Pros:

Worked immediately - I saw results within a week. I never thought I would ever get rid of my blackheads, but this did it! And the mask is wonderful.

Cons:

Smell is not so great, bleaches material. Dries the skin, at least at first. Kind of expensive if you don't buy by the kit (3-step system, plus Daily moisturizer and Refining mask = $102) I have waay to much repairing lotion...

This is the only regimen I've tried that actually did what it said it would. At first, Proactiv can dry your skin, so make sure you follow the directions, and use the repairing lotion carefully. Stick with it and it works.

Pros:

Works!!!

Cons:

Can be overdrying

My teenage son and i both use this product. I am 40 so i only use it every 2nd to third day but the texture of my skin has changed dramatically by usingit. He uses it every day and when we run out his skin plays up, so we know it is this product that is clearing his skin. I suggested to another friend about the product and her and her daughter are so pleased with it also. Just be careful if you have mature skin, don't use it every day and make sure you use a good moisturiser - i have just ordered theirs to see what that is like. If you want a clearer looking complexion, less lumps and bumps and to feel confident without makeup, this product will do it for you :)

Pros:

You will probably see a noticeable improvement in your acne.

Cons:

Works really well for awhile, but over time, it does not work as well.

I have had severe acne for over 15 years. I had tried everything, including four courses of Accutane. About four years ago, I was watching a Proactiv infomercial and thought "why not"? I noticed a difference in my skin in less than 2 weeks. Less new pimples were forming, and my skin almost cleared up entirely. However, over time, my acne worsened again. I'm not sure what causes this--maybe your skin starts to get used to the routine. I still use Proactiv and I think my skin is better for it. I would still have more breakouts without it. I have started adding a few drops of Jojoba oil into my oil-free moisturizer, and that is helping a lot (a non-clogging natural oil that tricks your skin into thinking it is producing enough sebum). I have also started following Dan Kern's advice and I put a LOT of the 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide solution that comes in my Proactiv kit on my face. That is also making a difference. BOTTOM LINE: Proactiv is worth a try.

Pros:

This product works wonders on my skin.

Cons:

Over dries my skin, leaves my skin feeling tight and ichy.

It really has help my skin. I have combination/ to oily skin. SO if you have dry skin you would need a different moisturiser as this one really does dry your skin out. Sometimes leaving you feel very tight. I used to have awful skin and this product has helped me keep my skin uder control. But I think using this in the long run may damage your skin because benzoyl peroxide is a powerful bleaching agent. Also it removes the top layer on your skin which is dangerous to the sun. Be sure to put some sort of sunscreen afterwards if you don't want sunburn and premature aging!

Pros:

It's an EXCELLENT product which gives you healthy looknig(NOT PERFECT..ITS NOT MIRACLE CREAM) skin that you can feel confident with. It also helps fade spots so thats good too..It works for my skin and i am happy with the results.

Cons:

Its a bit pricy...and because of my location its a bit hard to get sometimes...and when you run out its not very pretty at all because your skin breaks out even worse than it did before.

If you have acne THIS THING WORKS LIKE A CHARM!! Trust me. Those who've had problems with it either didnt need it, didnt follow instructions, didnt use it consistently enough or had an allergic reaction to it. Follow the instructions and get yourself familiar with the product first(thats the smart thing to do). It comes with a booklet...read it!! Call them if you have a specific question, they're more than willing to answer SO TRY IT!!!

Pros:

It leaves your face very soft and smooth / Works relatvely fast (within 4 weeks I saw very significant results) / Doens't burn or overdry your face /

Cons:

The fragrance / It leaves your face a little red for an hour or so

I have had mild to moderate acne since the age of 11 (I'm 22 now) and I have tried every topical product imaginable and they never worked for more than 2 weeks or so, and left my face burnt to a crisp. A friend of mine with SEVERE acne recommended Proactiv, it worked for her so I figured why not: WIthim 2 weeks my skin looked healthier, within 4 weeks the acne had cleared right up... now it has been 11 months or so I've been using it and I NEVER break out. My scars have almost totally faded... My face looks the best it EVER has :D I WOULD RECOMMED THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE!!!

Pros:

I had mild acne that started when I was 25. Proactiv made it manageable but not great. I had fewer pimples than before, but I still had blackheads on my nose and my skin was not smooth. It smelled clean.

Cons:

I used Proactiv for 2.5 years, and toward the end, I think it was making my skin look tired and dry. Even moisturizer didn't fully fix the problem. Also, it got expensive and I finally decided to just go to the derm.

It kept my acne manageable for a long time. By "manageable," I mean that 95% of the time, I had either no whiteheads or had them only one at a time, and never more than two at a time. My skin has recovered from looking tired and dry since I stopped using it. I definitely think it's worth a try, because you can always cancel your shipments any time you want.

Pros:

I have tried heaps of products and this is the only one that really works.
I have recently been able to buy individual products as needed and now only use the cleanser and lotion regularly and the toner sometimes.

Cons:

It has bleached my towels and pillows even though I try to be so careful to wash my hands throughly after using it.

I have naturally oily skin so the drying effect is good for me. Maybe others should only use it once a day until the skin gets used to it, increasing frequency as and if needed. I find that skipping a day of the cleanser here or there is benefical to my skin and now use the cleanser every second day, making sure that I use the toner and lotion on those days. You must use trial and error until you get the right mix for your particular skin.

Pros:

It works! You must follow the directions, though. Morning and night! DO NOT SLEEP WITH MAKE-UP ON!

Cons:

It dried my face out for the first two weeks I started it, so I bought their moisturizer (which didn't help.) Also, I stumbled upon this website trying to buy JUST a bottle if the renewing cleanser! How can I buy just that withou the 3 step system??

Follow Directions!!
