Pros:

The only acne product that worked for me. My skin is actually clear, not red and oily.

Cons:

can dry your skin despite the clearing moisturizer. Expensive.

I'm 38 years old now. I've had acne since I was 18 years old. Have tried everything such as accutane, murad, proactiv, neutrogena, etc. I will always have one or two huge cysts before trying on this. After trying it for almost one year now, I've never had one huge cyst although I would still get some blackheads and small pimples which don't grow big. What I really like about this product is that my skin doesn't get oily or shiny after a few hours of putting them on my skin. I'll wake up during the night and when I look in the mirror, I could see how clear my skin is, not oily, or shiny like other acne products would do to my skin. I hope this helps. But also, I am taking supernutrition multivitamin for women with organic superfoods and herbs for women, drinking green tea everyday, and eating healthier, organic foods. Once in a while, I'll cheat and eat junk foods. :-) I'm really happy I've found this product because I am tired of trying new stuff.

Pros:

The system made my skin (the parts unaffected by acne) very soft and smooth.

Cons:

Did not improve my acne AT ALL. The "moisturizer" that comes with drys out skin horribly therefore another moisturizer must be used afterwards.

The guy at clinique I talked to told me only two people had returned these products in the past 5 months so I thought it had to be worth a shot.I've been using the system for 3 weeks now and I swear I still have the SAME pimples and cysts I had when I began. My acne was not horrible before but this has definitely made it noticeably worse. I think the products work well but not for people suffering from acne. If I didn't have acne I would definitely use their three step program for normal skin. But I need something that REALLY treats acne. Bottom line I wouldn't recommend it. I'm going to continue using it for one more week because I had really high hopes; I've come this far I don't want to give up. But if nothing improves in a week I will be returning it.

Pros:

Practically odarless...

Cons:

Not best treatment for the scar-prone people

This product started to make me scarr, so I had no choice but to promptly discontinue usage. Their anti-bacterial soap is a god send, though!

Pros:

Makes skin softer
Washes off makeup
Fast results
Zits become smaller within a night

Cons:

Dried out skin
Toner stings when applying to open pores from popped zits

I started breaking out really bad around December, but I didn't start using Clinique until late January. I've been using this for about 2 weeks now. At first, I didn't see any results that were listed in the reviews. It actually broke me out a little more (it says it on the information guide that comes with the acne set). I was going to stop using it, but after 1 and a half week, I began noticing that my acne stopped. I am now dealing with acne from probably a week ago. My face hurts less. It is also much smoother! The only thing is that it dries out my skin =/. And when I pop a pimple or accidentally scratch on it and wash my face and applied the toner, it stings. I'm not trying to scare you. It actually worked for me. My family noticed how my skin is getting better. But to be honest, I didn't depend on acne medication that much. I tried eating a better diet too. Hope this helps!

Pros:

It smells ok. Very light foam cleanser.

Cons:

I'm still awaiting results and I've been using this for about a month. I really don't see any improvements. The Benzoyl lotion is too light and can be quite bothersome.

It's typical for my skin. I'm 27 y/o and have been struggling w/ acne since I was 11. I've always had mild acne but somehow it's been unmanageable for almost a year now. I'd suggest trying it only b/c it seems that acne products are all trial and error. Some will work better than others. I've never found a real cure, if there is one. If this was going to work for me, I think i would've at least seen a slight improvement but so far absolutely nothing. I'll try the starter kit until it finishes and then i'll be back on the quest for a new product.

Pros:

packing and smell. the price was alright for something from a department store. other than that.... none.none.none.none.none.none!

Cons:

made my skin HORRIBLY DRY(im on accutane now, and its not even that dry). dryness made it difficult for me to wear makeup. gave me a lot more pimples.itched.skin was red and very angry with me

this product is designed for those with mild acne, so if yours is worse than that then this product is not for you! also, test this product on a patch of skin a few times, because it can be highly irratating. the 2nd step exfoliator contains a high amount of alochol (irritating), and is followed by the "moisturizer" which doesnt really moisturize because it contains medicines which are drying (also irritating). i recommend this for MILD ACNE PATIENTS WITH TOUGH SKIN!

Pros:

Didn't find any

Cons:

Expensive
Burns, made my acne WORSE!

By the end I ended up with tons of blemishes on my face. Don't waste ur money on this product rather go for products from proactiv.

Pros:

I was walked through the best system for me through the counter attendant, it turned out to be very expensive. It began to clear my skin up after about two weeks. My skin was a little dried up, but the zits went down to virtually nothing.

Cons:

Very expensive and the soap bar is very impractical for travel. It has done nothing for the scars, so unfortunately my skin doesn't appear clear as such.

Expensive but relatively quick results. Scarring still a problem but improved the overall look.

Pros:

It pretty much completely cleared up my acne, and made most scars fade completely.

Cons:

My skin is fairly dry after use, so I have to put on the clinique lotion too...which makes my face sometimes moderately oily.
It's also pretty expensive.

When I first started using it my cheeks and chin got so dry that they turned bright red and painful. Of course, I started using is in January when Ottawa is pretty cold and skin drying, so that couldn't have helped. They stayed that way for a couple weeks, and then I got some more moisturizer for after everything, and my skin got used to the stuff. The only thing is that I am afraid of what'll happen when I have to stop using this product...because I'm pretty sure my skin is addicted to it. I don't notice that it having any smell, it's just dry flakiness that I have problems with. Good luck!

Pros:

Easy to get hold of, easy to apply, has made my skin less oily and definitely not dried it out and for the second and third week of using the 3 steps my skin noticeably improved. I think I have less blackheads too now.

Cons:

Expensive, makes your skin look worse straight after applying the three steps, skin got really bad during the first week of using it (the detox part of the treatment). Skin's got bad again now in the fourth week of using it...

Does is work....?! Still don't know. I'm hoping this is a second skin detox in week 4 but I have a feeling it's not working and I need to find another solution for my acne. I'm still gonna keep on using it for another month I reckon and then I'll have a better idea of whether it's going to work for my skin.
