treatment, but thankfully no longer have to! My skin is clean and clear, and after having suffered from acne for 17 years I am so grateful! I use 4 asprin with a drop of water, and a tsp of pure aloe vera gel. Mix and apply to clean, dry skin for 10-30 mins. I used this everyday for 2 weeks, and once my skin was clear (even the red marks had gone!), I now use the mask 3 times a week. Try it- I hope it works for you!!

Pros:

Clears face, redness GONE and cuts healing time in half & PREVENTS future breakouts.

Cons:

None.

Here's what you do. I have super sensitive skin and this is my routine. Get a water bottle screw on lid (very small regular one) Put 1 asprin in the lid and fill with tap water - luke warm. Wash your face with warm water and stir asprin+water in the lid with a popsicle stick. Dump contents of asprin+water from water bottle lid into your hand and rub all over face. Use extra mix to apply directly to problem areas. Let sit for 20 minutes...if its really bad acne let it dry and go to bed with it on your face. Good luck : )

Pros:

Reduces inflammation, smoothes skin, tightens pores, works great on my extremely sensitive, acne-prone skin, helps to heal "weeping" acne

Cons:

a little drying, but less so than other acne products I've used.

I've had acne for about 7 years and have always had bad reactions to prescriptions (except for topical antibiotics, but those quit working after a while), always have combination-to-dry skin, and never do well with over-the-counter treatments (benzoyl peroxide makes my skin red, flaky, itchy... eek!). I'm beginning to think I'm actually allergic to some of the main ingredients in skin care products... So, I'm trying the aspirin mask (2 uncoated aspirin, just a drop of water, and a dollop of honey) and have been really pleased so far. Note: Adding honey is important - it has antiseptic properties and attracts moisture to your skin. Also, use a very gentle cleanser before hand (cetaphil works well) as the mask could feel harsh on treated skin! Finally, I like to dab on a mix of 1 tbs brewed thyme:1c.water w/ 10 drops tea tree oil for its soothing and antibac/antiseptic etc. effects, and end with a very simple, gentle noncomedogenic moisturizer.

Pros:

Just plain awesome, easy to make, wicked cheap, works incredible.

Cons:

none really, crushing the pills up is probably the hardest part and even that's easy.

I had a few monster zits on my face and I needed them gone ASAP and I tried everything out there but nothing really worked. I heard about this so I went out and bought some aspirin and made the mask as a spot treatement, and just from last night to today 2 of the 4 zits are completely gone, and the other two are so faded you can barely see them. This is the greatest thing I've even come across, and I've tried it ALL, trust me. I'm going to experiment with adding honey to this mask too, because I spot treat with honey at night and I've heard rave reviews about it.

Pros:

Cheap, Fast, Super Easy, and Effective

Cons:

may dry skin mildly, although you should be using a daily moisture-izer anyways sooooo ..

k, so some people are either confused or just havent heard about this.. but instead of crushing the aspirin, just place the tablet in a little bit of water, depending on he size of the tablet. that way there's no fuss about having to crush them or clean up afterwards. the results are the same but its wwwwwaaaayyyy easyer!!!
