Pros:

My daughter liked the product.

Cons:

They hooked me with a $9.99 intro offer and said I could cancel. When I tried to cancel they kept sending product and charged lots more. I called twice to get it cancelled and they only stopped when I stopped paying for extra shipments. But now I'm being harrassed by a their debt collection agency.

Pros:

You can send it back even if you've used it!

Cons:

Gave me a really bad rash.

I really wanted to like Proactiv but it did nothing for me! I wouldn't say I have sensitive skin but this gave me such a bad rash. It might work for other people, so I'd give it a go but I won't be using it again.

If these team of Doctors truly cared about their customers and wanted to genuinely help people who are suffering from acne to have beautifully skin as they claimed, then: After all these complains from 99% of customers, they would have changed they approach in terms of automatic renewal. Since the product does not work for most people, they need to give customers the opportunity to place a second order on their own free will; hence, they need to remove the automatic renewal from their payment system. If the product is working for a customer then he/she can continue to order, and if it is not working for another customer then he/she would obviously not place a second order. If that is done, then there would be no more of all these complain and possible lawsuit and customers would not be receiving unwanted products in their mail box or surprising charges on their bank statement. If these Doctors are not willing to take this simple approach then I would like to believe that it is definitely a SCAM. They make billions of $$$ by sending unwanted products to customers.

Pros:

Their advertisement are really good you will be convinced to buy one

Cons:

Proactiv is not true to their words
the "60-day money back guarantee" is not really true

I've used it for a couple of weeks and I started to have breakouts and left a mark/scar on my face. I called them and I told them that I want to refund and return the 2nd package I received the girl whom I talked to is insisting that I should give it a try for another couple of weeks because it will really take effect for or after 60 days. what the heck! I returned the package i went to their website and followed the instruction on returning the product. But clearly it was not stated that if you ship it back you need the purolator courier so I shipped it using canada post. And as I tracked the package it was on hold since mar 9, canada post said the driver on the mississauaga postal facility had like an agreement with proactiv returns centre not to deliver the package instead they will pick it up. And until now it is still on the postal facility. I dont know why they are doing that. And it says on their site within 60 days and unopened package they will refund the shipping fee but now they are just refunding $55 I paid for the shipping fee on their "purolator" and for canada post and the trial package that they said can be refunded if you are not satisfied.

Cons:

shipment never came

I ordered this product Jan 31st 2011. It never came. I tracked it on Fed Ex website where it stayed in KY and has been lost. Customer service has been polite, but not helpful in the least. My credit card still has a charge on it and now I am waiting for a letter in the mail to confirm my cancellation or to have them reship. This is horrible customer service. I just called today, MARCH 1st and they said they just mailed out the letter and now I have to wait 7-10 business days for that! I'm so sick of dealing with this company, I don't even care about the product anymore if this is how they conduct business. Good luck getting your product or a refund or a customer service agent w/a brain that can actually do something.

Pros:

-Smells good
-Appears to work for celebrities

Cons:

-Hurt my face
-Dried it out
-Acne became MUCH worse, even after over 3 months of use!

Before going to college, my sister and I decided to both try out Proactiv to clear up mild acne (not red or painful, and mostly along the hairline and forehead). I figured, "What can I lose? If it doesn't work, I'm only out $40." After seeing advertisement after advertisement, I was eager to try out this treatment. I used it faithfully, twice a day every day, but almost from the outset I started to break out. My skin was irritated and red, and I began to break out in places I had never had acne before (all over my cheeks and jawline). The more acne I got, the harder I scrubbed with Proactiv. 3 months later, my face looked terrible. I stopped using Proactive and was so disappointed. I hoped that discontinuing use would help my skin return to its previous state of light acne, but alas, 2 years later my skin is still broken out. I have not been able to clear up the acne that Proactiv unleashed and have been through a continuous cycle of breakout after breakout. I truly wish I had never bothered with Proactiv at all. The scrubbing beads are too harsh! I started Acne.org's The Regimen a few days ago and my skin is looking and feeling the best it has in 2+ years. My advice about Proactiv: If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. Read Dan's comments about Proactiv--I agree completely!

Pros:

None

Cons:

Expensive,Proactiv charged me 3 times for 1 shipment even though I had an email from them confirming my membership cancellation. It dries out your skin! After I would wash my face, it would be very hot and red. My skin got even redder insted of evening out the tones.

Dont buy it!!!!!
