Pros:

face feel clean and healthy

Cons:

can be a bit drying..but just use moisturizer

I have been using this soap in the am followed by neutrogena healthy skin moisturizer. In the evening I cleanse with cerave cleanser wait 30 min then use retin a cream and follow with cerave lotion. My skin has become so soft and the healthiest its ever been. I have very oily skin with alot of black heads and white heads and this is the only thing that has helped. To stop acne you really need to use something both day and night and this soap is the only thing my face can tolerate since I have become so sensitive from using so much ace treatments. This is truly the best for me.

Pros:

Twice in the past few years I have had a rash on my face that my dermatologist treated with a prescription solution. The solution did not completely cure the problem. I then tried Cetaphil Antibacterial soap. The rash was gone in under a week. I was thrilled.

Cons:

It does get mushy if you don't let the bar dry. I put it in a plastic container with the top open. It air dries and then it's fine.

I would definitely recommend this product. And I like the smell.

Pros:

This really really really helps with acne! It's amazing! And it doesn't dry out my face like salicylic acid does!

Cons:

Triclosan is bad for the environment.

So I wet my face and my hands. I rub the bar of soap all over my hands and get it super sudsy. Then i rub the suds all over my face and especially over my very bad areas of acne. I leave it on for about 10-15 minutes... and when I wash it off... it looks as if a few of my pimples literally melt away... either they are about half the size or the swelling went down and the white part on top came off. Its perfect, my routine is I do this lathering and leaving on twice in a row so that my pimples are smaller. Then I put on benzoyl peroxide. I am so happy I found this! I can't wait to use it for my back because it does wonders for my face!!!!!

Pros:

effective, smells good, leaves face clean and smooth, works on very oily skin

Cons:

none.

When I was a teen my dermatologist gave me free samples of cetaphil and I loved the stuff. Only down side is the liquid kind is a little costly for me. Decided to try this and WOW! Best stuff Ive used in my 23 years of life! Really seems to do the job. I have VERY oily skin and it gets embarassing. For a while I started to think I had the worst skin on Earth. Cetaphil does not dry my skin at all. Does not make it feel sticky or tight like some cleaners do. Some cleaners feel like they burn a little...this stuff doesnt feel like that! Just smooth and soft! Some people are commenting on the scent and I personally love it. Its very fresh.

Pros:

It clears blemishes and acne, doesn't smell at all

Cons:

My face becomes very dry

I bought this product cause I kept getting acne cysts on my chin and one on my cheek and I couldn't seem to get rid of them. I read about cetaphil and they had such great reviews and I saw this soap for like $3 in Walmart so I bought it. Its been like 5 days and I see my chin clearing up. I wish my face wasn't so dry from it though.

Pros:

better complexion after a few uses, and great clean feeling after use, without causing breakouts, possibly even minimizing breakouts with triclosan as an active ingredient

Cons:

much drier than cetaphil's liquid gentle cleanser, but not something i would complain about. doesn't last a long time, and expensive for a cleansing bar

good cleansing bar, gone quickly cause i use it all over my body, but good thing i stocked up. doesn't cause breakouts, and did help my skin. a bit drying, so do load up on moisturizer after the BP, which i find that i have to apply sooner because the skin on my face feels like a desert afterwards (effect of BP on my skin, still ramping it up so it's pretty sensitive to how drying the cleanser i use is). the "odor" isn't bad at all, and its a pretty good thing to try out cause it's cheap and cetaphil products are usually very good for people with sensitive skin anyway.

Pros:

Gentle,

Cons:

Bars are inconvenient (I bought a travel container).

I love Cetaphil. It has a pleasant frangrance, it suds up well and rinses off so good that my skin feels so clean and refreshed. Cetaphil effectively cleans my skin and cleared up my blackheads too. It is very gentle and did not dry out my skin like I thought it would.

Pros:

super gentle, non drying, cleared up my skin fast (even most blackheads are gone)

Cons:

smell is okay (not great, not bad), bars of soap aren't convenient

I love it. It's super gentle, cleared my skin up super fast. Doesn't dry my face out. It's evened out my skin tone and makes it easy to put on makeup. And SO cheap. I don't feel like I'm attacking my skin with harsh cleaners. I don't feel the need to scrub anymore to get acne to go away. I do use a makeup removing cleanser first just to be sure, but I use only the bar in the morning

Pros:

Smells nice, inexpensive, since it's a bar soap, you can take it on a plane with you, creamy, smooth lather, also works for underarms, back, etc.

Cons:

Bar soap runs out more quickly than liquid cleanser

I have tried almost every product on the market for acne. Earlier this week, I had a terrible breakout. I have an event to go to this weekend and I was worried about the appearance of my face. A co-worker recommended this bar and I am so mad I didn't know about it before. I could have saved myself a lot of money! Buy it at Target, it's cheaper!
