Pros:

Made skin smooth....

Cons:

Too smooth. It severely dried out my skin to the point that it felt like it would rip if I smiled or frowned! It also made my skin incredibly red and itchy. The moisturizer does not moisturize at all!!!

It hurts! For the first couple days that I used the line I was very optimistic because of how tight and smooth my skin felt. I did not notice that it was making the acne better but I figured it would take time so I continued to burn the crap out of my skin for a couple more weeks. After two weeks or so and tons of whining that my face hurt I cut back on how often I was using the products which helped the redness and burning to subside but never helped the original problem....my acne! I continued to use it because I had heard great reviews in a couple magazines but it never did work! I have used items I purchased at Walmart that were more effective and would suggest saving your money for some pretty smelling shampoo! :)

Pros:

Nice clean after feeling.

Cons:

Made the acne worse.

I tried this product because I saw it on an ad in a magazine and was interested. It worked the first few days I used it, but afterwards it started to irritate my skin and my break outs got worse.

Pros:

I have nothing good to say about this product.

Cons:

My acne wasnt that bad to start out with. I have a few here and there. My sister bought me this acne set for christmas. I been using it for two week now and it seem like all it doing is breaking me out more. I want to return it. Not worth my money

dont waste your money or chance on this product. It doesnt work for anything.

Pros:

You can try all three in the smaller size 3 pack before spending more for th eindividual bottles

Cons:

This really, really dried my skin out which in turn really aggrevated my skin & made me breakout more.

This treatment really did a number as far as drying out my skin to the point where I had big patchy sections on my skin. I reduced the final step to every other day and applied a moisturizer twice daily but I continued breaking out. I had to stop the treatment halfway through because my skin looked horrible. I moved on to Alpha Hydrox oilfree and three days later my skin is noticably clearer w/ no dying at all. I'm hoping this one works and will review it in a few weeks.

Cons:

My face had moderate acne breakouts and became extremely worse after two weeks of using the products.

I used the three step products and they made my acne way worse. I paid for the expensive brand name and I should have stuck with the drug store brands.

Pros:

The mild facial soap is non-irritating, possibly the least acne-aggrivating product in the Clinique skincare line

Cons:

Fine for the first week or two, but made my fairly controllable facial acne much much worse!!

Decided, like many others, to splurge on this line, thinking more expensive meant better! What a mistake! I usually use biore facewash, a neutrogena cleanser, and clearasil oil free moisturiser which worked great. Switched to the Clinique three step plan, using mild facial soap, 32 clarifying lotion and dramatically different moisturiser. Used for a month and made my skin far far worse than it ever has been. I've just stopped using it, and tipped the remaining stuff down the sink so I will never go near it again. I now have inflamed, red bumps all over my chin, whiteheads, you name it!! My skin has never been so bad and so many people comment on it and are clearly shocked. Please, please do NOT BUY this stuff! It's overpriced and aggrivates skin that's not normally sensitive. It's a big sales gimmick. Save yourself some cash and dignity and stick to the reliable cheaper products that work well.

Pros:

Brand name, nicely packaged, three different types of face wash.

Cons:

Irritable to skin-- causes itchy, red, and burning.

As soon as I started to use this product my face gradually turned bright red throughout the day. I don't know if I'm personally allergic to a chemical in their cleanser, but my entire face was beat red, itchy, and burning. I had to go to a doctor who recommended aloe vera. I use Clinique makeup and it's great, so I really don't know why this product didn't work for me-- Clinique is supposed to be a pretty high-end cosmetic brand and I was extremely disappointed with the 3-step acne care system. I got my 60$ back immediately after. So, be sure to check the ingrediants before purchase and warning for those with sensitive skin: be careful!

Pros:

Skin feels nice afterwards.

Cons:

Didn't work for me. Broke out worse when I first started using it and never really got better. Also, very expensive for what you're getting.

It's really too expensive and, in my opinion, is not better than any cheap supermarket brand that I've used.

Pros:

The 3 step acne treatment hade very nice packaging

Cons:

It made my skin worse! It has horrible consistency, and on top of all this it gave me many big ugly blotches!

Do NOT use this product. You are wasting your money and it doesn't work!!!!

Pros:

None.

Cons:

Caused rash and swelling.

I used the Clinique Acne 3-Step for two days. On the morning of the third day I had a red rash on my face and neck. There was a little swelling on my cheeks and lots of leathery bumbs on my neck. I returned the products immediately and got a full return. The sales clerk told me THEN that two of the employees who had tried the product got irritated skin from it. I use Clinique makeup regularly and I've never had any problems before trying their acne line. In the past I tried their regular 3-step products, which gave me a few pimples but not a gross rash!
