Pros:

clears about 50% of acne that is present

Cons:

leaves skin dry after continual use

acne will continue to form

annoying to use every day and night

if not used for only one day your face may break out

proactiv commercials exaggerate the sucess in clearing acne when using the product

The cons outweigh the pros 5 to 1 (although the pro i listed could very easily be viewed as a con). I think that this is a worthless product considering that you wont be able to completely get rid of your acne while spending a long time applying the product when the results arent up to expectations. I am thinking about using accutane or acnepril due to my non-succesful experience with proactiv. If anyone can help me make a decision to use acnepril or accutane please help me make the decision between the two. Also if anyone has knowledge of any other product that will clear my acne completely and clear my acne forever

Its a scam. If a celebrity says its good, doesnt mean it is. Just look at them their horrible acne is normally one bump on their otherwise perfect face!!! this product has a huge price tag for nothing. I think lemon juice or sea salt could do better. my acne didnt chang by the time I quit it was worse it only works on people with light acne try it if you want to waste your money or your super rich, cause i'm not

Pros:

Not bad, but it didn't stop my breakouts.
Refining mask with sulfur is a great overnight spot treatment.

Cons:

BP Cleanser left stains on my bathrobe.
Cleanser is also gritty, like it has sand in it.
Green tea moisturizer stings much worse than the DKR moisturizer!

Tried this for a month. I noticed some improvement, but I still broke out. Things got much better when I started applying much more of the BP, as per DKR. The toner didn't seem to do much for me, except after a workout when I could see it picking up a lot of oil and grime. Best thing about the Proactiv products is the Refining Mask, which has sulfur in it. I tried using it once as a facial mask per their instructions, but it stank to high heaven! Read reviews on [link removed] toting it as being an great overnight spot treatment. Tried it that way and totally concur with the other reviewers. It's an awesome spot treatment!

Pros:

It worked for me and has kept me clear for over two months now.Smells pretty good and seems strong enough to control the acne.

Cons:

I tried the original benzoyl peroxide formula which had me looking like a blowfish.I was allergic to it.So I tried the Salicylic Acid Formula which the gentle formula and presto.I have not had a serious outbreak in over two months.The other con is the cost.Proactiv is way overpriced.Plus you can't buy separate items as you run out.With the Salicylic Formula you HAVE to buy the kit which is about $55.00.Sucks!

I have heard that a lot of people can't use Proactiv.But they may be using a version of the formula that is too strong for them.IF you can afford it, try the Salicylic Formula.It might work.It did for me.

Make face red, caused more acne. Small bottles

The bottom line is this product is meant for people with very bad acne and oily skin. I had moderate acne and when i used it, it just made me breakout worse. I used it for about a month because i know it will get worse before it got better, it just made me worse.

HOW DARE THEY TO CLAIM IT RISK FREE?

I understand how this product works for many, but I've met many others who truely hate this product. I'm sorry for being a negative nancy. BUT this product ruined my life. It ruined my skin i cried every night because before i had light acne/pimples and this product made my face swollen and dry it made my skin crack my pillow was stained every morning, my sister who didn't see me for just 2 month, cried when she saw my face. I was stupid enogh to use it for entire month , because everyone kept telling me "oh it's taking it all out" and it took month to recover my skin, but the scars will never go away. Also it matters where you get your product. I ordered it directly from their web page. they charged me twice, and sent me another set without my permission. i sent 2nd pack back and got refund (without shipment). If I had any money I would sue This company so bad. I know it made many of you happy and I'm sorry, but this shouldn't be marked "risk free"... I never cared about how i look like and i wish i never took friend's advise to use it, I myself didn't care much for my little pimples. Now I'm forever self-conscious .

Pros:

-feels good
-eventually works

Cons:

-STOPS working after a certain amount of time and makes it WORSE
-expensive
-its embarrassing to admit you bought into the product

PLEASE please do not get started on this product. I started with just mild acne, which cleared from the product after 8 months, but after 4 months of clearing it made my skin much MUCH worse. Just dont get started on it. Seriously.

EVERYTHING, IT MADE MY SKIN WORSE. THERE WAS NOT GOOD THAT CAME FROM IT!!!

IT'S CRAP!!! AND I HEARD WHEN YOU TRY TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER- IT'S IMPOSSIBLE. MY FRIEND HAD TO CHANGE HIS BANK ACCOUNT, THAT WAS THE ONLY WAY TO NOT BE CHARGED.

Pros:

Works really well, my acne was gone within 3 days of using this product!

Cons:

smells kind of funky and adds 5 minutes to your routine every morning and night, but well worth it

This stuff actually works and i would recommend it to everyone, all of my friends use it too.

Pros:

I have used proactive for about five months and still have not seen any results.Proactive is a waste of money.

Cons:

It actually made my pimpiles more irritated.

Does not work at all.
