Pros:

NONE WHARSOEVER!

Cons:

-Comes with small bottle.
-Irritates and dries skin out.
-Makes skin itchy and flaky.
-Makes the skin very red.
-Feels gritty ,hot, and dirty when applied.

Cons:

First, you pay WAY too much for a TINY amount your first month. Their "free gift" and half price commercials suck you in. But they don't tell you that you are getting a half an amount for half price. It makes your skin go crazy for the first months. makes it worse than it was. and the second you stop using it. your skin is 5 times worse than when you started. DONT USE THIS! don't even TRY it. My acne was not that bad til I used this.

Not worth any part of it. The money, The hassle or the years it is going to take to get your skin back to normal, Mine is not even close and I stopped using it 6 months ago.

Pros:

the only thing in this whole kit that did any good was the green tea moisturizer.

Cons:

It severely damaged my skin. my acne got worse than it ever was before & worse than I ever thought acne COULD get. It dries my skin out,left it flaky and scarred-Im still trying to reverse & repair what Pro-activ did to me. Ruined my skin, my LIFE.

Proactiv ruined my skin, any left over shards of confidence/self esteem I had..my life

NEVER ORDER THIS PRODUCT - I CANCELLED IN AUGUSTOF 2008 - STILL FIGHTING FOR REFUNDS AFTER CANCELLING CREDIT CARD! ps their customer service SUCKS!

I cancelled credit card after they continue to charge me a YEAR AND A HALF after I cancelled the order. No refund and I need to tell you that this product will irratate you skin. My dermatoglogist said so. DO NOT ORDER - EVER!!! because you cannot ever cancel!! Not kidding!

**THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE ENTIRE 3 STEP PROCESS**
uhm... the refining mask is the only thing that was usable. it works okay if you keep it on over night, but for big pimples it takes 4 days for it to actually work.

Cons:

sometimes makes it redder!
in my case i got more, and then the pimple became more shiney.

i dont think its a good product, the advertising makes it seem like a miricale product when its really not. i dont have bad acne, only 2 or 3 at a time but i want perfect skin and this product didnt help.

Cons:

Expensive, overhyped, con you into buying more.

I tried it years ago, when my acne was milder, and it made things much worse. I recently decided to give it another chance, thinking that since my skin was more mature I'd get a different result. Now I have big, inflamed, painful pimples instead of the smaller ones I had before. I guess it just doesn't work for everyone. Especially if you're not getting paid to say it does.

It cleared up a little bit of my acne

It made my face really dry and it started peeling

Proactiv isn't for everyone. People with sensitive skin should probably stay away from this product. People with tough skin could use this and it would probably help, but everybodys skin is different and not one of the acne systems out there is going to work for everyone, that is why i recommend Skin id by Neutrogena. You take a skin evaluation test and it tells you what kind of acne treatment you should get. I highly reccommend it for everyone cause it will match you personally, but only if you answer the questions honestly.

Broke my skin out worse than it was broken out before I started using it!

Was given to me as a christmas present and the persont hat gave it to me paid $80 for it! For that kind of money, I expected my skin to be as clear as it was the day I was born! I have never had bad acne in my whole life until the last year. I had moderate acne that was not too bad when I started using Proactiv. After a month of using it, I had a bright red rash on the side of my face that made it look like I had terrible acne! This product sucks!

Pros:

intialy it made me feel clean, however it striped my skin of everything..

Cons:

I was red raw, i got deeper more serious acne, i was so under nourished, the product detroyed the natural immunity in my skin, and it has taken 12 months for my skin to work in a normal manner, it caused it to be sensitive which ive never had..

Get educated, and go back to the basics.. nothing works well when you strip it of everything..

more break outs

I used this product with great hope. I am so tired of getting pimples at 30 yrs old when i never got them at 16. i bought the product and used it for amonth .. no improvement. but i figured maybe i need to give it more time. so I continued and now it has been 3 months and i have broken out more then ever before. i am so upset and distressed.
