made skin v dry!

Cons:

didnt help much with acne
v drying

didnt really help my skin and found it to be quite drying!

Pros:

-It smells great.
- I love the way it feels on my skin

Cons:

- my face broke out more since I've been using it
- it's expensive

Before using this system, I had periodic break outs but they weren't too bad. Once I started using it (and continued to use it for 4 months) I found my skin was continually breaking out.

Pros:

Makes your skin feel tighter
Really good for bacne

Cons:

Irritates skin
Drys out skin

I've used the whole kit for about 6 weeks. The first two weeks it seemed to be working. But then my acne started getting worse. A lot. More people started noticing it than ever before. The pimples on my forehead were a lot more red. It did make my skin feel tight but my acne was still there. However, i used the 2nd and 3rd step on my back, and it worked really really good !

Pros:

Works wonders for the first 2 weeks
Easy to use
Doesn't burn/peel/dry out skin

Cons:

After 2 weeks it stopped working and I am back where I started
The lotion is very irritating when you have any inflammation
Costly

It does work but it doesn't last unfortunatly, I am waiting till it runs out then moving on to a new product.

Pros:

None.

Cons:

I'm almost convinced this product gave me Perioral Dermatitis. Aftter 4 days of using it, my skin became very dry and itchy, and I broke out in a rash all over my eyelids, mouth, and jawline. My skin is now bumpy and red

I'm going to see my doctor ASAP to get treatment for my Perioral Dermatitis.

made acne wayy worse!

I used to have about 4 pimples (small) on only my forehead i switched to this and have like 5 on my cheeks and like 10 grouped together on my forehead and 1 on my chin. its AWFUL. but i'veonly used it for almost 2 weeks and i hear it better. I sure hope so!

Pros:

Keep the receipt and you can get your hard earned money back.

Cons:

Way too drying. Did not work at all for me.

I've struggled with cystic acne since 11 and I'm 29 now. I originally went to the Clinique counter to buy a stronger moisturizer because my acne gets so dried out that it cracks and sometimes bleeds after I wash my face or smile. I used the 3 Step System for 6 weeks. Like any new acne product, I expected a bigger breakout for the first week. It never got better and actually I've had the same pimple since I started using it. I should have known when I read the toner is mostly alcohol but I thought the moisturizer would make up for it. Wrong. Tonight I started Murad 5 Step System. Already my face doesn't feel as dry compared to Clinique. The 7 Day scrub worked great the first week but stopped after that.

Didn't Work at all

Ive been using the acne solutions for almost 6 weeks now and my skin has not improved one bit. I am constantly getting huge pimples on the side of my face which is most likely caused by hormones. I think this system is really only ment for those lucky people that have very light acne. I will be going back onto antibiotics as they gave me great results.

After the first time I used it my skin was feeling like a desert. I stopped using but my skin is still sooo dry. It covered with red spots and feels itchy. :((

Pros:

makes your skin smooth

Cons:

made my skin look sunburnt.

i have just used this product for the 4th time (according to directions, AM and PM) and my skin is in pain, is very itchy, and looks like i have a very bad sunburn. i am definitely going to stop using this product twice daily, it's way too strong for my sensitive skin. however, aside from that it has made my skin quite smooth and is definitely clearing up my pores. i recommend this product, but NOT for the twice-daily routine that they suggest.
