Pros:

It worked very well, and I definitely had great results!

Cons:

None

I love the Murad Acne Kit!!! Of course I went through the "Purging" State, but everyone goes through that the first week... What can I say, it was a very good product... Oh and I stole from Ulta, so it didn't cost me any money (I wouldn't pay over $40.00 for skin Care!)

Pros:

Worked very good for me!
Didnt upset my skin once it worked.

Cons:

Skin "purged" for about 3 weeks
Didnt help with scar marks...
Didnt smell good but who cares!? Its medicine and not suppose to smell like flowers! I would be scared if it was too perfumey cause that would probably irritate my sensitive skin.

Hi! I'm 29 yr old I have used Murad Acne complex for about 5 weeks now and have seen great results. From the first day I used it I noticed my existing pimples started to heal, and not just dry up like they normally did with a Benzoyl Peroxide treatment, but actually heal. I had probably about 20 something blemishes on my face when I started and now I only have a few dark spots that cover up with a dab of concealer. My face looks great!! I did have the purging the first three weeks and almost gave up because of it. It was pretty bad, but I could tell it was purging because it was like lots of tiny little white heads that went away quickly but where constantly there so I swore off makeup. I actually cried because it got so bad but I stuck with it. I do recommend the Toner to use after the cleanser and before the gel. I talked to a professional that said a toner restores your skins Ph balance and the other products will not work as well with out doing that first.

Pros:

Great product, Nice clean feeling to your skin, and it works pretty quick!

Cons:

pricing is a bit edgy, but you get what you pay for.

I have been using other face cleaners for a while, but then i was still breaking out. I was told by my older siblings to use Murad, and what a choice I made! Pricing is a bit expensive, but wow I had some pretty bad acne on my forehead, but after a week or 2 there all gone!

Pros:

Cleanser is super gentle, smells great, lasts a long time.
Moisturizer is ultra silky and lightweight, not oily.

Cons:

Be prepared to deal with purging...
Exfoliating gel *does* smell weird but you get used to it.

I have been using this product for about a month, and during this time my breakouts have gotten worse. I figured there would be a week or two of purging and then I'd see results, but I hadn't. So in my frustration, I found Dan's regimen. I haven't actually switched products, but I did follow his application, and I learned that application is just as important as the product itself. I saw immediate results. Here's what I now do: 1. Use a generous amount of cleanser. Work the lather in your hands before moving on to your face. Lightly glide your hands (more like your fingertips) across your face for about 15 seconds. 2. I stopped using the toner and instead apply a generous amount of the exfoliating gel. Glide lightly, just like with the cleanser. Let dry. Rub in a dab of spot treatment if needed. 3. Moisturize! Most importantly, DO NOT PICK. Keep your hands away from your face and only use light pressure when cleansing and applying products. I would say tr

Pros:

Magic ingredient: salicilic acid, smooth dry skin.

Cons:

A little bit expensive.

I have oily skin, but i keep it in control, i know how to take care of it. I use to use L'oreal Pure Zone, but i cannot find it anymore. I saw a comercial in the Glamour magazine, and when i saw the ingredients, salicilic acid, what was the base of the pure zone, i said this should work. And it does. My advice is, that the basic in oily skin care is the cosmetologic treatment. No matter how good is a product, it will get your acne worse if you are not going to a cosmetologist first. These products help to maintain your skin clear, but if you are using it on an inflamed skin, it will just get worse. I'm satisfyed with this product.

Pros:

I think murad is amazing!! if you use it the way they tell you, and if you can afford it, take the supplements, it really really works!!! i've been on the pills for a few days and ALREADY my skin is starting to clear!! I LOVE MURAD!

Cons:

none!

PATIENCE, and NOT PICKING!!!!!! If you can't, just don't look in the mirror! Use the products just as they tell you to, wash in the morning, and at night, apply the gel and lotion at night, (if you get the supplements, take them as directed) and i swear you will have CLEAR SKIN IN A MONTH!!

Pros:

Great smelling and invigorating cleanser! The moisturizer makes my skin feel silky and smooth. The gel is lightening my dark marks left behind from cystic acne.

Cons:

The exfoliating acne gel can take time getting used to so just use it at night for the first 2 weeks.

My whole life I have never suffered from acne. Now that I am 28 I started to have these nightmarish breakouts. Huge cystic acne and blackheads on my jaw and cheeks. I used proactive and it did absolutely nothing for me except hurt when I used it. Finally after trying everything I could get my hands on I came across the Murad website. I quickly ordered the 30 day kit and had my package within 3 days. After 1 week all of my huge painful bumps went down tremendously and now I just have a few dark marks left behind. I never went through the "purging" process they say could happen. When rubbing my hands over my face, it is completely smooth. I really thought I was going to have to pile on tons of makeup forever but this product has made such a huge difference in my life. I would say to try it and if it doesn't work for you, they give you a full refund.

Pros:

-Makes skin very smooth, and has started healing scars
-Seems to be working as advertised so far
-Strikes a perfect balance between drying/moisturizing complexes for my skin

Cons:

-The "Purge" is occuring on my skin, though it doesn't seem nearly as severe as some have put it
-Toner works well, but causes terrible redness and inflamation on acne/scars for up to an hour after. Subsides after a while tho, and is a good AHA

Right now I am cautiously optimistic with the Murad solution. I don't have terrible acne, more just whiteheads scattered around. I've only been on the solution for a couple days, but as of right now it seems to be working. Over the first two or three days, I had numerous small whiteheads show up, nothing massive, but annoying. Over the past couple, their surfacing has seemed to slow. Let me be clear that these were very tiny, managable blemishes, no huge cysts. Hopefully my skin takes to the product more, and the clearing part of the ad will follow the purging part. On a side note, this product makes my skin feel very exfoliated and just great overall, not too oily, not too dry. Its much less harsh than Dan's or Neutrogena's regimens, and I hope the great skin quality is a promise of things to come. I only have a 30 day sample, so if no progress has been made by then, I will go back to just gentle cleanser and moisturizer. My skin afterall isn't terrible to begin with.
