Pros:

acne improved slightly

Cons:

deceptive company
made skin hurt
drying

This is just benzoyl peroxide with a lot of celebrity endorsement. It's also a huge scam. I called to order the $19.95 special they promote all the time. Turns out, it was actually $19.95 (x3months which they automatically billed) and then you're signed up for a subscription service where they continue to send you new kits and bill you until you call and cancel. I only used the stuff for a couple weeks and decided it was junk. I should have sent it back, but i figured it was only twenty bucks and not worth the time and money to ship. Little did I know it was not only twenty bucks, and it was only when I called after getting a surprise second shipment that I found this out. The woman on the phone who I ordered the kit from did not make any of this clear. It's designed to be confusing so that people don't realize what they're signing up for. I feel like an idiot for falling for it.

Pros:

Well, it really works in the first few days(3 to 4 days when i get started).
ANYWAY, IF you do really have an IRON SKIN, PLZ keep using that, i bet u can get rid of your acne SOMEDAY!

Cons:

DRIES OUT OF MY ENTIRE SKIN!!!!!
My eyes area became swelling, red, flaky!!!
MY entire face got SOOOOO red, itch, flaky and peeled!!!

Hi u guys!~ i've been using Proactiv for a few weeks. I first used the 1st generation of Proactiv, for about 1 week. which really makes a big different, u can clearly see the acne in my left cheek has improved well. But i quit use it! WHY? it just made my eyes SOOOO TERRIBLE!! when i wake up every morning,i could feel my eyes cannot open up, so swelling and redness all over my face. At first, i think it maybe my own fault, maybe i shouldn't use the proactiv too closed to my eye area. i looked a lot of commercials about Proactiv on Youtube, that makes my heart so firmly to continue to use Proactiv AGAIN! coz i simply want to get rid of acne instantly!! Then i try to use the 2nd generation of Proactiv, well, i can feel there's a little difference between 2 generations~ in 2nd G, the cleaner doesn't have any sand any more, that is a good point. But, i just find my self doesn't fit for Proactiv, I totally feel DESPERATELY!! My face got sooo red, dryness and very uncomfortable!!! PLUS,when im using it, my chin got some new zits!!!! it just unbelievable!!! Give my HEALTHY FACE BACK!!!!!!! Do you think it's really RISK FREE???!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros:

it may work depending on your type of skin

Cons:

Expensive for NO reason at all
didn't work

I endured hour long testimonials on TV consistently researching online, which finally led to a purchase. Long story short it didn't work. No life changing story here.

Pros:

The spot treatment

Cons:

PRICE
Poor customer service
Tricky sales techniques

The celebs who push this product should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. This company is terrible and has made their money off of smart marketing and then literally stealing money from customers. I ordered a trial sample for $17.00, received my package, used it for a week and had horrible results - then before I could even blink - I received a second package in the mail from Proactive, a package that I did NOT order. Not only did I receive this package of products unsolicited, I was charged $36.00, plus an additional $19.99, which is still in dispute after I sent the package back usps. I immediately canceled my account by 6 months later I am still being billed the $19.99 AND they refuse to credit the $36.00 back onto my account since the issue has taking so long to resolve. I sent the package back last year! This company is a racket and I can't believe people still purchase from them. Do not use proactive - it is a scam!!!

If u are an alligator it might for you.

Cons:

Dry Skin
Irritated skin
Destroys your face
Expensive
Is a Scam

Back in high school my acne was so bad i decided to try proactive. biggest mistake of my life. After two weeks not only was my acne worse my face was so red and dry a girl in the cafeteria told me to go look at my self in the mirror. worse day of my life. I hate proactive so much i hope this company would burst into flames. This product is trash you can find anything in stores stronger and cheaper than this and not as harmful to your skin.

Pros:

if you have IRON SKIN, then you can try it...

Cons:

wondering why it is not sold in drug stores like other products? it is NOT APPROVED!!

this alone should be a RED FLAG.

BEWARE, people are being PAID to write positive reviews about this product. just as the TV ads.

Pros:

I haven't found one pro on this product

Cons:

Everything.

From the minute after using this product my skin was dry,red an irritated. And after about a months use my skin had tiny little red bumps all over it and i still have acne. Not to mention my face is 10 times more oily. This product is way to harsh on your skin.
