Hurts alot but doesnt help the acne

HATE IT

It was a couple years ago, I just wanted clear skin. So I got my mom to order me proactiv, i've seen very good reviews on tv, all these celebrites so i thought it might be something that would work for me. ----It didnt do anything. I dont like this product, it was harsh and it hurt but didnt do anything

They are very shady in the way they do business. I signed up for a 90 day supply that was advertised for 29.95 after 30 days I saw no improvement so I contacted them to inform them I no longer would like to use the product and they told me that I still have 2 payments left with a total of 107 dollars.

Not worth the amount charged, and the pricing is miss leading. You are better off getting the same stuff at wallgreens for 1/8 of the price.

Pros:

It makes your pores look smaller.

Cons:

It dries out oily skin and burns when applying the toner. The dryness makes skin itchy.

Im going to stop using it and try something else. Dislike.

Didn't work, bad customer service.

I ordered 3 months supply early last year, and after one month use, didin't see any improvement, so I called then to cancel my further shipments, and then they just keep sending me packages. I called them again, they said I can return the shipments. I've spent about 50 dollars to return those two packages. One year later, today, I've been asked to pay 99.84 dollars, because they sent my info to a collection company, and Proactiv's agent explains that my payment was declined. The fact is I moved to New York at May last year, which is one month after I return their shipments that I didin't want and told them to stop. I realy regrate that I didn't keep any record for the return, because I didn't know they'll bring me the problem after one year. I called them again today, they confirm my account is canceled, and they don't believe that I've returned their shipments. Be careful!!! I saw other similar complains on [link removed] about this company, if you want to return their products and want refund, better to keep your evidence at least for one year!

Cons:

horrible customer service. After initial trial, they ship and charge an astronomical fee. Trying to return product and get refund is very difficult and so far we have not received any refunds, nor the "free" advanced product offered to make up for our dissatisfaction, 6 weeks ago.

Does not work, no change in my blemishes or skin. Bleaches towels and pillow cases -i.e. Ruins them. Cannot return product without an army behind you, that might not work either.

Pros:

did clear up a little bit of acne.

Cons:

red, irritated skin.
peeling skin.
dry.

i have sensitive skin so i think that proactiv was way to strong for me. Even though i did see a little bit of improvement, it left my skin very dry, red and it started to peel. Maybe if i didnt have sensitive skin it would have worked great.

Absolutley fabolous

Cons:

Can be a little drying but with the green tea moisturizer it is quickly resolved

Love it!! I've seen other comments and well not everyone is going to agree with each other. Most people don't like it because they are using it incorrectly. Dime size amounts twice a day is how it is suppose to be used. Many people over use leading to dryness or irritation. Best advice is you don't know til you try it.

Pros:

Makes my face smooth.
After first wk i notice alot of good change.
Bumps are almost gone except a few.
I feel alot better about me.

Cons:

I still have alot of marks on my face but pover time they will go away too as long as this cotinues to work the same.

I really like proactive. I used this proactive 3 yrs ago after I had my son, thats when acne started for me, but I only used it for a month and it worked then to.I just could'ent afford it at the time. I tried mary k sence and a few others but none ever worked like the proactive so I decided to try proactive once again. Once again I got good resaults. I read the doctor suggestion book that came with it and it said "acne is a life time problem for those who get it", so knowing that im gonna continue to use it forever.
