Pros:

Works in 2 weeks

Cons:

You need to keep using this product forever! It doesn't really make your acne go way just less viewing.

Don't get this product unless you really don't mind using it forever! and it makes your skin dry and more sensitive. I started using it 4 years ago, and after a year i stoped, my face got worse, I had to see the doctor and used many other products. At the end I had to go back to Proactive, but it didn't work as well as it did to me 4 years ago, and the result was slower (almost 2month). after using it for 6 month, i stoped again. It's been almost 3weeks now and still counting, right now i have very tiny ones coming out... just like what happend to me when i first stoped proactive, but this time im going to fight it !!!!! becuase it really makes your skin look old and dry.

Pros:

*Clears Skin With Continued Use

Cons:

*Dries Out Skin
*Expensive

I used this product for about a year and it cleared my skin pretty well. The auto-charge was annoying but you can call them and change it so you can pay it AFTER you receive the product. I stopped using it and it all came baaack! Keep using it, dont get lazy and stop using it. If it dries out your skin try only using the 3-Step at night and a good exfoliater and maybe a light oil free moisturizer in the morning. Then your supply should last twice as long so you can go in and change your account to receive it only once every 90 or 120 days instead of 60. Also if you notice you only want the cleanser you can change your account to just get 3 cleansers (or 2 cleansers and a lotion etc.) If you are tired of wasting your money in drug stores on empty promises and you can afford it, DO IT! My self esteem has tripled.

Pros:

There is improvement.

Cons:

Extremely irritating, stops working after a while, and kind of a pain to apply all three steps.

I used this product for several months before finally giving up. My moderate acne cleared some but no where near completely, and it just wasn't worth all the irritation. My skin burned terribly, got red, got dry, ect. It bascially just hurt.

Pros:

It smelled good

Cons:

It was horrible. I used it a month and my skin was worse than ever. It hurt, was red, very dry and peeling, and didn't get rid of any acne at all. It just made my skin worse.

Don't buy it!

Pros:

Every now and then it will have a miraculous, breakthrough, and my skin will be clear for a few days.

Cons:

Other than that, it had no effect. If anything, my skin seems to be getting worse. I used to only get acne on my forehead, but now it's showing up on my cheeks, and under my nose. It didn't say which order to use the "daily oil control" in, either.

It's a suckish product. Don't waste your time.

Pros:

It smelled good and it was cheap.

Cons:

didnt work. i only used it for a couple of days n my skin was already drying up.It dried up so much i coudnt even move my face.and i only used it once a daywhich is less than required.

Bottom line my skin got so bad that i looked like an old lady and im a teen. I was so angry i cried so what i did was call, cancel my account and return the product for a refund. They also made me mad because they told me that what had happened was because my skin was sensitive.nonsense.the product doesnt work!

Pros:

Im a darker skinned individual, so i can use this proactiv 2-3 times a day, and thats the only way it works, if you use it at least twice a day, every day, if you go more than a day without using it you break out.

Cons:

It contanis a mild bleach, so it may be harder on your skin if you're a pale skinned individual. and it will take the color out of clothes, and bleach your hair ( even facial hair).

I like it and would recommend it. but I'm sure there's a better way to get rid of your acne.

Pros:

worked well at first, cleared most of what was on my face. I liked the cleanser and renewing treatment the most out of the regime, and ditched the toner in less than two months.

Cons:

expensive, must buy online for advertised prices, will rope you into their "club" and charge your credit card without warning after your first shipment...

short-term effects: good. long-term? you're on your own unless you have money to spare.

Pros:

Worked well (at first); easy to obtain (no prescription needed).

Cons:

As with every other topical medication I've used, my skin eventually became acclimated to this product and its effectiveness eventually decreased. I'm still using it, but my skin is back to its pre-treatment state so I'm seeking other options.

It worked very well for me at first, so I'd say it's worth a try. I absolutely love the exfoliating scrub combined with the toner. Also, the refining mask is pretty decent. I find that if I use that several times per week, it tends to minimize any existing breakouts. The mask is also somewhat effective if you dab a little on a zit before you go to bed. Bottom line? Give it a shot. Some people have found great success with Proactiv ... but not me.
