Pros:

it cleanses your face great and will reduce acne

Cons:

no blemish agents in it but u can always get creams for that.

This stuff is great!!! Ive been using it for almost a week and its my face wash come true. Ive been through so many washes and one thing i hate about most of them is that they don't wash off well and they leave my face feeling oily. CETHAPHIL DOESN'T DO THAT!!! this stuff washes clean. i also am seeing a bit of change in my skin tone. I use BP but i hate using it everyday because it made my skin dry and discolored. thanks to cetaphil i use BP twice a week and my skin is clearing with my tone coming back better then it was. I don't understand when people say the smell. i don't smell anything but soap!!! overall this stuff is AWESOME!!!

Pros:

easy to find

I love this soap. I just wish I had began using it 2 yrs ago when I began breaking out horribly with cystic acne. Something about hitting 30. I tried so many things and nothing seemed to work. Luckily I saw some great reviews. I wash my face morning and night with this soap. I follow with a 2% salicylic acid (BP is too harsh for me) I also add 1 drop of jojoba oil to the salicylic lotion and follow with an SP moisturizer in the day. Seems to keep my pores exfoliated nice and clean not dry at all.

Pros:

clearing acne & yeast rash on face.

This soap + DermaNew resurfacing brush + BP + jojoba oil = clear skin!!!

Cons:

a little drying but not too bad

I've been using this little bar for a few weeks now & I'm very impressed. I've had this annoying "yeast" rash & moderate acne that even BP wasn't helping--well within even a few days of using this I saw major improvements...not gone, but much better! I will definitely keep using this! My newest routine! Its working!!: Lather on some of this soap, then use the DermaNew resurfacing brush/polisher (which I couldn't live without by the way, best investment ever!!!) to wash my face to remove dirt and extra oils, then put BP on, then some jojoba oil for moisturizer.

Pros:

Gentle,

Cons:

Bars are inconvenient (I bought a travel container).

I love Cetaphil. It has a pleasant frangrance, it suds up well and rinses off so good that my skin feels so clean and refreshed. Cetaphil effectively cleans my skin and cleared up my blackheads too. It is very gentle and did not dry out my skin like I thought it would.

Pros:

This is the BEST cleanser! For those using it for acne - acne is caused by bacteria, so why not use an antibacterial soap? Research has proven that a cheap bar of antibacterial soap kills acne BETTER than any other cleanser.

Cons:

Slightly drying, but anyone with acne should be using a moisturizer anyway

I bought this product for the acne and bumps on my back/shoulders, then started using it for my face - couldn't be happier! And no, your body does not become immune to the bacteria when using an antibacterial cleanser. Check out Dial & Cetaphil's websites among many research professionals to see for yourself.
