Pros:

It cleared up my acne, slightly

Cons:

It makes you skin SO dry, I found it hard to even wear foundation.
It works for about 2-3 months, then stops working entirely.
I wasted my money on this for like 1.5 year and it only worked for 3.

Doesn't work for everyone.

Pros:

Works well for me, it kept the acne away quite nicely.

Cons:

Skin is very dry. The more moisturizer I use, the dryer it gets. My skin is dull, sensitive, and I just look at a light bulb and get freckles. It is also a longer regime before bedtime than I like.Started using twice a day, then once, still dry.

I am switching back to my previous skin care. I had occasional breakouts on it, but the rest of the time, my skin felt and looked great. I have found that you have to find what works for you. Try it, other products, and pick the one that works best for you. This one worked for me as far as losing the acne, but the other effects just aren't worth it.

Pros:

It seems to work decently well after about a month for me, but clearly it works better for some.

Cons:

After that magical month, it no longer has an effect. It seems to be the factor that causes big red cysts zits to appear. It makes your skin very dry, especially around the neck so make sure you use moisturizer. Expensive. MAKES YOUR SKIN SUPER DULL.

Product starts well, sucks later. I could handle the dryness since it was giving me decent results. It stopped causing acne that formed in huge bunches and I just had randoms which I could deal with. It seems though that it doesn't really stop acne from coming, but gets it to go away in about 3 days to a week. Unfortunately even though its clearing those, new ones keep coming in. Now, and the reason I'm even looking on these sites is to find out why my skin is so dull. I usually got a tan going on and couple weeks ago I put my arms beside my face...basically I'm brown in the arms and pale in my face like I havn't been outside in years. After checking it out, I think its the benzoyl peroxide that causes the dullness and pale face but it's just really annoying being that pale. So I just stopped using it like 2 days ago and nothing too intence has happend yet. I'm starting to see new acne forming in new parts so that sucks. Any info on the dullness let me kno @ sousa.j@[link removed]. thanks

Pros:

My skin was smoother after about a week.
It also exfoliated my skin.

Cons:

It dried out my skin really bad. I'd put tons of moisturizer on and I'd still have tons of little flakes. It also never really got rid of the acne.

It's done a better job at clearing up the acne than anything else I've used, but my skin has never been this dry before in my life. Before I started using this, I had oily skin. I'd rather deal with oily skin than dry skin. After about a month I stopped using the toner and repairing lotion because those dried my skin out the most. My skin still hasn't completely cleared up.

Pros:

A PROACTIVE USER THAT ALWAYS COMES BACK

Cons:

My skin is never a 100% clear

Proactive is the best skin care line for me, compared to anything else I have tried. Whenever I stray I always come back. I stopped using Arbonne Clear Advantage cuz it sucked and immediatly when I used Proactive my skin improved in skin tone eveness, and clarity. I alsos love the fact that it exfoliates my skin which is something that everyone needs to keep that top layer of skin looking new. I love it!

Pros:

I am a woman in my late 20's and have developed adult acne. this product cleared my acne after 1+ month. Best regime line I have tried.

Cons:

somewhat expensive but it delivered for me

You must use the entire 3 step regime plus the mask occasionally. If you only use the cleanser, it may make your problem worse. I only used the cleanser for 1 year with no reduction in my acne then I switched to the 3 step regime and now I am clear. Consistency and following directions is the key.

Pros:

Good ad campaign.

Cons:

doesnt help that much

It doesnt make my skin worse like other people say it does to them, but it doesnt get rid of my acne completley. I have moderate acne but I think it only helps light acne

Pros:

clears up skin after several days of using it, able to get results applying only once a day, more effective then the generic imitation brands, customer service accommodating to my preferences

Cons:

expensive, required club membership for discounts, must continue to use product to maintain clear skin, the renewing cleanser runs out before the toner or lotion, small breakouts during specific stage of menstrual cycle,

You must keep using to have consistent results. But it is very expensive. I had moderate acnee for 3 years, so I ordered proactiv. I was able to see results with less consistent use then was recommended on the bottle. I initially only used it once a day and saw results in several weeks( for 6 months). I was then able to maintain results using it every other day (3 months). I purchased separately some generic brand cleanser and toner because I run out of the proactiv brand. I had effective results using a washcloth to remove the dead skin cells before applying the treatment. (2 months.) For a month I discontinued the treatment only scrubbing my face with the washcloth and was surprisingly able to maintain clear skin. The breakouts have now come back again and spot treatments with only the toner help but my blemishes still remain.

Pros:

It cleared my acne within the first two days. My skin looks much less oily than it used to be.

Cons:

It really dried out the skin around my nose, mouth and along my jaw line.

I haven't been using it for that long so I can't really say how good it is yet, but I do think that it's worth trying. I'm going to try the Green Tea Moisturizer to hopefully help with the dryness. I do think that it just takes time and persistence in order to make the product work. Nothing ever works right away, so give it a few weeks before you get rid of it altogether.
