Pros:

Seemed to work really well for me, and it worked quickly.

Cons:

It gave me severe headaches to the point I saw multiple doctors before I realized it was the Proactiv causing them. It also bleaches fabric and hair (eyebrows).

I actually really liked the product, and I have tried just about everything, including Accutane. But around the time I started using it, I got severe headaches every single day. I saw multiple doctors for the headaches and even had an MRI done to rule out a brain tumor. But shortly after that, I ran out of Proactiv and couldn't get more for about a month. Around this same time, my headaches went away. But I didn't put the two together until I started using it again, and the headaches came back. My husband asked me if I thought it could be the Proactiv causing the headaches, so I started tracking my headaches and noticed that I only got them on days I used Proactiv. I haven't used it on two months, and haven't have a single headache. I was disappointed because I liked what it did for my complexion, but I just can't handle the headaches every single day. Has anyone else had headaches?

Pros:

It leaves your face reeeeeally soft, and for the most part prevents any breakouts.

Cons:

Sometimes my face stings when I use it.

If you want it, get it.

Pros:

This Proactiv Solution works wonderfully. It clears up old acne, and prevents new acne from occurring...So long as you follow the regimen and Treat your face gently and patiently. It makes your skin really soft and also clears scars.

Cons:

I am allergic to BP my face is itchy and a little bit red. Almost like a small sunburn. But not bad.

Even though I am allergic to BP, this product still worked well! But as I said before you have to be gentle with your face. My irritation to BP causes my face to get really itchy and a slight bit of redness occurs. But from reading on the forums, I've learned that when first using BP this is normal. As long as you don't scratch your face this stuff really does work! The acne is one less problem you have to stress about.I recomend that people try at least the trial version, they sell it on T.V. now for $19.99! Be aware that this wont work for alll skin types because everyone has different types of skin. But it is worth a try! :P

Pros:

Nice, easy daily regiment. Seems to be working.

Cons:

Reorder process. I do not like the fact that I have to sign up for automatic shipments to get a good price.

My tween daughter has acne. I never had acne so had no idea what to do. We tried all the soaps, etc. in the stores for oily, acne skin and finally tried Proactiv last month. I is working pretty well for her. Now it is time to reorder but I do not want to commit to getting the shipments automaticly. What's a Mom to do?

Pros:

This product works really well. The toner refreshes and leaves your skin feeling clean and soft, and the repairing lotion didn't dry out my skin and I saw results the very next day after use.

Cons:

The renewing cleanser smells bad.

I have ordered proactive for years now. I don't use this product consistently; only when I need to. This is the product I always go to when I have a breakout or a blemish. I put it on at night before I go to bed and the next morning I'm virtually free from whatever problem I had the day before.

Pros:

Makes my skin feel smooth

Cons:

Takes a little time

Has worked best on my oily skin than anything else over the last 25 years. Must use consistently. I've managed to scale it back from the 3 steps to 2 steps in the morning and 2 in the evening and works just as good. Won't use anything else and have just started my teenager on it.

Pros:

-stops big breakouts
-skin is left feeling clean and really soft
-i saw results after the first 2 weeks.

Cons:

-can dry out your skin (mine never dried out that bad)
-doesn't work for some people

I totally think it's worth it. After i started using it a few of my friends got it too. If used consistantly it does work, but sometimes it just takes longer for other people. It's really good for when your in highschool thats for sure.
