Pros:

Simple steps, smells unlike other acne meds, gentle on skin.

Cons:

none really

I have very very mild acne prone skin. I only break out about once a month and this system clears up any redness and pimples in about 4 days. I use it only a week a month, the rest I use MAC wipes but I do use the exfoliating gel every single night. The cleanser just a week a month, and the on the spot very occasionally. So I would say if you have very mild acne, some skin redness this would deff help you get perfect skin.

Pros:

Used the products for four weeks. They do work. Suspect that most who didn't like the products were not faithfully using them. My acne breakouts are down at least 90%. Am very happy with these products.

Cons:

Too expensive

Good starting point but salacydic acid products are available anywhere and are less expensive. I just ordered some from [link removed]. I hope it works as well as Murad did.

Pros:

It's amazing! I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone. I have used several products before nothing seemed to work as well as Murad. I love it, and have been using this product for 2 years now!

Cons:

The acne gel stings a little bit, but that's how you know it's really working! I use it once, at night.

Just try it.

Pros:

works well, lots of product. feels great on skin and greatly improves the non-acne sections.

Cons:

not 100%; combine with moisturizer that has more sal acid than murad moisturizer for better clearing

Was on combo minocycline twice daily, birth control, differin with mild cleanser. Went off all prescription drugs because cost and stomach probs from antibiotics. Murad cleanser and toner plus hope in a bottle by philosophy as moisturizer (extra sal. acid) works as well as all the drugs did. Have had cysts for 12 yrs and mostly clear now. Still breaking out monthly and if wear makeup, but Murad is the best I've found. The cleanser is great and works better if left on for a minute or so. The spot treatment with low sulfur is terrific if I feel a pimple coming on. It cools the spot so it's less painful and keeps it from being as bad. Also, the spot treatment is greeny-clear in color and serves as a concealer. If I remember to use it my skin is much better. Previously used dry-lo high concentration sulfur treatment; this works as well without obvious dots on my face.

Pros:

My face feels clean and is much clearer.

Cons:

Skin is too dry after using it. I have to use additional lotion.

I had a spotless complection until I was about 20. I tried the regular stuff you buy from the drug store, went to a dermatologist (which made me a wreck) and then decided to try Murad. It worked wonders. I think they changed the scent. It used to smell funny, but now it doesn't. I stopped using it when I was pregnant because my face stayed clear both times. I had to start again afterward though. In between I tried Proavtive, cause uit was more affordable. It did nothing for me. I started Murad again and sure enough, it worked and continues to work. I have been using it for at least 5 years now.

Pros:

Cleared my skin pretty quickly. Left my skin feeling fresh.

Cons:

You do go through a period of purging for about a week and a half to two weeks.. It's normal though, so don't give up. The lotion does not work very well.

My skin cleared and I bought some everyday lotion for my face and it was very worth it.

Pros:

Tingling feeling, Refreshing. Cleared skin quickly

Cons:

Price... Would be better if it was more affordable

I've tried many products including Proactiv and Acutane. I know a lot of people are going around saying not to try Murad cause it irritated their skin or whatever reason but I have to say I had the same experience with other products. The bottom line is you never know what will work for you until you try it. Unfortunately that means trying a lot of different products out there. Luckily Murad helped me out, it cleared my skin and really reduced my redness and has overall improved the feel of my skin. It would be great if the price was a bit more affordable but I guess we can't have everything.

Pros:

Great product, Nice clean feeling to your skin, and it works pretty quick!

Cons:

pricing is a bit edgy, but you get what you pay for.

I have been using other face cleaners for a while, but then i was still breaking out. I was told by my older siblings to use Murad, and what a choice I made! Pricing is a bit expensive, but wow I had some pretty bad acne on my forehead, but after a week or 2 there all gone!

Pros:

Magic ingredient: salicilic acid, smooth dry skin.

Cons:

A little bit expensive.

I have oily skin, but i keep it in control, i know how to take care of it. I use to use L'oreal Pure Zone, but i cannot find it anymore. I saw a comercial in the Glamour magazine, and when i saw the ingredients, salicilic acid, what was the base of the pure zone, i said this should work. And it does. My advice is, that the basic in oily skin care is the cosmetologic treatment. No matter how good is a product, it will get your acne worse if you are not going to a cosmetologist first. These products help to maintain your skin clear, but if you are using it on an inflamed skin, it will just get worse. I'm satisfyed with this product.
