Pros:

Works sort of, keeps my skin ok
when first started using it my skin was really really bad, with deep bruising pimples everywhere, and it improved quite a bit to begin with

Cons:

doesn't totally clear up skin
leaves skin dry
still get pimples and little blackheads

Not a long term solution. I use it every day, twice a day as recommended, properly, and it isn't everything thats promised. I still get a couple of deep bruisy pimples, and still gotta squeeze my blackheads. I think also makes scarring worse coz it drys your skin out so much.

Pros:

it does work for me i had severe acne and now evryone say my face looks way better than i used to

Cons:

way too much expensive hard for a student like me to afford often, customer service is horrible, dry out the skin, smell bad, works for acne but leaves a lot of scar.

i've been using this product for 1 year and glad that it worked but too much money for me now i just switch to another one that my dermatologist recommend its really really gentle for sensitive for skin you can feel it when you put it on your face think you guys with less money should try it it called Cerave you can purchased it at any local drugstore like Rite Aid. anyway if you use Proactiv definitely pair it with seperate moisturizer if you dont want your skin flake out.

Pros:

none

Cons:

expensive for what it is. it doesn't work for spotty pimples

it is the same thing you can get for a fraction of the price at drug stores. My dermatologist cousin told me the main ingredient is Benzyol Peroxide, which is something you can easily purchase anywyere for cheap with the same effect. Furthermore, you end up with tons of cream and not enough toner. They send you a set every month, which is too much to begin with, and totally annoying when you have to stop the order cause you ended up with 3 sets you haven't even opened yet.

Pros:

Since the Proactive System is primarily based on doses of low percentage BP, it essentially works the same way as The Regimen. Because of this, it is fairly effective at ridding the skin of acne.

Cons:

The biggest Con for me was that their "30 day Trail Size Supply", keyword being "supply", did not last 30 days. I used it as directed and it only lasted me about a week, and I don't have absolutely terrible acne either.

I wouldn't bother with the Proactive treatment again, there are more effective and better value products out there, like the Regimen. One more thing that should be pointed out is that they will automatically send you a 60 day supply whether or not you ask for it. I found out much to my surprise that my Visa had been charged without being informed prior. I was not pleased to say the least. After speaking with customer service and reviewing the order form on their website, the small print does state that they will ship and charge a 60 day supply after my 30 day "supply" should have run out. Some may say convenient. I would say unnecessary and bothersome. In summary, spend your hard earned money elsewhere. The products with the flashiest infomercials aren't always the best.

Pros:

It seems to work at first, but immediately stops after the first 3 uses. Proactive Solution doesn't smell that bad, but the smell can still bother some people with sensitive noses and/or allergies. And it doesn't dry out your skin. Pain-free.

Cons:

It's expensive - not worth the price at all. Doesn't seem to work for people with skin like me. Way too complicated of a plan to stick to if you're using the 5 step-kit (like I was).

It didn't work at all. After my first use, I was so happy because it really seemed to work! Then the next day... I wanted to cry. It made my breakouts even worse than they were before and they hurt. I was so mad and I was just thinking to myself, what a waste of money. Now, I know that people have different skin types, so I'll believe it if this works for some people, and if it does, then that's great. Personally, I would not recommend trying it. If you must though, then I suggest you read reviews first and do a trial offer rather than just assuming that it works since the celebrities claim it does and just buying it without being able to get a refund. And also, don't get your hopes up. That goes for any product.

Pros:

It seemed to help , but the improvement wasn't enough to warrant the price. I think it might work if you have a real acne rather than if you have hormonal pimples.

Cons:

Expensive.
Did not seem to work on my daughter's hormonal pimple problem.

I purchased this for my daughter who is 12 and has pimples on her T-Zone which seem to get worse with her monthly cycle. She used this religiously for a couple of months and did not get much of a result. It helped, but not any more than clearsil. The mask is the only thing that, in my opinion, is worth the money. If you have a real "acne" problem, this product may work for you, but not for preteen hormonal "pimples" on the forehead, nose and chin. I paid about $60 for almost a month's worth of the product and got the same result as the generic $20 similar product in walmart.

Pros:

it does not have a offensive smell easy to use.

Cons:

it clears your acne for about a week and then just stops working all together. There are to many steps for something that doesnt work not to mention it is over priced. In the end it gave me acne on my face where i had never gotten it before.

this product does not work like they say it does

Pros:

I purchased the 30-Day trial of Proactiv. I love it so far. Clearing up my skin very well and people are noticing the difference. My face has become smoother and I feel confidence.

Cons:

I have sensitive skin so the toner tingles after a couple of uses but goes away after like two minutes. Other then that everything is fine.

Dosent work automatically, just takes some time.

Pros:

Works on and off

Cons:

Itchy, dry skin. Not enough moisture in the lotion at all, especially for my skin.

It works the first few times but then after a couple days, you start to break out. Then about 2 or 3 days after breaking out, you are really clear, and so on. It makes my skin dry, because there is not enough moisture in the lotion, and i need some more, different lotion on my face but im not sure if i should mix products. I am still using it, but am thinking of switching cause it doesn't fill all the requirements that i need. I have found another product, that i think will work a lot better than proactiv. It's called "Murad" and it's basically just like proactiv, because it has the 3 step process and everything. But it's different because it uses a milk base i guess, to make your face soft and still clear acne. So if anyone needs another product, you can look that up. I still have yet to buy it. Anyways, proactiv is not as good as people advertise.
