Pros:

Can actually leave skin feeling fresh.

Cons:

A little bit too expensive.

I suffer from what is called 'vanity acne'. Only a real problem for me, i mean whe i talk about skin problems with others, they simply reply with 'you have good skin. what are you talking about?'. I looked to ProActive to acheive the flawless complexion that we all strive for. I found that when i started using ProActive though, my skin actually got worse. I had more spots than I ever did before. Once i discontinued use, my skin reverted back to it's old self. Although i get the odd spot once and a while, it's bearable and nothing a bit of concealer can't hide.

Pros:

It has a nice fragrance
Easy to Use

Cons:

Expensive
Nothing Worked for Me
Mask dried up my skin like hell

I seriously suggest u read this.If u just got the product and wanna know if it "Works" or not. I used this coz my acne was extremely bad that ppl wud notice it and made me feel embarrassed most of the time. So I NEEDED an acne treatment so I got proactiv. within 3 days i had only ONE PIMPLE LEFT and it was so small too! I was very happy so i kept using the proactive 3 system. Then, guess what? they came back. and they wudn't go away. To top to my current problem, the mask wud make my face SOOO DRY that it wud look even WORSE than it did before I used proactiv. then, I stopped using proactiv and switched over to exposed acne solution. Miracle after using it for a week. I HAD NO ACNE!! just a little. Now I have a very pink complexion, which doesn't look bad at all. So for me PROACTIV SUCKS!!!!

Pros:

Works temporarily. and works on different people -so it might work for you.

Cons:

Made my face red for about a year and greatly irritated and burned my skin. (oobiviously i have sensitive skin.)

Might work for you, and if you have severe acne like i did - anything is worth a try. Just if you're like me and have sensitive skin (like moi) then yoy might wanna restrain from the scrubbing face wash.

Pros:

fewer breakouts, and they heal waaaay faster.

Cons:

dries out your face ALOT for the first two weeks of use. face still gets oily in t zone, but only the tiniest pimples there once in a while.

Like any other skincare product, this must be used consistantly(twice per day!), it takes a few weeks to see results, but it reduces breakouts, and when you do get one, it lasts for 1-3 days. anyone who gets those deep pimples knows what i'm talking about. those suckers can take a week or more to go away.

Pros:

It worked well enough for a few years then seemed to stop over night.

Cons:

It dries out your skin if you don't ease in to using it, or moisturise,

I was happy with it until it stopped working, I guess I built up a tolerance to it. I cancelled my subscription.

Pros:

Smells good, gentle on skin.

Cons:

Only works for certain skin types. Did absolutely nothing for my skin after praying for results for about a year. Am 27 and have had acne since I was 13. This did absolutely nothing but make my skin smell good.

I would recommend that others at least give it a try. But if you don't see results within a few months stop using it. It's not worth the money to keep going.

Pros:

After only two days I did see noticeable results and my skin looked fresher and felt smoother.

Cons:

I had to stop after two days because the area around my mouth burned constantly and felt tight. For three days after discontinuing use, my skin peeled and felt like sandpaper. My olive green pillowcase was bleached yellow after two days of night-use.

I know my skin is sensitive, but the fact that it bleached my pillowcase scared me enough to realize that it wasn't "just me." Knowing something about chemistry, the pH levels of all three formulas is similar to a lot of the strong acids I've worked with. The product is harsh on sensitive skin and, from reading other testimonials, normal skin as well it seems. I will be sending the product back after one week of having it, and I hope to not get charged for another month.

Pros:

Works pretty fast

Cons:

Doesnt work long, or with continuous use, Makes face dry

Don't get me wrong, i use the stuff daily, but if i stop for a while, i'll break out or w/e, and when i start using Proactive again it clears up pretty quickly. But the prolonged use, drys your skin

Pros:

for few days it does cover up skin.

Cons:

ridiculous. skin burns, works for couple of days then BAM breakouts.. doesn't work at all.

looks, if you're here with severe acne that you're looking it up on the internet, then its pretty bad. proactiv is like a JOKE, for those whose acne is nothing compared to what we've had to endure. if you're educated, you'll know all it does is that it blocks the pores, which will only cause HUGE mountains of puss. clever marketing strategies i belive though, "results immediately" yeah results, not effectiveness you morons. results as in the outcome of an action. for me, it was huge breakouts. BOTTOM LINE, if you wanna handle your acne sersiouly, proactiv COME on, what a joke..
