Pros:

It smells like the old line of Keri lotions. It redused the redness and the Face the facts book provided me on tips of putting on makeup to avoid future breakouts. the scrub is wonderful!

Cons:

if you have pimples that you have popped (i know its gross), the second step kind of stings, and the mask does not completely get rid of your new pimples over night. At first you might break out just because you are clearing out your poors.

This program works well if you use it regularly, as it describes on the containers, and the amounts it tells you to take. If you have problems, most likely you got it wrong or you skin type isnt right for it. consult a professional before use! People with oily skin must use this product because the benzoyle peroxide does not dry out your skin, it makes it tolerable! I love this product and will continue using it. I recommend it to all with acne problems!

Pros:

Really clears up acne quick

Cons:

Can leave my face real oily or shiny looking sometimes

Proactiv solution works wonders for me, all I have to do now is get rid of some spots,lol. But I think the people who say it doesn't work aren't using it right, or often enough, or has severely bad acne.The price is a little much, but hey, as long as it works.

Pros:

Starts working right away. Skin becomes much more managable. My skin is clear. I occasionally get a blemish, but they are smaller and usually go away in a day.Leaves my skin extremely soft. Basic face washing routine twice a day, Easy.

Cons:

I wish it was cheaper, but if I tally all the other stuff I used to buy that didn't work it's not too bad. I wish the cleanser came in a bigger bottle. Can be drying, but moisurizer takes care of that.

I love Proactiv solution. I have had moderate acne all through my twenties. I have tried everything. This works. My skin is clear and feels soft and fresh. I wear very little make up, and I love how I look.

Pros:

it worked only for my big pimples that are red and have a white head in the middle. and i only have to of those in a week.

Cons:

after 2 months of use it did hardly anything for my white heads and black heads that i have hundred off.

i guess it works for some and doesnt work for others , i was unlucky. so the results for the price didnt convince me to continue to use it. now my skin is 100% better with 3 weeks of using acne complex from murad. the murad has done an excellent job on my whiteheads and blackheads. if you want to use it though i suggest you start of using the acne treatment gel only at night for the first few weeks otherwise you skin may dry out and you can break out even more. so proactiv no but murad yes.

Pros:

I'm 59 years old and still break out like a teenager. Proactiv is the best treatment I have found aside from going to the dermatologist every couple of months. It gets rid of acne fast and helps keep my skin clear. I use it 2x a day.

Cons:

Nothing is perfect. I still break out on occasion. I always run out of cleanser but have lots of the mask left. I wish the cleanser were more economically sold as a separate purchase.

I've been fighting acne for almost 50 years. This is the best over- the- counter product I have ever used.

Pros:

When I first started using it, it worked WONDERS! I was referring it to all of my friends. Seriously, it was amazing and I had really bad acne!

Cons:

I've been using it for around 5years now and I think my skin is becomming "used" to the product. My skin is breaking out like before. It really bums me out!

I would at least try it. Like the website says you literally have nothing to lose. You get a 2 month money back guarantee. However, DON'T STOP USING IT. REGARDLESS OF HOW CLEAR YOUR SKIN IS!!! That was my mistake and now I can't get back to the clear skin that I had. It also bleaches the colour of my clothes. Take that as you will. For me, it was a small price to pay to have clear skin.

Pros:

This is the 2nd time ive started to use Proactiv. The product DOES WORK! I'm on week two and my face is so smooth and a lot clearer. It does tend to dry your face out quite a bit at first, but an oil free moisturizer helps keep it under control.

Cons:

-The bleaching of clothes and towels. Just make sure you wash your hands throroughly after applying!
-It seems expensive but a kit lasts for 3 months. And really if you're buying regular facial wash and acne creams you'd be spending the same amo

Proactiv works. You have to follow the routine though!

Pros:

-great product overall
-easy on the skin (redefines texture and rids blackheads)
-a smooth finish

Cons:

-skin gets dry/flaky on some areas
-bleaches towels, so I have to dry my skin creatively (toilet paper, which is a waste of paper)
-very costly; if you plan to be economical, I wouldn't recommend this product to you

I have seen commercial ads for Proactiv. I have obviously been convinced that "this product works wonders on your skin," which is very true! I have had great experience with it; after a week or so, I kept touching my skin b/c it felt so smooth to the touch, something that I hadn't felt on my face before. If you want a product that would clear up your face within a month, you must give Proactiv a try 'cause it really does improve your complexion. It's very hard on the bank, so plan on saving up to buy. Although it makes your skin become very dry in some places, that is easily prevented with the use of moisturizing lotions and such. I do not have to use a sunscreen in my case and was held under the impression that you did. But opinions don't go for everyone and likewise, you shouldn't take mine to heart b/c everyone's experiences are different. Pros:

I am very pleased with how well pro-active works. I use the body wash on my face everyday in the summer and every other day in the winter with the moisturizer. My acne is 99 % better

Can be somewhat drying if you don't moisturize.

My acne is 99 % better and it was severe enough to scar before. Its the only thing that really works for me. It initially seemed expensive so I spoke with a rep and bought only what I needed instead of a kit. It worked out to be a steal considering what I'd been spending on drug store stuff. I just ordered the makeup and am anxious to try it. Note- I only have to buy more about every six months so the total monthly cost is divided by 6.

Pros:

It has gotten rid of a lot of the redness on my face. My skin tone is a lot more even and i have a lot less acne issues.

Cons:

I haven't noticed anything i dont like yet. It does make you dry but you have figure out how much is right for you. The only thing i'm kind of afraid of is that it might quit working because that's what i've heard from others.

I really like Proactiv. It's too bad that i couldn't of found it earlir. I had been messing around for years with different prescription stuff from a dermatoligist that was okay but it wasn't giving me the results i wanted. I am on doxycyclin too but it was still frustrating to look in the mirror and never be satisfied. With Proactiv looking in the mirror is a lot less stressful process. I really hope it keeps working and my skin continues to improve.
