Pros:

Cons:

ALL

They will steal money from your account and tell you they are doing you a courtesy. I bought one shipment and much to my surprise they sent out another kit without my authorization and charged my account. NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Do yourself a HUGE favor.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Horrible customer service!

The customer service individual that worked with me was very rude. I was promised a 60 day money back guarantee and I never received it. Then I called back in and said that I was too late for the money back guarantee. Plus he treated me very very poorly. I work in customer service myself and I know to never treat a customer the way he treated me. I am very upset and would never recommend proactive to anyone!

Pros:

-Products feel gentle and do not irritate skin
-Dermatologist designed

Cons:

-Does not work for everyone
-Made me break out SEVERELY the two times I tried it for long periods of time
-I have heard many complaints about it

Didn't work for me, but for some people, it's their miracle worker. It just depends on the person. I am an R.N. and I personally believe that smearing layer upon layer of products on your skin just unbalances everything. You're better off with a simple, basic regimen like Dove soap, witch hazel, and an oil-free moisturizer.

Pros:

Does a good job of clearing unwanted acne when used properly.

Cons:

May cause irritation if exfoliating the skin with step 1 is done harshly.

So far my experience with proactiv has been great! Not everyone's skin is the same so the results will be noticeable at different times. But I've used it for about 3 weeks and my skin is starrting to look really clear, I love it! I've tried plenty of face washes and none have worked as well as proactiv!(:

Pros:

Got rid of my cystic acne
Repairing lotion has good viscosity
Did not bleach my linens
Green tea moisturizer is amazing
Free deep cleansing brush
Refining mask is nice

Cons:

Expensive for amount of product
Cleanser didn't lather much
Longest lasting hyper-pigmentation I've ever had with any acne

After two months or so, I'm almost completely clear (though I have awful hyper-pigmentation) and am on the last dregs of my three oz bottle of repairing lotion. Compared to Acnefree, Proactiv's BP has a thicker viscosity and is pretty much like a lotion, (though I'd rather it was clear like Acne.org's). The cleanser did not lather as much as I would have liked and the toner wasn't essential to the routine, which made me disappointed in the high price-tag. The green tea moisturizer (free sample size)is amazing. It hydrates and goes on matte. I currently use Acnefree's green tea moisturizer as it is only 10 dollars for 4 oz whereas Proactiv's is 27 dollars an oz. The deep cleansing brush I got for free is also amazing. It is extremely exfoliating and I recommend it to everyone on the Regimen to combat dry and flaky skin. It also seemed to make my hyper-pigmentation fade much faster because of the higher amount of exfoliation it provided. It may or may not be in their catalog now, but the sales rep I IM'd said it would cost 15 dollars and should be replaced as often as your toothbrush but that they do not sell replacement heads. The refining mask is okay. I don't use it often, really just as a spot treatment since it smells funky, but I got it for four dollars on ebay so that's okay. For those who complained that Proactiv bleached their clothes, yes, it can do that. Its a BP solution, that's what it does. Just like Acne.org's BP, it can bleach your clothes and bedding because it is BP. That's why you let it dry before you change or put your face on your pillow. Proactiv essentially works as well as any other BP based acne fighting skincare routine :coughAcne.orgcough: :coughAcnefreecough: but is extremely expensive as you are basically paying 20 dollars a month for one oz of BP. I will be using Acne.org's Treatment from now on as it is 2 dollars an oz and trying out Acne.org's moisturizer against Acnef

Pros:

-Does deliver to its promise
-seems to help clear up old red marks too
-pimples go away quickly, and then they dont come back

Cons:

-drying
-if you ever stop for more than 2 or 3 days, all your acne will come back, full force
-expensive

Bottom line, it works. I have only been using it for about 60 days, but it does work. I stopped for a few days to give my skin a break from benzyl proaxide, and my skin broke out. But to be completely serious, I dont care if it's going to break out when I stop. I just want to have clear skin while I use it. MAKE SURE TO HAVE A GREAT MOISTURIZER.

Pros:

With continued use it clears skin

Cons:

-Expensive
-Have to use it religiously
-Dries out skin
-Thins skin- I had to discontinue use because it thinned my skin so much I looked rubbed raw on my jaw line and started to bleed.
-The sellers do not warn users of al the potential dangers. When using proactive you are not supposed to wax hair inn your face because it thins the skin so much it because dangerous
-Can cause Cystic Acne.

Only works with continued, religious usage. Can be a dangerous product (from thinning of skin and cystic acne) but users are not given adequate warning.

Pros:

None that I found.

Cons:

Broke my skin
Made it much worse
Left me with scars

I bought this on ebay, to avoid getting charged on my bank account as others have reported. I thought since I had light/mild acne this would do just fine. Boy was I wrong. First of all it really hurt my skin. I broke out way worse than I ever have! I'm still dealing with the scars caused by this. Thinking it was just the IB (Inital Breakout|) I carried on until I had used up all the bottles. My skin was in a much worse state than it was to begin with so I haven't bothered to purchase again. It was red, covered with zits and just looked..raw. I switched to a more gentle cleanser and my skin is getting better everyday. Please, please, don't get taken in by the adverts! It's just not worth the risk!

Pros:

. It clears up red spots

Cons:

. It works slowly and it gave me ALOT more acne

Ive tried it out for a week. It might not have been that long but proactiv claims it works fast, however, I saw no positives changes. All I saw was more bad acne than before I used it. Step 3 is really oilly and probably made it worse. thanks alot proactiv.....:/
