Pros:

- MAY dry out pimples a bit, mild

Cons:

- Overpriced
- Doesn't stop redness
- Doesn't make pimples smaller

I used this along with the entire line and this was the only thing that flat out never worked. It's like putting water on a pimple. Doesn't really change acne but makes you feel like you are because you paid so much. Toothpaste works a great deal better.

Pros:

-inexpensive
-doesn't cause acne
-tingles

Cons:

-leaks out of lid
-doesn't reduce spots
-doesn't work with makeup

I used this for a few years, but I don't think it actually does anything, I have used some far better on the spot treatments! It says you can wear this over or under makeup which is also a lie. I've tried lots of different foundations with this and application techniques but it comes straight off with makeup in an orangeybrown clump of gloop. My main problem with this product is that the packaging is rubbish! I'd take the lid off and it would flow out of the nozzle and not slow until my fingers were covered. The lid was always full of congealed gloop because it leaks so much. EVERY tube I had did the same thing - very frustrating. I wrote Clean and Clear a letter about this and they very kindly sent me a £2 voucher. The product costs more than a fiver and I've bought about 15 tubes because of the leaks. Cheers Johnson and Johnson.

Pros:

NONE.

Cons:

-Makes skin red & looks burned
-extreme flakiness
-Extreme dryness
-Itchiness
-made skin swollen

WHAT A BIG MISTAKE I MADE.. This product is NOT FOR SENSITIVE SKIN. If you have sensitive skin, don't let this even touch your face for a second.... I payed 10 $$ FOR A BOTTLE THE SIZE OF MY THUMB. This was dreadful. for me anyway. When i first put this stuff on, i was exited thinking in less than 4 hours i would be flawless. I left in on for 1 hour, and then decided to look in the mirror. I was prepared to see clear skin, but instead saw an ATROCITY. my skin was as red as a tomato, with white flakes seeping out of it, it was swollen, and DISGUSTING. I started crying, my mild acne looked MODERATE then and there. it was terrifying and horrific. DO NOT use this product if you have sensitive skin. you will completely regret it. II did not leave the house for 4 days, until the swelling and redness went away. this was horrible. Even after the swelling and redness diminished, the pimples were FULLY THERE. nothing even went away, even after all i've done to remove the swelling & redness /iritation ETC ETC . for 4 days i had aloe vera, and baby lotion smeered over my face constantly. Along with icing it for 10-20 minutes a day. Basically, I would assume this working for people who dont have sensitive skin....

Pros:

-Cheap

Cons:

-Stings
-Dries out skin SEVERELY
-Doesn't Work
-More redness

Omg I agree with Jared and Katie!!! Mine grew "mold" too! Anyways, this stuff does NOT work. I used tiny, tiny, dabs of it on spots. They got extremely red, irritated, and flaky. I literally had to slather it in petroleum jelly to get rid of the flakiness...not a pretty sight. It didn't even get rid of the acne. Yes, it's cheap but it doesn't really work. I have no idea why all the mags rave about it (I read about it in Seventeen.) God, don't waste your money on this.

Pros:

Inexpensive

Cons:

Oily
Stings (slightly)

Waste of money. I bought it because there were tons of magazines that raved about this product, but I couldn't tell you why. I used it consistently on a few white heads and cystic pimples a.k.a the ones that swell up and are painful but don't come to a head. After almost a week passed I finally couldn't take using the product with no significant results and just popped them.

Pros:

The product works great.

Cons:

I found in two different tubes of this stuff that a mold started growing inside the outer layer of the tube. Has anyone else had this happen? The mold is pink in color and ranges from almost white, light pink to darker plum pink and is visible on the back of the tube under the Directions. It appears to be like liquid as when you squeeze it, it moves and bubbles under the plastic.

I'm not sure it's safe.

Pros:

-okay smell

Cons:

- Sticky
- never cleared a single zit

I used this for over two months with the other products in this line. NOTHING HAPPENED. It never cleared up a single zit nor reduced one. Bottom line--- it sucks
August 2, 2010

Pros:

-could feel bacteria on my zit getting killed by use of salicylic acid

Cons:

-did not clear up or prevent the zit even when i applied the night before
-dried up zit area
-stung when applied

although this product claimed that 100% people saw clearer skin..i have to disagree. i used this product a few years ago when my acne worsened...but stopped b/c it wasn't working. when my acne came back again recently, i thought i would give it a try..but nothing changed. i applied the night before..even before the zit had "broke out". as soon as i saw a red spot (sign that a zit was forming), i applied the product on. i woke up the next morning with it bigger. i continued to apply as directed..a few times a day, but it still got bigger until i realize it would have been the exact same size even without ANY application. i did notice that it made it more difficult to pop the white heads..( i know its the worse thing to do..but hey..i can't help it). i guess the area around the zit was getting tighter as i used more the product. i really have no idea how they can make such a claim as to "100% of people saw clearer skin the next day." i definitely did not see clearer skin. maybe it's my skin type that did not mesh well with the product..so it might work for others..but beware. could be a waste of money
