Pros:

Works really well for me. When I stop using it I break out. When I'm on it I don't except for the occasional pimple. I've been using it for a few years and it has consistently worked well for me.

Cons:

It will indeed bleach certain died fabrics like clothes and towels. That's true for any peroxide. It is annoying and requires care to avoid. Also somewhat expensive but in the end worth the result.

I left the US for a year and only brought the surplus of lotion I had with me. Used a store bought cleanser (though not peroxide based) and alcohol free toner along with the lotion and it did not work as well. Maybe it was due in part to being in a different country with different environmental factors but now that I'm back in the US and back on the system it seems to be working again. Again I've been using it for years and am fairly convinced it uniquely works for me. HATE the way it bleaches some clothes and towels though. Have to be really careful.

Pros:

Works well for me refining mask is the best step for my skin and i use it everyday.

Cons:

There is nothing bad about proactive, everyone cant use the same product, certain products work for different people and when i used proactive it worked for me !

Proactive is a great product and worked on my skin and acne!

Pros:

leaves a clean feeling.

Cons:

makes my skin dry and oil at the same time, a bit expensive

over all my skin did not clear up. The product just wasnt for me. but it might work for someone else, since everyones skin is different.

Pros:

Proactiv really rocks. Hi Proactiv and buy buy acne

Cons:

Final results: Clearer, healthier and beautiful skin.

Just 3 steps system make your skin very smooth, clear and wow. Now i feel very proud of my beautiful skin. thankz proactiv Its the most imp. part of my life same as my wif .

Pros:

NO new acne breakouts, acne cysts finally starting to heal, red marks finally starting to fade, blackheads dried up and pores minimised, smooth skin, CONFIDENCE finally returning!!!!!!

Cons:

Drys skin out COMPLETELY! 3 days after using this my skin was literally flaking off my face. It hurt to even raise my eyebrows as my skin was so tight! Had to mositurise 6x/day to fix this, currently 4x/day to prevent it.

Before using proactiv, I had acne cysts on and under my chin, bumpy red acne on my cheeks, and enlarged pores. I had tried other products, most would treat my CURRENT acne cysts but new ones were constantly appearing. It was a constant battle. Acne on my cheeks would last 2 weeks, then be replaced by horrible red marks. I noticed results after 3 days using proactiv. I have been using it almost 3 weeks now, in that time I have had NO new cyst breakouts. My chin area is FINALLY starting to heal, & the red marks on my cheeks starting to fade. My skin is so smooth, & from my cheekbones up looks so clear! My pores have been minmised and blackheads dried up. I have had COMPLEMENTS, & been told my face looks so much 'brighter'! I obviously still have acne, but it is all old acne that is healing nicely. The areas previously not affected by acne but by enlarged pores & blackheads look BEAUTIFUL! smooth & clear :) I recommend this for moderate acne, it gives you your confidence ba

Pros:

My skin is very smooth now. I do get blemishes, but they go away very fast. I love the way it treats my skin :)
It also reduces the scars on my face

Cons:

You have to buy the whole package if you've run out of just one of the substances

This is the only product that has worked for me in my whole live! I've tried everything, without succes!

Pros:

I have normal to oily skin, a lot of surface pimples but suffered from many blind pimples around my chin. Proactiv cleared everything up in about a month, & prevents anymore breakouts.

Cons:

It did dry my skin out terribly - it gives you that really 'squeaky clean' feeling leaving your face feeling really tight. Skin around my cheeks & under my eyebrows started peeling & flaking. Be sure to wash hands well after use as can bleach towels!

A great product to give you a quick fix to acne & blemishes. I have been using Proactiv for a few months now & am still impressed with the results. I personally don't like the green toner, this is what completely dried my skin out. I only use the cleanser, repairing lotion, & oil-free moisturiser & my skin is back to being smooth & flawless!

Pros:

It clears up your skin if you have acne but not severe.

Cons:

You need a GOOD moisturizer, and you have to stay committed

I first started to use proactive about 3 years ago and I got beautiful results my face cleared up relatively fast. But then I went to the Dominican Republic and my nose burned off due to the fact that proactive makes u more sensitive to the sun which can be fixed with sunblock buti 'm an idiot. My mom stopped my proactive in about 4 months my skin slowly became more oily and i began to break out worse than i have ever had. I began to get cystic acne the size of quarters.. so i went back to proactive thinking that i would get the same results and it actually got worse BUT keep reading it gets better... i ordered the extra strength system and my face cleared up it jus took a little longer since i broke out a lot but the proactive lady told me on the phone that when u stop your skin sort of builds a wall to that amount of bp or something like that. SO IF YOU GO ON PROACTIVE AND UR SKIN CLEARS UP DONT STOP.. she said if ur skin stays clear for 6 months u can go to a lower forumla

Pros:

Seriously! it works! it really cleared up my acne! I still get the occasional blemish, but really it works! you just have to be consistent!

Cons:

-sorta dries out your face, but cetaphil cream moisturizer does the job!
- Skin is somewhat uneven and pimples are redded and enlarged after use, but just IMMDIATLY after use- skin doesn't stay like that!

I have moderate acne and im telling you what! proactiv really did the trick! i have like 2 pimples on my face right now and by tommorow they will probably be almost gone! The secret is to be paitent and consistent! none of these side affects occured to me accept dryness! But i didn't skip a day yet, but am FREAKEN AFRAID TO! Anyways, remeber, if you REALLY do have -ACNE -COMBINATION TO OILY SKIN -AND SKIN THAT IS NOT SENSITVE OR ALLERGIC TO BENZOL PEROXIDE then the product is right for you! And remeber this is was made by dermatologists, and designed specifacly for people currently with acne, not for people who want to prevent it! My sister 's dermatologits told her that proactiv accuatly is effective and works, and is a good product, but is not strong enogh for sevre acne! the people who write horror stories about it are the people who used it impropperly, have sensitive skin, and probably don't have "Real Acne!"
