Pros:

cleanser really good, and sulfur mask does a good job in cleansing face.

Cons:

does take awhile...dont really like oiliness of the toner

really good stuff

Pros:

skin becomes soft and future blemishes go away in less days than they would on their own. skin looks clearer and more balanced.

Cons:

products stains/bleaches everything the cleanser and cream touches. does not have a moisturizer so i wouldn't consider this product for dry conditioned skin/ areas on face. a little expensive. my blemishes are still coming back at same places on face

it's worth a try if you have the money and the patience (to not have anything colored near you when using it (clothes, wash cloth, pjs, etc...)). It took me a little while to understand what was causing the bleaching... so i ended up with a brand new pj and sheet set ruined... I think the 1-2 min scrubbing the face with the cleanser is not necessary and would actually maybe provoke more blemishes. After I finish with the products, I'll try something else if the main ingredient to use is BP. Oh! and if travelling close bottles firmly as the toner and cleanser tend to drip.

Pros:

okayy this stuff really sucks!! i mean the first two days that i used it my skin was glowing and shiny and smooth but it would burn when i used it!!

Cons:

but its been more than a week and my face is really in pain! it burns and is irratating the whole three step process burnt my skin!and now my skin is very red and dry.

if you have sensitive skin DO NOT buy this product because it burns really bad and once you quit you break out worse!i hardly have acne!just small acne whichis hardly noticeable!but once you stop using it for good you might break out a little bit but it will go away on its own!! try noxeema its GREAT!

Pros:

Initially took 6-8 weeks to see dramatic results. Sooth, smooth, and cleared skin. Skin looked healthy and younger. Received numerous compliments about complexion.

Cons:

Can dry skin out and make face tight. Need to read bottles clearly. SOme state apply 3 times a day but if dryness accures cut back to 1-2 times a day.

Been using for two plus years. Notice it stops working after some time. So I use for about six months out of the year and then use another product the other six months. Great for minor acne and blemishes. Have to tweak applications to your skins type. Some skin may require 3 applications while others can only handle 1 or 2.

Pros:

NONE

Cons:

2 Days after using this product, I woke up with my eyes swelled closed from the dramatic allergic reaction I had. I had to drive to the nearest clinic to get a cortzone shot and perscription strength Benedryl and another perscription.

Just because it's designed by dermatologists does not mean it's been proven safe. Fair warning! They claim to have a gentlier formula, but don't trust them.

Pros:

Easy to obtain and to follow as a regime. Works initially...but

Cons:

Dried my skin out really bad, made my skin leathery and gave me dry lines and broken capillaries. It didnt do anything really for my mild/moderate acne and as soon as I stopped I broke out badly. Plus it bleached my towels, bath mat and a few clothes

If you dont have very severe acne I would not recommend it. There are cheaper products available that work heaps better. Dont get sucked into the "celebrity advertising" like I did --- I wasted years on this when it turns out the simple Cetaphil and Benzac regime works better.

Pros:

Proactive is about the only stuff that has helped me as far as medication, but it just helped, it did not fix the problem.

Cons:

You need to keep using it more and more for it to keep working, and if you stop IT'S BADDDDD

I have been using The Secret for the past 5 days, and my skin in amazing. In case you don't know The Secret is a book. The basic idea is that you can have anything you want using the secret, I tried it for my skin and it is working!!!!! I did not know where to post this?

Pros:

did not make my skin worse, cleanser doesn't feel "clean"

Cons:

my skin became immuned to it after about 6 months

I didn't have a terrible experience w/Proactiv...in fact, it did work ok for a while...but after about 6 months my skin became totally immuned to it. I have had pretty serious acne my whole life...have been on EVERY acne prescription drug out there at one time or another (Cleocin, Minocin, Tetracycline, Doxycycline, etc). I even had "acne surgery" (NEVER I repeat NEVER do that) and I was on Accutane 3 times (the limit) during high school & college! I would say that if you're searching for something that works against serious acne, go to a dermatologist. Proactiv might work for you, but be prepared for it not to last (maybe you can end up switching out every few months with another treatment, so that your skin doesn't get immuned so easily). I am trying Murad right now, and it has worked really, really well so far (better than Proactiv did). But if my skin gets immuned to it, then I will try switching between it and Proactiv.

Pros:

Left my face fresh and clean.
Helped get rid of existing scars
Prevents breakouts

Cons:

Dry skin in the first month of using it

I LOVE IT! It worked for me! I've tried most of the products out there over the 5 years I have had breakouts. I've been using Proactiv for 8 months now and my skin is clear. My face is just so smooth and clean. It's all about patience...it doesn't work overnight..but it will work!
