Pros:

it smells good

Cons:

Redness, irritated skin, never cleared up my face. GIVES YOU CYST Acne (the worst kind) I now have more acne than I initially started with.

Do not get this product... again a failure like proactive... Do not waist your money on it. Overall, just a marketing scheme to make money for someone....DOES NOT WORK

Pros:

kind of helped for a short period of time

Cons:

didn't help in the long run...at all

this stuff sucks. most overrated acne regimen next to Proactive, which is also bunk. this stuff is ridiculously overpriced and i can't believe i used it for as long as i did, desperatley hoping it would work. useless!

Pros:

convincing commercial

Cons:

Dries out your skin and give you random pimples.

I used this product for a few months, I mostly have acne scars prom popping one or two pimples but overtime the marks add up. I tried murad and it makes your skin bright but you still get them breakouts. I would use it at night and wake up with big pimples and it also dries out your skin.

Pros:

Smells good, cleared my skin for a minute

Cons:

Made breakouts worse (especially in my t-zone, my forehead is completely JACKED UP!!) I've had breakouts where I never had them before.

I'm sitting here watching the infomercial for Murad and I am ticked. I was fooled into believing the hype and now looking at the people (u know the ones that aren't paid actors) in ad it is obvious they are wearing make-up. I am African-American and the acne that Murad left behind has left dark scars. My Aunt told me that back in the 90s she tried it while in college and had a horrible experience (wish she could've gave me a heads up). I gave it 3 months because I didn't want to give up on it but the breakouts just got out of control. From what I've read it seems like it works the first two weeks (skin was great) then it's downhill from there. While I was using it my boyfriend asked me "I thought u were going to try that Murad stuff" and when I told him I was already using it he was shocked. I am returning to Proactiv (don't know why I stopped to begin with). I won't say not to use it because everyone's skin is different but I thought I should share my experience.

Pros:

appears to calm down and treat acne

Cons:

i started breaking out quite badly after the first few days. initially i thought it was hormonal or anything related to whatever i ate, but i figured out that it was due to the cleanser. it's very depressing.

my skin's texture was okay to begin with, but it became more uneven and bumpy after using the cleanser and moisturizer. im having whiteheads and basically a general breakout all over my face although i've used it for only two weeks, even on areas that were fine initially. im sure it will work on some people but as of now, i dont think i would risk it. it's too embarrassing to even go out now.

Pros:

Improved overall texture

Cons:

more breakouts than before I started using it

It did not improve my skin at all actually made it worse. I stuck with it because they said my skin would go through a purging period however the purging period never stopped after 1 1/2 months of use. Gave it up and went to the doctor.

Pros:

cleanser is nice and doesn't make skin feel tight or leave film.
lotion is hydrating and leaves skin feeling soft.

Cons:

lotion can get greasy.
exfoliating treatment gel is the worst product in this whole kit because it has extremely harsh ingredients and causes more breakouts.

PLEASE FOR ANYONE OUT THERE WHO IS USING MURAD, STOP AT THIS VERY MOMENT! I will tell you exactly why, first of all the exfoliating treatment gel made me "purge" for 3 months! It did absolutely nothing for my skin except cause more breakouts everyday and it also feels very tacky on the skin and can burn a lot when first using it. The clarifying mask sinks deep into the pores and is hard to take off leaving skin irritated. All in all, the whole kit itself SUCKS. Please for the sake of your skin, do not try murad.
