Pros:

WORKS WONDERS!
-Helps fight acne, helps take down cysts
-Evens out skin tone and promote renewal of skin
-Helps reduce acne scars
-Feels great on face

Cons:

-Cause temporary redness on face, especially around sensitive skin areas
-Burns if you use too much and if its your first time trying it
-Increases chances of sun burn if no sunscreen is used

I've heard about the benefits of AHA lotions on acne and I have been using Eucerin Skin Renewal AHA lotion for 5 years while on the Acne.org regimen. It was just way too greasy and shiny on my face, and it didn't work as well as this. For the last two days, I first got to try Dan's AHA+ lotion and I was just amazed, it definitely helped with my stubborn chin cysts that massively formed after I tried quitting a regimen for a few weeks (bad mistake). I can't believe I have been missing out on this, I positively think this should be a requirement for the along with the regimen. I use a decent amount (just enough for my face to handle without my face getting too red) along with my cetaphil moisturizer, and then after, I spot treat on the areas where the acne has formed.

Pros:

evens skin tone, shrinks emerging pimples, large bottle

Cons:

very shiny

the product is quite shiny so i use it as a night cream (over the benzyol peroxide treatment). my skin is so soft and smooth i can't believe it. definately helps with scaring and stops emerging pimples in its tracks. i highly recommend this product!

Well the only bad about this product is that you cannot use it right away when your starting the regimen because of the pain it causes in the skin( stinging )

Pros:

It is VERY effective when bobbed on top of my BP to stop a developing zit in its tracks. It also completely cured these weird rough tiny bumps on the backs of my legs.

Cons:

can't wear it under makeup because it balls up. Can't really wear it in public at all because of that, and because it causes sun burn. It does sting on occasion.

Definitely worth the purchase, you can put it on any flawed part of your skin and it will help in some way. I've used it for little bumps and rough patches as well as a spot treatment.

Pros:

It will not dry out your skin like benzoyl peroxide so you can wear it out in public without any additional moisturizer.

Cons:

It is not as effective at reducing existing acne nor as a spot treatment when compared to benzoyl peroxide.

You can wear it out in public without any additional products (unless you need spf of course). It goes on clear and is absorbed well; only a dime size amount is needed for the whole face. I like it in the morning because I do not need to worry about flakiness. Also, it prevents breakouts pretty well in addition to smoothing out skin. It is not as glamorous as "Dan" makes it out to be. It is not a miracle spot treatment; stick to benzoyl peroxide for that. It is not "powerfully exfoliating"; just moderately exfoliating at best. However, I like that it goes on light and clear and does not dry out the skin while still preventing and treating acne. Considering it's price, which is definitely reasonable, it is effective enough for me to recommend it to those of you who dislike wearing benzoyl peroxide + moisturizer when out in public.

Pros:

You get a lot for what you pay for, and you only need to use it a few times a week. Last forever. Great for your skin!

Cons:

NONE! its amazing! well, you may feel a slight tinghling sensation, but i like it, it lets me know its working.

This may be, hands down, the best product I have ever used!!!.. I too am a sufferer of acne, scars, big pores. Since i bought this, i have literally had not one zit appear! I Use it only like 3 times a week at night, and voila, scars gone too! Face is smooth, pores appear smaller. Its great! I cant stress it enough. I even was able to quit using the benzoyl peroxide everyday.

Pros:

it doesn't sting at all. its absorbed quickly it helps prevent breakouts and its helping my existing acne. it helps my redness

Cons:

my skins purging yuck it doesn't actually smelll that bad it smells kinda good in a weird way.you really shouldn't have a problem with the amount of aha that is dispensed unless you are a moron.

ok..i had a really BAD breakout on my chin like every inch of my chin was covered in under the skin zits. AHA really helped with that breakout.during the first few days my skin felt really smooth but then it started getting a rough texture and my skin started purging(well not my chin my breakout on my chin just started to go away). ah the wonderful feeling of purging. My purge just finished. I'm getting no new breakouts and the pimples from the purge are going away. I will order this product again It is purty dam awesome. im not clear yet but ive only used it for a week i will do another review once ive used this product longer.

Pros:

Extremely effective, non irritating, mattifying, inexpensive

Cons:

None!

A friend kindly gave me a sample of this lotion, and I'm so glad she did. I probably wouldn't have bought this if she hadn't done so because I haven't had much luck with AHA creams or lotions in the past. I found them either too irritating or they contained comedogenic ingredients. This stuff is golden! I can't believe how much better my skin looks after such a short time - smoother, brighter, clearer, and it's doing a bang up job of helping to make wrinkles and lines much less obvious. Even though my skin is very sensitive I have experienced no irritation of any kind - just great results. Because this product is so inexpensive I can use it on my face, neck, chest and hands. Don't tell Dan, but I would pay twice as much for this product and would still feel it was a bargain.

Pros:

it does its job by exfoliating your skin. reduces dark spots from acne scars.

Cons:

i don't think there is a single one for me. it can sting a little i guess.

this product is amazing. i have been using for 2 weeks or so and using it as a spot treatment for my dark brown spots from my acne scars and let me tell you, it has been the only thing i've used at home to reduce these spots. they are MUCH lighter and i can't stress that enough. if using it on your entire nightly and daily it will even your skin tone and make your lighter. this is an excellent product, thanks DAN!

Awesome AHA treatment!
I added this treatment to my regimen about 2.5 months into using the BP. I have reactive, sensitized skin & wondered if this would be too much. It's completely amazing! This completes the regimen by smoothing out the texture of your skin. I use the BP morning & night, everyday. Once I added this in, I use this instead of the BP every 3rd night. I know some people use this layered over the BP but I haven't tried that because the method I'm doing is working. I can't recommend this enough. I get zero irritation from this & couldn't be happier. I am an esthetician & have worked for several medical grade skincare companies & this is the best I've personally used. Simple & effective without the frills that can be irritating to some people.
