Pros:

it works fast. makes skin feel great..... at first.

Cons:

cant count how many- makes skin feel flaky and skin had red spots. had a breakout in the middle of the day. skin started burning.had doubled the acne along my face.

If you buy this product you have to use it for like ever because if you stop you'll be like me. As for me I kept using it and one day it stopped working I tried to wash it off but that din't work I went to my dermatoligist and he said to stop using proactiv for a while. So I did but it just got worse. Eventually I started using neutrogena skin care and that seemed to clear it up alot.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Results and Price

When I started using Proactive I had combination skin and occasionally expierienced a pimple or two. Proactive made my skin feel extremely greasy. I started developing deep, painful acne on my cheeks; an area of my face where I had never experienced acne before. I am extremely disatisfied with the products and when I called to cancel shipment of the product, the customer service representative was very rude. Please don't waste your money on this product!

Pros:

I didn't see any?

Cons:

Doesn't clear up acne.

I have bad genetic acne and have tried every pill and cream my dermatologist has recommended, and none have worked. In desperation I tried proactiv, and it did not work whatsoever. I did the whole "wait for a few months" and saw no results, except that my face got considerably worse.

Pros:

In the beginning it worked.....

Cons:

....but after awhile my skin must have become what other people have said....immune....it no longer works!!!!!!!!!!

Don't buy the hype...more than likely none of these celebrities have ever had acne....it's called photoshop people...and the bigger issue is that they get paid for it. It'll get you too, it'll work for awhile and then stop...that's what lots of people are saying.

Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

DOES NOT WORK!

Before I used Proactiv, I had very moderate acne...it wasn't that serious but I wanted something to control it. At first (like the first month) I saw results, but eventually it made me breakout more, leaving me with scars. I used it for over a year before I used something else...don't buy into the hype!

Not worth it
I bought this when I was in Asia because of very convincing reviews that I read. However, it did not do the job on my acne. It could heal the existing zits (it takes time) but doesn't stop new ones from forming. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and waited until I used up the whole bottles. It didn't worsen my face, it just did nothing. Considering the price (it was expensive in Asia) and the time you'll commit to see the results, it's not worth it. Hope this helps.

no one to talk to
I find when I call the company I get no help. Either the person on the other end does not speak understandable english or if I ask the person to read to me a list of my products ...they read it to me so fast that it is of no help to me at all. Service is very important and basically there is none.

Bad customer service!
I ordered it the first time never knowing that i have to continue buying their product so about 1 month later they sent me the second package. I returned it and asked them to stop the continuous service. They charged me over $10 for the shipping. I didn't say anything because it was my fault for not knowing to cancel the service in the first place. About 3 weeks ago I received another box and was charged $43.97!! I called them and said to cancel the service but the lady said she will pause the service until September. I was like WTF? cancel it! I returned the box for the second time and just got $31.95 back after 3 weeks. I called them again because I am not paying for the shipping of the box I have never ordered. The guy on the phone was so rude; he won't even let me finished my sentence. They made me pay for the shipping when I already told them I DID NOT WANT IT and canceled the service!! I will never buy their products ever again! Also, not a good product for sensitive skin like mine. I experienced redness and dry skin after using this product.
