Pros:

I honestly cannot think of any...but it if I had to it would be it smelled OK.

Cons:

Very expensive, even when by buying it through QVC so I could use it at my own pace instead of being billed monthly. Did not clear up my mild acne AT ALL. I might as well have saved my money and not washed by face for 4 months straight. Very cheap packaging, the directions on the bottle washed away when I dropped them in the sink! Refining mask had hard chunks of something it it that felt like sharp rocks.

Big rip off, I would not recommend Proactiv to anyone. I was very disappointed since it seems to have a high reputation on TV. I wish I would have just gone to the doctors first to get a professional's suggestion rather than rely on advertisements. Best of luck!

PROACTIV IS OK BUT DOES NOT MAKE YOUR FACE SMOOTH CLEAR IT ALSO DEPENDS ON THE TYPE OF SKINS YOU HAVE BUT KEEP IN MIND THAT PROACTIV IS NOT THE CURE TO ACNE AND SOONER OR LATER YOU START BREAKING OUT AGAIN :( bUT KEEP HOPES UP ACNE WILL SOONER OR LATER DISAPPEAR :)

Pros:

Dried out my acne

Cons:

Burnt the hell out of my face
Made my acne worse
Left little bumps all over my cheeks
VERY EXPENSIVE

My whole life I would probably get around one major pimple a month. Then at the start of the year (turned 24) I started to break out a little more. Not really sure why, perhaps it was change in make-up products. I decided to try proactive. I started using it once a day due to how sensitive my skin is, Once i applied it, my face would go very red and burnt like crazy, sometime I would sit there wanting to run into the bathroom and wash it all off. This was with the moisturizer as well. I read that it would make me break out for a while after using it. So I stuck with it for about a month, but the acne that was forming was just not going away and I start to get little pimples that were under my skin all over my face. Everyday I would wake up with a new huge pimples. I stopped using it after a month and I figure I gave it a good enough run. i feel my face is damaged due to the products. I know everyone skin is different but to anyone who has very sensitive skin, I recommend this to not be used.

Pros:

exfoliates well, controls oil well

Cons:

drying, ineffective, EXPENSIVE!, ruins towels and pillowcases.

I've used Proactiv with dedication for nearly 3 years. It helped make my skin feel clean and exfoliated really nicely, but didn't make a huge difference as far as breakouts. Plus any clearing up I had was lost if I skipped one treatment. It's horribly expensive compared to similar things you can buy in drugstores. Lastly, I've ruined all my towels and pillowcases from the bleaching effects of benzoyl peroxide. I think the biggest plus is the lotion, which does actually seem to control the bacteria and oil on my skin throughout the day. Honestly starting birth control did way better things for my acne than this stuff has! If what you need to control acne is clean skin, you can find a cheaper way to do it.

Pros:

It did clear my skin fast

Cons:

My breakouts are worse then before, it stops working after about a month.

I've been using this product for almost three months and it did clear up my skin after about a month of using it. But now it's like it has stopped working, my breakouts are worse than before I started using this product and they aren't just little zits, they are big, red zits! Also I have had to spend a fortune in cover-ups to try and cover up my new acne!

Pros:

-Good for teaching teenagers how to properly clean and moisturize skin
-Good for light acne or poorly cleaned skin

Cons:

-Helped for about 3 months, then stopped working
-Just cleans and moisturizes, doesn't really treat acne

I used this for about 6 months, then quit because it wasn't any better than the stuff you can buy cheaper at any store. Also, astringents or "pore refining" products usually seem to make my acne worse or not help at all. Irritates my face too much. I think it cost me $60 for a 3 month supply. I didn't find ProActive products to be worth it. The product should be able to sell itself, without the use of celebrities in your ad campaigns.
