Pros:

Not sure

Cons:

makes a mess of your sheets and towels because the ingredients it contains are so chemically harsh. If it can remove the color from sheets what the heck is it doing to my skin?
Also - they autoship which has been nothing but trouble in my book.

Nope - way too harsh for most skin. If you want something harsh you might as well get a prescription from your doctor.

Pros:

Worked...for about four months.

Cons:

-really dry skin
-bleached towels
-expensive

When I first got it, I thought Proactiv was the best thing. It took awhile to kick in and when it did it was great. However, this greatness only lasted for a short amount of time. And it really, really, really dries out your skin. After about 4 months of use, my acne came back, not quite as bad as before but it leaves red marks. Not too impressed.

Pros:

None

Cons:

-expensive
-made acne worse
-dries out skin
-rude people

I have never had bad acne, but I have always wanted to try proactive. When I sw that it was on sale, I decided to try it. I was first disappointed when I was only sent a travel size when I thought that I would be recieving a full sized treatment. After about a week with this product I started to notice a few cystic acne marks (which I have NEVER had), and my face was begining to dry out. Another week went by and my face looked HORRENDUS. I immediately stopped using the product. However it has been 3 weeks since I have stopped using acne and I now have a full face of severe cystic acne. It has completely lowered my self confidence and nothing will work against it. I may even have to schedule a dermatologist appointment and spend even MORE money. I would not reccomend this product to anyone EVER. The people who work for proactive were also extremely rude to me when I asked to cancel my order.

I used to products for a few weeks. I didn't like it and I tried to get a refund but they told me it was too late. A year later and I'm sent another package... I called to ask why my subscription wasn't cancelled and the guy had no answer. Now I have to pay for the shipping both ways to and from my house in order to get a refund for a product that in my opinion sucks.

Pros:

-Helps maintain a level on your face
-Makes your skin look nice

Cons:

-Pricey
-Does not make it acne go away

I started using proactiv a month ago and was fairly disappointed with the results however it was maintaining my skin at a reasonable level albeit not clearing my face completely. I stopped for a week and I broke out again massively so i went back on proactiv and my face went back to the standard it was at during my initial use period in a matter of days.

Pros:

None

Cons:

-Time consuming
-expensive
-just didn't work

When I first started using it, it worked for about 2 weeks, but my skin got severely dry. So one night, JUST ONE I decided to give my skin a break and not use it. It was terrible. I awoke with my face covered in acne. It was so bad that I had an emotional break-down and had to stay home from school, The problem with Proactiv is that it doesn't clean you skin deep down, it just cleans the surface and creates a wall to keep other pimples from surfacing, so the minute you stop using it, acne will be released. I stopped using it immediately. The Green Tea moisturizer wasn't heavy enough for my skin, and thus a waste of money. It also took to long to do everything in the morning. Its just not worth it. I now use Herbaria Biotherapy skincare soap. After about a month my skin is almost completely clear, and i only pay $6 for a bar that lasts me two months. I recommend THAT to anyone.

Pros:

-Has really helped clear up my moderate acne
-Worked fast, within up to a week
-Love the cleanser, it's great for removing foundation
-Skin is fresh and clean

Cons:

-Expensive regimen
-I find that the bottle of cleanser is too small, I buy one extra bottle with the kit.
-Will bleach your face cloths, towels or whatever fabric it comes in contact with
-Very drying to your skin. In the winter I only use the moisturizer at night and use a regular moisturizer in the morning.

I love the Proactiv Solution. I have tried everything from cleansers, peels and facials, nothing was helping. A few years ago I subscribed to the auto-delivery plan and I called to change the frequency of how often I received delivery and the agent chastised me for not using enough of the product on my skin. He did finally relent and changed my plan. Eventually I did try to cancel because I was able to purchase it through the Home Shopping Channel in Canada without having to subscribe to an auto-delivery plan. The agents said that they would cancel my subscription, yet I continually received and was billed for the shipments. I finally started refusing the shipments and marked the packages "return to sender" AND changed my credit card info. The company issued me a collections letter. UGH! Anyways, a sucker for punishment I am, I still use the product but just purchase it from a different source.
