Pros:

I noticed some improvements.
They have good customer service

Cons:

It didn't not get rid of my acne!
My face started to ich like crazy in the beginning, it went away and then it came back after a month.
The bottles are tiny!
When you sign up, they automatically put you on a schedule and they will continue to send you their products. So that doesn't work if you don't like it.

I am 20 years old. I never really had acne until I graduated high school. And then it was just really bad and now I am always breaking out. I have never had clear skin since. I was really disappointed with proactiv. I had heard stories of people that my friends knew, and it worked for them. They had REALLY bad acne too! And my acne is only on my cheeks so I thought it would definitely work on me. The directions are weird so I wasn't always sure if I was using the right amount. I think I was trying to convince myself that it was working, but it just didn't get rid of my acne. I think it might have started to a few times, but then it would just get worse again. It made me really frustrated. So now I'm breaking out even more and it is embarrassing.

Pros:

It had a great fragrance, the mask really helps with pimples, i usually put a little bit on my pimple and the next morning the pimple had calmed down a bit.

Cons:

It made my skin REALLY! dry and itchy, i had dry flakes all over my face and even looked like an old lady, i stopped using it and i only attempt to use it when i have bad pimples but still i can' get my face back to normal as it is still dry.

I wouldn't recommend it for people with sensitive skin and really only buy it if you have BAD BAD BAD! acne.

Pros:

It made my pores smaller and softened skin. They have good advertising because it's the only thing off the TV I have ever been sucker enough to buy!

Cons:

Still had the same amount of breakouts. Time consuming. Expensive (small bottles).

I've been using the stuff for about 3.5 weeks and I haven't really noticed a difference. It seems that the breakouts moved from my jawline to my cheeks and they seem to be redder and more obvious. I don't want to say this product doesn't work, but it hasn't worked for ME. I haven't used it long, but I don't know that I want to risk being able to return it. It's very time consuming and pretty expensive considering it hasn't shown me much of a difference from Clean 'N Clear...lol! Good Luck!!!

I started this product around 6 months ago for mild acne. It took a couple of months to work, but I had clear skin for a while. Then, all of the sudden, my skin got REALLY dry, and I got red bumps on my forehead. I tried some other things, but eventually started using proactiv again...big mistake. I woke up the next morning with swollen eyes and itchy dry lips. Even though the product worked at first, I still developed an allergy. Use with caution!

ehh
As a freshman in highschool, I had minimal breakouts. I used proactiv day and night and my skin never looked better. It made my skin brighter, more even, and clear. After a week and a half of treatment, it literally burned off my skin. I stopped the use of proactiv, suffering from peeling dry skin for nearly 6 months, all over my face. SO unappealing, SO itchy. After i stopped using this product, my skin also became oilier. do not reccomend twice a day use. do not use if you have even slightly sensitive skin. not a fan

Pros:

Works well.

Cons:

Too pricey!

Used Proactive successfully for YEARS. Found that Walmart's Equate brand Acne Treatment System contains EXACTLY the same ingredients. After approximately 5 months of using the Equate product, there is absolutely no difference in the results I experienced all those years using Proactive. The 3-piece Equate kit costs $11.97 plus tax - almost a 30% savings. AND, you can purchase each piece of the 3-piece system separately, when YOU need it, for $4.12 each. Really? No brainer for me.

Pros:

Did great at first

Cons:

Burns!
Red and Irritated Skin.
Dry Skin.
Takes to much time.
Made me feel oily and dirty.
Price
Company seems needy and greedy

Proactiv was great the first few weeks. Family knew a few people, who use and liked it. Sadly it didn't work on mine. And it is way over priced. We canceled our subscription and they won't leave us alone! Telling us we need to renew. hehe...no

Cons:

I have never had sensitive skin issues but the product caused me to break out into a rash. Customer service was TERRIBLE to deal with when I tried to return the product, then three months later started charging me again, stating I never cancelled. I was told I would get a refund only when I returned the products I allegedly received in those three months, but I had not received any because I had cancelled my membership.

I had light acne that had never required a trip to the dermatologist, I just wanted to clear some occasional breakouts, so maybe the product was just too strong for me. I have heard many success stories from people with moderate to severe acne. The customer service, however, ruined this product for me. I never got a refund because I could not return products I wasn't receiving. For the company to stop sending me the product and charging my card, then begin charging my card again three months later and say they had sent me products during those three months makes no sense.

Pros:

I liked the way it made my skin soft.

Cons:

didnt get rid of all acne, expensive, had to deal with the company for 2 months before they left my bank account alone.

I used this product while I was on antibiotics, and they worked really good together, but after I stopped using the antibiotics, the proactiv wasn't so great on its own. I used proactiv for about 3 years, I stopped using it because I figured I could go to walmart and get nuetrogena and have the same if not better results for a lot cheaper. Proactiv would probably be more fit for someone with light to mild acne and money to spend. I would not suggest letting proactiv have access to your banking information/ direct payments out of your account. I called and cancelled my order about a month and a half ago, and they said I would not be charged again and sure enough today I had a pending payment from proactiv in my checking account. And if you send proactiv back as a refund, make sure you get a tracking number, otherwise youll have to wait 5-6 weeks just for a refund.
