Pros:

makes skin less oily, clears acne for a few months

Cons:

dries out face, quits working after awhile

Used this for a few months, worked well in the beginning I was very happy but of course like everything else it quit working. After awhile it really started to dry my face out to the point that the skin around my eyes was flaking off.. not good! Anyway, if you want to get clear for a little bit go right ahead but it wont work longterm.

Pros:

better complexion after a few uses, and great clean feeling after use, without causing breakouts, possibly even minimizing breakouts with triclosan as an active ingredient

Cons:

much drier than cetaphil's liquid gentle cleanser, but not something i would complain about. doesn't last a long time, and expensive for a cleansing bar

good cleansing bar, gone quickly cause i use it all over my body, but good thing i stocked up. doesn't cause breakouts, and did help my skin. a bit drying, so do load up on moisturizer after the BP, which i find that i have to apply sooner because the skin on my face feels like a desert afterwards (effect of BP on my skin, still ramping it up so it's pretty sensitive to how drying the cleanser i use is). the "odor" isn't bad at all, and its a pretty good thing to try out cause it's cheap and cetaphil products are usually very good for people with sensitive skin anyway.

Pros:

It REALLY works!!!

Cons:

I wouldn't recommend using this product as a daily facial cleanser or 2X a day....

I have oily, acne prone skin and this soap works really well on my skin. My skin is also sensitive. However, this product is great for those days when your skin is..... exremely oil, dead skin build-up, feels yucky and much more. Gently splash your face with water, lather soap into hands, gently message into your skin, keep on for a few seconds and splash entire face comletely w/ water. Additionally, make sure you remove all the soap. Lastly, pat your face with a wash cloth/towel gently.... This product works REALLY WELL!!! It removes oil, bacteria, dead skin and much more... it help prevent, decrease or kill acne causing bacteria.

Pros:

I bought this bar soap a few months ago and had literally just 1 pimple per month. It is smooth, not too drying, very clean, and extremely gentle on your face. It is probably the solution to my skin!

Cons:

Just breaks apart easily. I keep it in a soap box and usually, when I use it again, it sheds off and comes apart quite often. It doesn't stay dry like most soaps, it retains too much moisture.

Get this and try it out. It's a must! You won't regret it. I personally think that it played a huge part in curing my acne. I used Dan's cleanser and Gentle Purposes' bar and both were over-drying. I also used various other brands such as Neutrogena and Nivea. They contained harmful ingredients to my sensitive skin. After using Cetaphil's anti-bacterial bar though, I have had close to no acne-related problems, and my skin feels like a baby's skin once again!

Pros:

Really good for back acne.

Cons:

Doesn't work as well on the face as it does on the back.

I use this on my back, and it works wonders. I used to have HORRIBLE bacne, but this pretty much cleared ALL of it up.

Good for the every now-and-then breakout
Whenever I have a bad breakout, this is definitely a good go-to product that will stop a breakout and get your skin looking clear. I would only recommend it when having a bad breakout, though, as it leads to some pretty rough drying if you don't apply moisturizer straight after use.

Definitely worth trying!
This is totally worth the purchase. It's inexpensive and was recommended to me by a dermatologist for my dry, oily, acne-prone skin. I have had no issues with it thus far, and I actually kinda like that it's in a bar form, because I haven't actually used a facial cleanser like that before. It's actually just as convenient for travel as the bottles when you put it in a cheap travel soap container, and I don't have to worry about it spilling all over my stuff. I bought a three pack, and I think it's great to use as a body wash in the shower, too. I do feel like this helped improve the dryness of my skin, and think it's a life-saver for people with sensitive skin, too! The only complaint that I had initially was with the smell, but it's something I got used to quickly and think nothing of now. It doesn't linger whatsoever. This didn't necessarily help my acne, but that isn't the intended or advertised purpose! xx

Pros:

Clears skin, non-irritating

Cons:

Only comes in a bar form

The best cleanser I've used in quite some time. It works especially well for cystic acne and other inflammatory types of acne because they are caused by bacteria. I just wish it came in a liquid form because bars contain pore clogging fillers.

Cleansed

Cons:

Did not eliminate chest & back acne.

Just didn't work. I had such high hopes, but haven't really seen a difference.
