Pros:

Worked wonders on my skin.

Cons:

I have a sensitivity to Aloe Vera so the toner was slightly irritating.

3 Makeup artists I have dealt with have told me to definitely keep doing what I'm doing to my skin because it's a perfect canvas. In the near year I've used it I've counted only 4 noticeable pimples, all occuring within a few days of me skipping my Proactiv routine. Best skin treatment I've ever tried.

Pros:

Im just going to say it works.

Cons:

a tad expensive, but is worth it

you just have to be patient with it. Give it 6 months. any product you use should atleast be given 6 months to work. dont say it doesnt work if you've only been on it for 2 weeks. If you get more breakouts, you are probably allergic to it. if so, stop using it. a good idea would be to read the back of every product just so you know if you're using it properly. Also for women, make sure you read the back to make sure what kinds of make-up you should/shouldn't use. it works!

Pros:

It works! I've actually found that it is very inexpensive because even though I use it twice a day, I only need to buy the 3-piece system every 5 months or so. The only thing that has ever worked for me...and I've tried everything for so long!

Cons:

The toner makes me break out, so I no longer use it--they just ship me a customized 3-piece pack that doesn't include toner. I still get occasional acne, but all in all my skin looks much better and I'm very happy with it.

Give it a good honest try--at least six months. I noticed a difference right away, just after a couple of days, so who knows. Best product out there!

Pros:

Very soothing. I have a questions though:
Is it okay to still use this mask even after it expired?

Cons:

None.

Pros:

its good use. it works great, but the thing is you have to get it doesnt get rid of acne it helps u from developing and haveing breakouts but its well worth it

Cons:

pricy, and it takes a while

i got that 5 pack thingy, cuz i have both dry and oily face haha, but anyways, its really worth it, people who say it didnt work for them, either dindt get a right package, applied wrong,or it just doesnt work for them, proactiv doenst work for everyone. i mean it wasnt guarenteed 100% to stop acne annd breakouts, taht would be like a miracle to stop hormones haha, but it was to help stop acne formation n breakouts, so its really worth it, jsut give it time to work, mine started working on the first week,m i have mild acne that is annoying becuz it only grows on the nose area, and its red almost like rudulf, anyways i used it on the second day my nose that was like always red now isnt even red, it stopped my occasional break outs which is raelly good

Pros:

Proactive works very well. It kept my face clear and i only got pimples right befor ei get my period

Cons:

It made my skin really RED AND more pimples came and it looked horrible for like the first 2-3 months.

AT first I WAS going to give up on proactive because the first 2 to 3 moths it made my acne look so bad. but i kept on using proactive and it it became completely clear after like 5 moths. i hardly got any but i still got small little ones. It made me feel so confident. but i do believe it stops working, im not using anymore because mys kin has gotton too use to it so i eventually had to stop using it. i use duac gel and retin a micro now

Pros:

my skin hasn't been this clear or smooth in ages. i'm constantly petting my cheeks! for the most part, doesn't dry it out my skin. smells good, love the little exfoliating beads in cleanser, i feel cleaner than i would from a cream cleanser.

Cons:

took several months to really start working, still get the occasional huge zit, very pricey, three steps can be frustrating especially when you're short on time (but they're worth it)

my self-esteem has improved and i'm not embarrassed by my skin. i can actually look people in the eye now without worrying what they'll think of my acne. i tried pretty much everything but accutane... proactiv is definitely worth a shot. if you have very oily skin and moderate acne like i have, i would recommend using a benzoyl peroxide 10% cream at night instead of/before of the lotion.

Pros:

Works well with time and the product lasts a while

Cons:

A little pricey and product works differently for everyone

I started using ProActiv about 2 years ago. I had mild acne and just wanted to get rid of it. Well, with CONSISTENT use, my skin was flawless. I only broke out the week before my period, and thats it. This summer I ran out of product and decided to buy the competing brand, AcneFree. Well, with 2 months, my skin started flaring up, which I assumed was due to me not exercising anymore or wearing excessive amounts of sunscreen since it was summer, so I moved on to Murad. Didnt help. Skin got worse. Finally went to a Derm and was prescribed Doxycycline (an antibiotic pill) and Retin-A. Both of these prescriptions literally TORE UP my face. So I went back and was prescriped Tazarac. Didnt help. After 6 months of bad BAD skin, 3 failed Rxs and a lot of pain, suffering, and embarrasment, I'm back on ProActiv. After just 2 days my skin is starting to look clearer than it has in 6 months. Proactive seems to work great with me, but every person is different. I love it!

Pros:

It has a nice scent and seems very convincing when you read the leaflet inside... the rejuvinating toner makes your skin tingle (which means its working) and the repairing lotion is very light.

Cons:

YET, it didn't work for me. Too pricey.

I have moderateish acne, but PERSISSTANT acne. gross. I thought, 'hey the ppl on the commercials say it works, i'll just try it'.. stooopid. It made my acne better but i still had acne, which i thought was a waste of money so i got off it. Then i got on dan's regimine. pshh.. no. didnt work. now im on benzaclin, yay!
