Pros:

was consistent, and works

Cons:

needed to use a lot more BP than told in instructions to work and wouldn't work if i didn't use too much BP. thinking of switching to regimen since you get more for less $

worked ok but was a little costly and i am thinking you will get better results with the regimen or cheaper immitations

Pros:

It's cheap to get and it doesn't dry out your face.

Cons:

Only works for a very short period of time.

I started using Proactiv in probably 6th grade. I didn't really have "acne" but it was getting progressivly worse. So, me being the spolied brat that I am, conviced my mom to order me proactiv. I got it and I loved it..for TWO months. About two months after I started, it got worse than before. Now I'm a freshman in high school and I've tried everything. I've tried Proactiv, RetinA, Clean and Clear, Veloicity, and a couple different pills. (menocycline i believe?) Now I'm taking Accutane and I think it is slowly working. I wouldn't recommend Proactiv..biggest joke on the market.

Pros:

glowing skin

I have been using Proactiv for about 5-6 months now. Only recently have I REALLY been impressed with my face. I have mild acne, just wanted that perfect glowing skin. I've tried **everything** so I decided to try Proactiv. It takes a while, there are lots of steps every time you wash, and there are so many products it takes a while to find what works for you, but now my skin is really looking good. I wouldn't say my acne is gone, I still have the minor hard-to-see blemishes, but my skin IS glowing. I actually like the older version of the products, not the renewing. I wash and use the toner every morning and night, use step 3 only at night. My moisturizer is... on forehead: daily oil control (really works, I can tell if I skip that. On cheeks: skin lightening lotion - will probably switch to green tea there when this runs out it was a free sample. On rest of my face and neck: green tea moisturizer.

Pros:

the scrub clears my face up alot, and i LOVE the toner gets all my dirt off m face & clears up my black heads very well. The green tea lotion helps my skin me very morsterized

Cons:

with out mosterisure it drys my face out.

IT DEF CLEARS SKIN QUICK, it may cause dryness but so does alot of other face washs thats why their is LOTION to put on after wards. it clears my acne up amazing & i LOVE THE SPOT TREATMENT my zits get smaller over night.

Pros:

evens skin tone

Cons:

a bit drying

so far, so good. only had it for a week but it did what it said it would. i think u have to expect -some- dryness when trying to clear acne.

Pros:

Great cleansers
B.P. is a gel, so you can blend it in without it being visible on your face
Toner helps even out skin tones

Cons:

Mostly only works with people with mild acne
Expensive

Okay, i've used Proactiv off and on for a while. Probably close to 4-5 years now. I have never had severe acne, but I did have moderate acne for a while. I tried using Proactiv for my worst acne period and it really didn't help too much. Where people get confused is when it comes to the B.P. in the product. B.P. is meant to PREVENT breakouts, which I feel Proactiv does pretty well. However, if you have severe breakouts and are expecting Proactiv to magically make them disappear, this isn't the product for you. Unless you want to prevent future breakouts. If you have severe acne problems, you need to look for a product that will TREAT your currently existing acne. I ended up seeing my doctor to get some prescriptions to treat my acne, and I feel that it is now under control. I am back to using Proactiv solely to help PREVENT breakouts from happening. It has been working great and I love that they've updated the bottles as well as the B.P. It used to be a clear gel but now it's a thicker, whiter lotion-type texture. You can still rub it in without it being visible, though. I feel that this updated formula has helped it be more effective. So if you're looking for an acne system that really helps cleanse your face and leaves it smooth, Proactiv is for you.

Pros:

Lightened Up skin Tone
Gave me Normal Skin

Cons:

Dried Up Some Other Parts Of My Skin
Only Worked If I Used EVERY DAY

It did work for me. But just on my pimples. I have been struggling since 12 years old. I now have scars but i use this just for pimples.
